They are amazing ! Good customer service, very healthy and good food. I love them, thank you for this amazing local business in the neighborhood. My favorite is the veggie bowl with the tasty Mexican rice, it has a nice kick and their homemade chimichurri salsa. Oh and don’t let me start with the nice hummus, it taste so fresh!

Tip — check in and Unilocalers get 10% off! JJ’s Grille is a great addition to the Orlando community. It’s a little bit Chipotle meets Mediterranean. I have been to JJ’s a few times and every time I get something different, there are so many ways to mix it up. Their rice bowls are the way to go. I love the lentil rice. I have had their chicken, pork and steak. Their pulled pork is loaded with flavor, I highly recommend it. The J-Bouli sauce… my mouth is currently watering just thinking about it. It’s so different yet so delicious. If you like a little spice make sure to ask for a side of their hotsauce, it’s pretty tasty. They also have a few options of beer and wine available which is always a nice plus. Their domestic beers are pretty reasonable at $ 3.45 each. If you are looking for a quick eat whether its sit-in or takeout, give JJ’s Grille a try. My suggestion, grab your food to go and head over to Ocean Sun Brewing for a local beer.

Best rice bowls every!!! I love the middle eastern bowl. Such great flavor. And I love the eggplant vegetables and the pork is sooo good. This place is waaaaaay better than chipotle! I wish they had more locations! GREAT food and awesome and friendly service!!! I definitely recommend to anyone.

Chipotle Shmipotle. JJ’s is where it’s at. I decided to FINALLY come here after having it bookmarked for a while and I already can’t wait to go back. It’s pretty similar to Chipotle BUT there are Mediterranean options like lentils and rice(which I got) with toppings like tabbouleh and tzaziki and hummus and pretty much just heaven in a bowl. There’s not too much I can say that another Unilocaler hasn’t already said. Generous portions, lots of variety, and all around mouthwatering food. You’ll probably see me there if you ever decide to visit.

Think Chipotle but with Mediterranean options. So good! I usually get the bowl with rice and lentils, vegetables which include eggplant, protein, salsa, tzatziki, and that damn chimichurri at the end. Man that stuff is good. My only gripe is that the veggies with the eggplant are a bit oily for my taste. But the rice and lentils do an ok job of soaking it up. The first time I went a man helped me and he seemed very impatient and annoyed with my questions. It was my first time there! But I haven’t seen him since and now a very delightful girl works behind the counter. This is my go-to in this area for a quick, healthy, delicious lunch or dinner. Sometimes I’m able to eat half for lunch and the other half for dinner. The bowls get pretty big :)

Holy cow this is tasty! I had the Midwest bowl with lentils, roasted eggplant(yum!), toubouli, black beans, veggies, pork, hummus and tziki sauce. The flavor is incredible, can’t believe I just found this place.

Excellent casual eatery on Curry Ford! It’s a locally-run alternative to Chipotle and other build-your-own burrito /bowl /wrap restaurants… and it offers a bit more flavor variety as well. I love that I can choose between Mediterranean and Mexican options, or enjoy a combination of the two. The first time I came here, I ordered a vegetable burrito with southwestern rice, sauteed peppers /onions, black beans a TON of guacamole. Great decision. The vegetables were so tender and the guac was amazingly fresh. The second time I came here, I had a pulled pork burrito with southwestern rice and a chimichurri sauce. The chimichurri sauce is bold and delicious… a perfect accompaniment to the pulled pork, which was very tender, having been slow-cooked for hours. The service here is excellent. The employees make great recommendations and can help you make a decision if you find yourself overwhelmed by the many delicious options on the menu. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying some Mediterranean flavors. TIP: Order food from here and take it over to Ocean Sun Brewing, located at the end of the shopping plaza(the brewery doesn’t serve food, but allows outside food).

This place is like a Chipotle. Go through the line and pick your stuff. Steak, chicken, or pork. Black beans or lentils with the choice of 3 kinds of rice. They also have hummus and parsley salad. Cheese, sour cream and tahanni. It was good but I like Chipotle about the same

I have only been to JJ’s once, but I keep talking about it and I definitely NEED to go back. A friendly guy greeted us asked if we first timers. He quickly went over the Mexican Lebanese styled menu and explained the overall concept and gave some suggestions on what to choose. I never would have thought of mixing these two food types but it was delicious. I went for the Mid-East Bowl with the lentil rice. I definitely recommend getting the pulled pork! It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I chose to top it with the black beans, veggies, pico de gallo, feta, sour cream, tzatziki, and chimmichurri! We got some pita chips which we were pretty crunchy. I don’t know if it was a bad batch, but they didn’t ruin the main meal :) The guacamole is also super delicious — definitely recommend it as a side! Head on over to JJ’s! You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve had JJ’s for catered lunch at the office many times. After raving about it being my favorite lunch, I finally had the chance to go to the actual restaurant with my husband. I opted for the salad bowl with lentils(deliciously seasoned), veggies, pulled pork(delicious), tabouleh, and tzatziki sauce. My husband being his first time wanted to try everything. He got a rice bowl. They were very accommodating when he asked for a little bit of Mexican rice and little of the Mediterranean rice. He also got a little black beans and some lentils. We topped off our meal with chips and guac and a couple beers. My husband and I are very picky about guac.(He makes delicious guac.) We both enjoyed the guac– very tasty. We both cleaned our plates. My husband was disappointed when I finished mine(he was hoping to eat the rest of my food). My husband now totally understands what all my raving was about. He can’t wait to go back! Besides the amazingly delicious food, the people there are friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend JJ’s!!!

A last minute meal decision turned into a place that’ll be a repeat adventure. We headed here after a quick search of food close by the area. When you walk in you’ll see the setup is much like a Chipotle or Subway, where the food is lined up and you walk down the row picking what you’d like. First choice is the type of meal you want: rice bowl, burrito, etc. Next up is the meat, or none! Then toppings like salsa, cheese, lettuce. The guacamole is a little extra, but totally worth it! Chips and drinks are at the end, along with the register for payment. It’s a smaller location, so there are limited seats, but everything is clean and inviting. Overall: A Fresh. Fast. Tasty. Get lentil rice. Get the guacamole. Enjoy!

Came here for lunch today, and I have to say JJ’s deserves every one of its 5 stars. The mashup of Mediterranean and Mexican is both different and delicious, and there’s a Chipotle-style ordering system. I got the bowl that comes with the rice and lentils and got half and half pork and chicken. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable, and you cal tell they care a lot about their food. And SWEETJESUS the pork is some of the best I’ve had — it melts in your mouth. Would definitely recommend trying the chimichurri sauce and/or the habanero sauce, they’re both very good. Very good food for a reasonable price — we’ll definitely be back!

My new favorite spot close to home! So I recently moved to the neighborhood, and while cleaning and unpacking I needed something quick and tasty, so of course I had to see what Unilocal suggested. I’m so glad it took me to JJ’s. I know the idea of a Mexican-Lebanese place sounds odd at first, but it works oh so well. The setup is very similar to Chipotle as you go and select a burrito/wrap/bowl and fill it up, but having the option to mix it up with lentils, tzaziki, and the like brings it up several notches. Also, I’ve never been a big fan of corn chips, so having fresh pita chips is a big plus. In all, it’s fast food but super fresh, with huge portions and affordable prices. Also, I’m not one to judge the appearance of a place if the food is good, but I know other people are. JJ’s is in a strip mall by Winn Dixie, but when you go in you can see they put effort and thought in decorating, it has a very modern atmosphere, mixing touches of reclaimed wood and metal, and did I mention the restroom is an adorable shade of avocado green? Speaking of avocado, try the guacamole, it’s awesome.

I have been here several times and I’ve left utterly satisfied after each visit! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Their food is just simply delicious. Fresh veggies and different rice and lentils to chose from. Their tabouli is the best I’ve had at any restaurant and their tzaziki and hummus are also amazing. They have fresh pita chips! You get in line, choose your meat, rice and veggies and create your own bowl or pita. Their sautéed veggies and eggplant are exceptionally good! It is family owned and operated and the food there is always abundantly fresh. Also, great price with big portions. You can’t beat it.

JJ’s Grille has done what I thought was impossible. As an avid devotee of Chipotle, I never thought I’d encounter a fast-casual joint that could upstage my beloved burrito chain. After some poking by some close friends and reading the reviews of some trusted Unilocalers, I decided to see if JJ’s was worth it. You know how JJ Abrams saved the Star Trek and Star Wars franchises? JJ’s Grille has saved the fast-casual dining restaurants. Not that fast-casual dining restaurants were in any trouble; I just wanted to make a Star Wars reference. ANYWAY… locally owned, JJ’s offers a Chipotle-esque menu with a Lebanese fusion that works like gangbusters. The set up is like Chipotle. You pick what you want(burrito, salad, pita sandwich, etc) and choose your protein, but then here’s where JJ’s goes into its own territory. There are three different types of rice to choose from, you can choose between beans or lentils, you can get tabouli and or salsa, and they have a nice selection sauces ranging from hummus to red wine vinaigrette(I like the cucumber-dill sauce). All of the ingredients are super fresh and they don’t look like they’ve been sitting out there for hours. The staff is very friendly. As I was by myself for my first time here, I didn’t really know what the deal was. They took the time to kindly explain all of choices and ingredients and I never felt like I was annoying them in any way. These people truly love what they’re doing. Also, a nice local touch, it seems like they make a point of learning people’s names. After swiping my card, the gentleman called me Peter for the rest of the transaction. I like nice little touches like that. Also, the guy in line before seemed to be a regular and they knew exactly what his order was without asking. So, it’s basically the Orlando Mexican/Lebanese version of Cheers. Seriously, try this place out. The location may be further away than your nearest Chipotle, but it’s worth it. The prices are about the same as Chipotle, so really, I won’t hear any more excuses from you. I can’t wait to go back and try different combinations of their delicious looking food.

Pretty decent place. Think Chipotle with a Middle Eastern twist. I like that they kept the menu simple and made everything fresh. Food actually tastes a little better than Chipotle. I could see them franchising it in the future. Aside from the cheap signage when ordering, the décor was very nice and modern. We ordered the pork Mex bowl which was very juicy and flavorful. We also ordered the chicken J-boule bowl and that tasted very fresh as well. Tzatziki has lots of dill, which my wife loves. Hummus was a bit chunky and pita chips were on the thick side, but I imagine that’s probably more authentic than the pita chips we get at Publix. Overall, solid place in an unassuming part of town. We will be back.

I was here once before when the restaurant first opened, but I held off on reviewing until I had another go with it. I didn’t realize it would be this long! There are a couple of other offerings on the menu, but honestly the J-bouli bowl is where it’s at. Build it yourself however you like, but I have to recommend that in there somewhere you include the eggplant and the pork. However you do it though, you can’t really go wrong.

Go here now! I finally made it here and am mad I’ve missed out for so long. I got a more mexican-esque rice bowl and it was delicious. I had it with the pulled pork, which I thought was fantastically seasoned and moist. Their homemade habanero sauce was flavorful and yes hot!!! Can’t wait to go back for more.

*Sigh* Where do I begin? I really wanted to love this place. Based on my experience I can’t recommend this place. The Good: the pork has good flavor. It goes well top of lentil rice with chimichurri on the side. The Bad: The homemade tortilla chips are awful. They have zero flavor. Same goes for the queso dip. It doesn’t taste cheesy, it’s not smooth, and it has a curdled appearance and mouthfeel. Pass on both. Trust me. My ordering process had a few unwelcome surprises. I ordered a regular side of queso and they charged me for and gave me a large. I didn’t realize it until I saw my receipt afterwards. I was unaware there was a large size. I wouldn’t have minded the extra cost so much if it was any good. I also ordered a Redd’s Ale. Redd’s is a domestic beer, but I was charged the import price. I brought it to the attention of a manager. He said they charge more because Redd’s is a pricier beer. If that’s the case, they need to inform their customers as they order. Either that or post individual prices for each beer. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth(no pun intended). I doubt I’ll be back.
