I love this place and I can bring my dog top dog with me outside. The food is wonderful and the staff is really friendly.

T Flats is always a good time, but never a great time… if you know what I mean? I love it for the hot sauce bar. I’m obsessed with hot sauces and I’m also obsessed with the idea that I can have a little bit of everything… so this idea really works for me. The food is basic Mexican. tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, chimichangas. Its really not anything super special but the hot sauces keep me coming back. I recently discovered the salad it is actually really, really good– I could put that citrus dressing on everything.

Decent food! Good price, and the people seem pretty cool. Cheap lunch on Thursday with their burrito deal, but that’s the only day they have a lunch special on.

Located off Summerlin, in Thornton Park Downtown Orlando. They validate parking, so feel free to enjoy hassle-free parking in the garage. I hadn’t been to this location before, it’s very large! Nice staff and they are currently offering a special menu that I was there to sample. We enjoyed their new Hemp line available through 9÷2÷2014. Rachel, the chef at this location, created one of the new Hemp burritos currently on special. The Tree Hugger is filled with cheesy goodness and roasted veggies including mushrooms and poblanos. A nice option from the standard beans that are the regular veggie options. We also sampled two regular items, the Atom Bomb appetizer, like a small chimichanga filled with cream cheese, cheddar cheese and diced jalapeño. 6 pieces are served with a side of the Smack My Sweet Ass And Call Me Sally chili sauce, which was a nice contrast. Also a fun dessert, the Banana empanadas with Carmel dipping sauce.

Love TFs menu of fun items. I am a regular on TACOTUESDAYS. I was invited to this location to try a couple of their new menu items: the atom bomb, pie roller, tree hugger and a play on the chicken waffle. I loved the heat on the atom bomb(appetizer roll with cream cheese/jalepeno chopped peppers/cilantro). Some at the table thought it was too spicy… I thought it was just right. The tree hugger was a very good sized burrito. My wife particularly liked it as she is a vegetarian. As a meatatarian, I even enjoyed the array of veggies… particularly the portabellas. It was even better with a little spicy sweet sauce. I didnt dig the burrito/chicken waffle… a bit too bland and dry for me. I LOVED the«pie roller»…like a mini pizza but in burrito form. Tons of pepparoni and green peppers rounded out nicely in a spicy sauce.

Great food and great service! I’ve been to this Tijuana Flats location several times. Usually, my friends and I will hit it up before heading over to the Bob Carr for a show. It is convenient to that downtown area while still being pretty easy to get in and out of quickly if you are in a rush. Parking for this location is in a garage behind the restaurant, but they do validate. I usually stick with the vegetarian tacos when visiting Tijuana Flats and they are consistently delicious. The real star of the show are the staff! No matter what Tijuana Flats you visit, you know the service will be great! They are always quick to welcome you, good at ensuring that the food you order is just how you want it and attentive throughout the meal if you need refills or any other assistance. Always enjoy visiting!

The food and customer service is always great but they recently strated cutting me short on the chips. I usually order a side of quaso to eat w my chips but the past 2 times there were only 6 chips. Literally 6 only. :(That’s disappointing.

Great local tex mex chain. Quirky young atmosphere. Extensive sauce bar so you can try lots of flavors. If you like buffalo chicken get the bangin chicken burrito. It is huge and smothered with their bangin sauce that has an awesome buffalo flavor. I like the no-ritto bowls for a little healthier option.

We love this great little spot in Thornton Park. While they do have multiple locations it doesn’t feel like a chain and the food is all high quality. It’s been a great grab and go treat for us on relaxing Saturday evenings. My husband loves their mega burritos because it provides two meals and I love the option to actually enjoy Mexican food dairy free!

Wednesday nights seem to be THE time to hit up this particular location of Tijuana Flats.(Actually, in speaking to one of the always friendly staff, most evenings have few crowds; they are quite busy for lunch.) have been here a couple of times in the last few months, and never have to wait in line. Tijuana Flats has decent over-the-counter«Mexican» food, and is consistently reliable. I’m personally a fan of their salads(yes, that’s what I often order), although I’ve tried their tacos and flautas, all of which are enjoyable. The one wonky thing about this specific location is parking — mostly it’s in the garage above, and I’m not sure of TF validates. Regardless, it’s worth it. Two thumbs up here. Good neighborhood joint for Thornton Park.

Decided to venture out for lunch on a workday. I was craving mexican type food so I drove over to Thornton Park to dine here. Parking is the biggest bummer. You can either pay to park in the garage or try to find a spot off street. Luckily I found a spot off Washington and walked up. The restaurant was pretty empty as I probably missed the lunch rush. They took my order right away and within 5 – 10 minutes my food was brought out to me. The tacos are huge. I ordered 2 but 1 would’ve been fine. I also got a side of refried beans which were fine but tiny! Complimentary chips also came with my meal but I barely touched them. There is a huge sauce bar so you can try out different sauces from mild, medium to dang spicy hot! The names are pretty funny. My only gripe is that the little paper containers they provide are so tiny. I wish they made them bigger because then you’re left to go back and forth to the sauce bar for seconds. Not to mention that the chips don’t fit in the containers for dipping. Also, drink refills are free. They happily gave me a refill as I was leaving the location. I would gladly come back again but definitely when it’s not busy.

I always make it a point to get some good tex-mex before I head back to Canada, because apparently, we’re quite incapable of making really good tex-mex. Anyways, I stopped by Tijuana Flats for dinner before I headed to the airport and it was the best decision I made all day. I decided to get the Dos Tacos(chicken) and I got the nacho chips with the salsa and queso on the side. I loveddddd the queso(though I didn’t eat too much of it for fear of a heart attack) The chicken was well seasoned as well which made the taco really good. I always get a soft shell since I hate it when the shell falls apart. The soft shell was good as well and it was really doughy and tender. I got all the fixings in the taco and I liked it for the first taco, but the black olives seem to get a bit overpowering at a certain point(I probably won’t ask for the black olives next time). I also had a fish taco because that’s just standard for me and it was soooooo good! The fish was cooked perfectly. I also tried some sauces from the hot sauce bar. They were great, minus the allergic reaction that I think I had from one of the sauces. I have a mild allergy to peanuts and I have a feeling that some ingredients may have just been omitted on the sign when I picked them out, but no worries because I’m still coming back to Tijuana Flats!

This location is always quick with friendly staff. The food is basic tex mex — good but nothing super authentic. Which is fine with me, just know what you’re getting. Love the hot sauce bar!

This place made a believer out of a non-believer. Prior to dining here I had been ruined by a bad T-Flats experience several years ago at a different location. Since then I swore I’d never eat at T-Flats again. until I was studying at Starbucks in Thornton Park and needed somewhere to eat. My friend suggested T-Flats and against my will we went. Service was GREAT. The manager greeted us as we entered and gave me a few suggestions and I ended up going with the Flautas. Hot, fresh and crispy golden goodness. They came with an assortment of peppers, tomatoes, and onions. Had a cold beer to wash it down. We ate on the patio areas and I can definitely say the people watching on a beautiful day is NOT to be missed. This area of Summerlin Ave. is often bustling with activity. The verdict? Tijunana Flats gets two thumbs up.

Reasons why this place is shizniz material: They provide cheesy tex-mex goodness at a not so pricey price. Meals ranging around $ 5-$ 10. Those flautas with the pico de gallo, onions, chicken, fried tortilla roll, with fabulous cheese are very memorable. I been a fan for a couple of years now, it’s just this taste that you could never forget, especially if you are a cheese lover. They also have a hot sauce bar! You choose the flavor of your own liking and enjoy! Try the smack my ass and call me sally if you dare. Has anybody tried the cookie dough flautas with the chocolate sauce!!! These flautas are blessed with powdered sugar sprinkled on top of them. The flauta is warm and goes lovely with the melting chocolate dip. Mega yum, super mega yum. I know it’s weird to mention but the sprite here is so delicious because they crunch up the ice and the soda is really bubbly here for some reason. Basically tijuana flats know what they are doing and they provide excellent service. The cashier kept coming to refill drinks, provide the sauces that were needed, and even asked if the meal was enjoyable. How nice. Since this location is right next to Lake Eola park it’s enjoyable to take a nice roll(not walk) down the park since this place really fills you up.

They read my review and/or something changed. Last night was quite exceptional. Listen — I’m so not trying to be a jerk here — I just try to be honest and fair. And your food is AWESOME! The package works, but when you are STARVING and have to wait, it hurts. The fact I ate here two nights in three days means something and the service was totally on point last night. ENCHILADAPOWER! :)

Love Tijuana Flats. I go here quite often on Taco Tuesday since they have the $ 4.99 deal for 2 tacos and a drink. I love their beef and their chicken… always get one of each in a hard taco shell with cheese, with a side of queso. Personally, I think they give you a lot of meat in the tacos, so I like to take some of the beef out of mine and put it in the queso and it makes it 10X more delicious! They also have Mello Yellow… which you don’t find places very often, and I love it! Not to mention their crushed ice! Call me crazy, but I think eating your crushed ice with your soda makes your soda taste better… and it’s just fun to do! Service is always great here. I come here often for lunch, especially on Taco Tuesday, and they get you in and our farely quickly regardless of how long the line might be, and they’ll ask if you’d like a drink while you wait in line.

This location is a newer T Flats and has murals more than the famous photos and I like that for a change. I dig this layout much more than the other T Flats as this has a huge indoor seating area that is separate from the ordering area. It also has a nice outdoor patio and it’s in the superb neighborhood of Thornton Park so it’s great people and pup watching! I have had nothing but fabulous service here the couple of times I have dined in and ordered take out. I am a huge fan of their nachos but I recently discovered their toastadas and they are delicious.

We usually go to the Flats on S. Orlando and it is always a great experience. We were in the area and decided to try the one on Summerlin, and we were very disappointed. Great service but bad food. Fish tacos smelled too fishy and the guacamole was brown. Salsa tasted like it was made the day before or it came from a can. I really like T. Flats and usually have a good experience, but this location really lets the quality slip.

I don’t normally endorse chain restaurants so heavily, but Tijuana Flats is based locally, unique and for the most part, consistent both in quality of food as well as the service. No, it’s not authentic Mexican food, and every time I read a review of this place or any other similar restaurant where someone inevitably points out its inauthenticity in a negative manner, I just want to scream, «DON’T YOUREALIZEHOWOBLIVIOUSYOUSOUND?» Anyway, having moved to the neighborhood a few months back and since nachos would probably be my last meal if I were on death row, I’m here quite a bit. It’s always been tasty. Bonus points for crushed ice.
