I fell in love with bubble tea when I moved to Orlando a couple of years ago. sweet gummy tapioca pearls and delicious flavors such as taro, honeydew, and lychee. There are many places in orlando to order such beverages, however, after trying KFT I cannot rightfully order a boba anywhere else. FRESHFRUIT! Every other place I’ve been to uses artificial powders and syrups, but Kung Fu Tea keeps it real with fresh ingredients & customizable levels to fit my every want & desire. Options, options, options! Sometimes though, I don’t like having to pick & choose, so I ask Li what her favorite is and her recommendations never dissapoint! I’m usually a taro milk tea guy, but I recently tried the very berry green tea and it was a game-changer. There are a couple of seasonal items as well, like red bean and hot taro, which I can’t wait to try. Very clean establishment. Super fast service, even when it’s crowded, accompanies a courteous, kind, and considerate staff. Will return again & again!

Yum!!! This boba tea reminds me of the boba tea shops in CA. The drinks are very customizable, you can make the perfect drink for you!!! I love the original black milk tea with boba and 30% sweeten and the unsweetened Oolong Cha with boba. If you have never tried boba tea, I highly recommend you check out this place! The boba here is ADDICTING!!! Nice and bouncy balls!!! heh. They also offer a whole bunch of other hand crafted drinks, there’s something for everyone!

Honestly this is the best boba place in town! It’s a little pricier than the other places I have gone to but you get what you pay for. Rather than being sweetened by a simple syrup or fructose it’s done with honey which makes the boba so delicious! It’s perfectly chewy and bouncy and most of all fresh! Other places I guess overlook or let their boba pearls sit and they become overly glutinous and kind of gross to eat — or he alternative not cooked enough and hard still. I love Kung Fu Tea! I would give them more stars if I could! The staff is always friendly and nice, and the boba is perfect. Try less sweet if you find traditional shops too overbearing for you!:)

This is my new favorite boba tea joint! With diabetes flying around our country like the Zika mosquitos, you can avoid this horrifying BB King disease by choosing different sugar levels for your order. Situated in a dark seedy rapey robby murdery plaza, Kungfu Tea may be harder to find than UCF students in the library during spring break. But when you do, you will be awarded with yummy yummy drinks in your tummy tummy! My only gripe is the Chinese American employees in a Chinese-martial-arts-named boba tea shop blasting Korean Pop music displaying… Parisian decors. Guys, if you are gonna go with Asian themes, go all the way like Miley Cyrus on a first date. But the drinks are ultimately what is important! And they taste wonderful! I recommend the iced signature coffee or the taro milk tea. Been there four times and have yet to try a bad drink. And make sure you get a coupon card so you can get your holes punched in like Miley Cyrus on a first date!

I am not a Boba fan but Kung fu tea is so awesome Fruit flavored teas are the best and these tea infusions are done to perfection!!! Red beans slush… Very berry green tea… nuff said!!! Only problem I have is they close to early because usually when I wake up… they’re about to close, but when I do catch them they’re awesome!!!

I was so happy to hear they opened up a new boba tea place near UCF. I love that they have games as well so it’s a cool spot to hang out. I got the strawberry lemon green tea with boba and it’s so refreshing. Would recommend coming here

Boba made your way! I love the fact that there are varying levels of sugar you can choose for your boba. I like to get 50% sugar as it adds just the right of sweetness and the sugar doesn’t over power the taste of the boba. The boba is very fresh! I tired a new drink — Red Bean Slush. I was a little hesitant at first but it was delicious! Reminded me of the Korean red bean ice cream bars. Seating is limited within the store but love the clean, open, and friendly atmosphere.

A delicious and authentic bubble tea spot. Certain to satisfy your bubble tea cravings for the day. The one thing that stood out to me about this place versus other bubble tea cafes is the variety of choices in both styles and toppings you can do. I had the milk green tea cap with pudding via a recommendation from the very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious and not something I’ve been able to catch often in the Orlando area so worth a try if you like bubble tea like drinks. The space itself is very quaint and clean. I’ll next have to try some of their pastries and snacks offered, they had things like tiny macrons and hot dog baos.

I went here tonight to hang out with a friend, and it was our first time coming to Kung Fu Tea. We usually frequent The Chewy Boba Company, but after our visit here, I would have to say that this is our new favorite place for bubble tea. It’s simply delicious! She ordered the red wow tea; I wasn’t quite sure what it was, but she really enjoyed it. I ordered the matcha milk tea, which is my favorite flavor, and it tasted just the way I like it. It’s a very basic flavor, but it’s surprising how difficult it is to find a place that will make it «just right»(not too bitter, yet not too sweet); Kung Fu Tea made it perfectly! It’s for that reason that I’ll keep coming back because now I must try all of the other flavors :) They also sell snacks in case you’re feeling a bit peckish; my friend bought herself a generous size pork bun, which she said was pretty tasty. As for the atmosphere, it was really nice and cozy. The interior had a very warm look to it and was cutely decorated. It definitely didn’t look like a pastel explosion in there(like most other boba places), so that was refreshing. There were plenty of places to sit, but it wasn’t crowded so you can still have a private conversation with someone without others hearing you. It’s just a great place to hang out in general, plus the bubble tea is amazing, so it’s a win-win situation. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area! :)

I’ve been to Kung Fu Tea in Queens in New York City, and liked it since then. And I’m so glad that they opened a new one next to UCF. The worker there are so nice and very willing to answer your questions. I ordered Taro Milk Green Tea and it was soooo good. I’m probably going to get it regularly. You can custom your drink with different toppings, sugar level, and ice level, which is much better than other boba tea places. Definitely recommend it to my friends.

Easily some of the best bubble tea that I have ever had. Wide menu variety and lots of extras that can be added into any beverage. Super friendly staff and nice seating area inside. Just be prepared to spend $ 5 for a drink… which is definitely worth it in this case!

As a resident of Orlando and a Vietnamese American, Boba is my favorite dessert/drink. This place Beats every other boba place by far. The boba are so soft and chewy, basically perfect. I would definitely go to this location over the rest!

We’ve been to other Kung Fu Tea shops in New York & Chicago, and had such high hopes for this location since the others were so good. After visiting this shop multiple times, I have yet to find a drink I actually like. Every time I try something it ends up being thrown away or I give it to my boyfriend to finish. One of the drinks I tried was the Orange Green Tea. I tasted real orange and not like a syrup flavoring, which is different than many of the other shops around here. However one of the problems with using real orange is how sour it can get, especially if the white rind bits are left in the mixture. I could see tiny bits floating around in my cup, and could taste it. This was one of the drinks that neither my boyfriend or I could finish. He did love his Milk Green Tea Cap, which was a salty and foamy drink. I do like that they have customization of the drinks. So you can choose ice levels, and how sweet you want the drink. Overall I think its«ok» compared to the other boba shops and I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I can tell that they are known for the milk teas because they are pretty good; I really enjoyed my taro green tea. However, upon ordering fruit or plain teas I began to see their weakness. I’ve ordered a jasmine tea and a mango green tea on two separate occasions and not liked either of them. The tea is extremely bitter and I noticed all the tea is already pre-made and sitting in canisters for who knows how long. The boba itself was ok but definitely a little on the tough side. Overall, I got my hopes up for a new location close to home but it was underwhelming.

I enjoy the natural and traditional flavors this place has to offer. I ordered the red wow milk, not what I was expecting but still enjoyable. It can be kind of bland to some people. But I think that’s what draws me to come back. I don’t feel like drinks are too heavy or too sweet and artificial like other places. It is really pricy, though. A medium is about $ 5 and a large would be about $ 6. Not sure if the drinks are worth that price but it is what it is. So far I’ve tried the yogurt orange, Oreo milk tea and red wow milk. Might have to try more because I haven’t found one drink that I’ll keep coming back for, but I’ll give the drinks points for being very natural and fresh. Boba texture is good but I’ve had better in town.

I’m hardly ever on the East Orlando side of town, but if I’m ever craving Boba this is a great spot. The amount of flavors and options for toppings can be a little overwhelming, but their staff was helpful answering questions. The big pro to this place, unlike other Boba places is that customization. No ice, or low levels of sweetness are all available so you can create your ideal Boba experience. The only negative is that they aren’t using proper use of their space. Certainly college kids will be flocking to come here and the seating is very limited, so I hope soon they add more seating.

The bubble tea here is *fantastic*. My boyfriend and I are die-hard Chewy Boba Company fans(to the point where our visits have probably paid for a month or two of their rent…), so when we heard that a new bubble tea shop had opened, we had to go check out the competition. I have to admit… If we lived any closer to the UCF area, I would probably be writing this review from inside their store. A few points: — Boba is firm, chewy, and lightly sweetened. It’s the perfect texture, and it’s obvious that they’re not recycling the previous night’s batch.(Granted, they’ve only recently opened, so mileage may vary when the hype has died down.) — Drinks are worth the price. I have a tendency to stick to plainer drinks(simple green tea, black tea, or oolong would make me happy), so it occasionally pains me to shell out $ 4 – 5 for 50 cents worth of tapioca or jelly and a drink that I could have essentially brewed at home. Here? Even simple drinks like the Peach Oolong or Lychee Black Tea came with tiny chunks of fruit. It’s a nice and thoughtful addition, and the price is already inclusive. :) — You can choose the level of sweetness! I love bubble tea, but I don’t really love diabetes. Most bubble tea shops only offer one or two levels of sweetness(it’s sweet or it’s not, and even if you ask for half sweet, it still tastes like a 6 year old’s dream beverage). At KFT, I read 6 choices for sweetness levels ranging from 0% to 120%. Half sweet was just right for me. — You can get your drinks hot! I know that the cold front is already ending, but at least you have the option of getting warm bubble tea when it’s freakishly cold. The only other time I had that option available to me was in NY. — Even without additional flavoring, the tea is perfect and can shine on its own. For fans of unflavored tea, you actually have OPTIONS here! I highly recommend trying out KFT. Sorry, Chewy, looks like I’ll be paying for KFT’s rent from here on out. :’(

This is my new go-to place for milk tea! I’ve always enjoyed drinking KFT while visiting UF and USF, as well as in Queens, NYC. I was delighted to hear that they opened a new store right across the street from UCF! What I like about this place is the cozy, hipster-esque vibe that makes it a great place to study, or just hang out with friends. It’s extremely clean and there’s not too much decoration going on inside that it gets obnoxious. There’s also free wifi: D In addition, KFT boasts the best quality of boba in Orlando, at least in my opinion. The texture is just right, and the edges of the boba are never broken apart like I’ve experienced at other places. And the flavor is just heavenly… quite sweet and refreshing on a hot Orlando day. But that’s not to detract from the quality of the tea itself. Each tea drink is based off of Kung Fu Tea’s signature Black, Green, or Oolong Tea blends, which each are extremely fragrant. Personally, I think the Green Tea is a little strong for some peoples tastes, but it really depends on the type of drink. Unlike other boba places in the city, I don’t get the feeling that I’m being overwhelmed by sugary, artificial powders that flavor the beverages. Instead, the taste is very replicative of boba/milk teas I’ve tried in China. Which makes sense, because it looks like this is a Chinese founded business. To be honest, some may find the milk cap teas and yogurts a bit strong for their tastes. Not to worry, most of the normal milk teas have a flavor that is more mild but all as much satisfying! Yet another substantial selling point is the ability to add extra sugar or less sugar than usual. In addition, the equipment, coffee machines, shaker machines are all top of the line. Even with all the fancy machinery, the pricing stays decent. So with that being said, some of my favorites include: Oreo Milk Tea, Oolong Milk Tea, Red Bean Matcha, and any drink with the delicious Herbal Jelly. But what’s my opinion to you. Have a break in between classes? Go give them a try!

This is the best boba place. I can’t get enough of their red bean wow milk! I’m so glad they have a new location near UCF. The only time I could get any is when I’m in Tampa and that is such an inconvenience. They also make the best taro milk tea. Other places make it taste too powdery. I usually don’t like taro but this place makes it right.

I’m really glad that they open a ucf location. Been craving Kung Fu Tea drinks since I went to the Chicago location in the summer. This location is nice and cozy to chill at with friends. Nice atmosphere. There’s variety of drinks to choose and there’s some food on the side you can choose such as salad, some Asian pastries. My boyfriend and I ordered coffee milk tea with pudding toppings and Oreo milk tea with pudding toppings. Since today’s grand opening, they have their grand opening promotion; buy one get one free(only large size). Really good deal. My friend ordered yogurt green tea drink. It doesn’t really taste like green tea and it tastes like the Asian yogurt drink(not the American yogurt snack). It has that Asian yogurt taste in the end. It was alright to me. If you don’t really like the Asian yogurt drinks, don’t order any of their yogurt drinks. Pudding with Oreo milk tea is good but I preferred with boba or no toppings at all. Their bobas taste good and have the right texture. Worth to spent 50 cents more. Defiantly coming back here. Defiantly completion with Chewy now. Drinks that I tried that are good: Coffee milk Taro green tea Passion fruit green tea Mango slush Kung fu milk green tea Oreo milk tea Matcha red bean(Green tea slush with red beans on the bottom) Mango green tea Oolong tea Kung fu milk tea
