It’s LaSpadas! What more can you say? It’s all good. I don’t live in philly, so I can’t comment on how great their cheesesteaks are. But they are delicious. Certainly the best I’ve had and better than anything from Pittsburg. It’s not a romantic location. It’s not a happening area. Just step inside and experience LaSpadas. Made with love.

Nothing to write home about. Hot curly fries and unseasoned Cheese steak. Place needs to be remodeled and wouldn’t hurt to clean the floors and tables too. I work in the food industry, and help open up restaurants for big chain restaurants. Saddened that my 1st will be my last time at this location at least. Here for a few days, and was told to come here by owner of Yogurtland. Maybe he got good quality food, but I surely didn’t!!!

One of the best cheese steaks I have had in Orlando. Friendly staff that focuses on quality even in the middle of the lunch rush. I’m a big fan of their 10 inch cheese steak combo which comes with a soda and fries. Their hot peppers are great as well.

Mine will be a very unpopular review, but I’m just going to have to put it out there: During my one visit to LaSpada’s, I just don’t think it lived up to all the hyperbole. «The 900-square-foot-anchor tenant? Yes, yes, I can totally see that, since during my visit the little shop was crammed full of a bustling lunch crowd, in an otherwise lackluster and old shopping center. One of the BEST«restaurants» in Florida? NO. The BEST sub and most authentic Philly Cheesesteak sandwich out there? Ehmmmmm… Idunnoboutallthat. Perhaps this LaSpada’s had an off day, or maybe my expectations were just crazy high, but I was really hoping to be blown away by my Cheesesteak sandwich and fries here. It just didn’t happen. My food, while as fresh as can be and very tasty, just didn’t indelibly imprint itself in my mind as that fabulous. The fries were hot and fresh but very under-seasoned. In a similar vein, so was my cheesesteak. The meat was very tender, almost ground-meat soft(I didn’t love that texture) and needed more salty, seasoned goodness to it. The bread was very nice, soft and fresh, but almost too soft, since such a meaty sandwich requires a pretty sturdy vehicle to transport it from wrapping to mouth, IMHO. The overall sandwich seemed… dry and bland, like it was screaming for a creamier cheese or — dare I say it — a cheese sauce. I don’t like my cheesesteaks slathered in mayonnaise, dammit, but the sandwich just needed more of a moisture factor. I love when the steam and juices from the meat slightly soften and moisten a chewy but crusty roll au jus-like, mingling with the melted cheese(lots of Provolone for me, please) to create that luxuriously saucy, flavorful consistency that makes a cheesesteak such a luscious guilty pleasure. That was all missing in my LaSpada’s sammie. Aaaaaand here’s the conclusion that is going to really make this review an outlier: I immensely prefer *GASP* Penn Station’s Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and fresh-cut fries.

Whenever I crave a good Italian hoagie this is where I come. You can’t go wrong with the 8 inch Italian special with fries

I have been looking for a deli like this ever since I moved to Orlando… finally found it! I got the Italian 12″ and this thing is a meat monster! can’t wait to go back and try the philly, they looked bomb on the grill.

Hands down the best Philly cheese steaks in town! I literally have probably had a cheesesteak from anywhere you can think of. This is by far the BEST! Best quality in meat, portion, ingredients, bread, pricing, customer service, literally everything about this place is great!

Best cheesesteak in Orlando. I’ve only been here a couple times, and always get a cheesesteak because that is their specialty, and they are excellent. Overall the place is more or less a greasy sandwich spot, offering French fries as the standard side item. They do have some deli sandwiches as well, although I’ve never tried them. The staff is very friendly, and it’s a small indoor seated area. I generally get my food to-go, and end up with a greasy bag of fries and sandwich. But that’s what I’m after when I come here. The bread is delicious, meat terrific, price is right, and staff is nice. What’s not to like?

Look no further for the best cheesesteak in town. However you like it they make it. The Italian sub has so much meat that it literally covers up the sub, so if you look at it from above all you see is meat, the bread has been buried underneath layers of meat. hahaha. genius. Working class portions and attitude here, don’t show up expecting –anything– but good sandwiches.

Great tasting hoagie s stuffed fully 8; 10; 12 inch. Little on the pricey side but worth it. Good fries. Philly theme décor throughout. Not fancy. But good food.

I had the Philly cheese steak combo, now for the price I paid I expected the sub to be loaded like a giant jersey mikes sub, even though it wasnt there was no disappointment here friendly staff awesome food. My experience at that sub shop was 10/stars but I could only rate 5.

Best cheesesteak and hoagies in Orlando. Period. It’s a dive — and not super appealing from a visual aesthetic stand point. But don’t let the rugged interior/exterior of the place fool you. This place is legit. I just visited Philly and couldn’t help comparing the cheesesteaks to La Spada’s — it’s the closest thing to Philly but with far better service. I would often take work colleagues here for work and they were always impressed with the food quality. The cold hoagies are so big you’ll probably half enough left over for a second meal. A bit more pricey than other place(by a few bucks) but worth every penny.

Seriously regret not having heard about this place sooner! Sure $ 10.00 +/-is a lot for a hoagie but these are the BEST and BIGGEST in Orlando. Have enjoyed 4 – 5 previously and all were well worth every cent. HUGE !! Just imagine cradling a football on your forearm. Big enough for a meal(or 2) and/or a snack left over. I had the«Famous»($ 13 w/tip) yesterday. In my opinion, the best of Italian choices. Did I say«HUGE» ??? La Spada has been busy every visit and staff is always hustling and friendly. Just like any neighborhood place in Philly. All previous selections have been«to go»(cold) but am very much looking forward to dining in and enjoying a cheesesteak or something else from the grill. It’s always nice to find a place with good food, good service and good value. A dying breed in today’s world. La Spada ISTHEBESTINORLANDO regardless of what OW says.

The prices are okay, the food was solid(I wish you had more control over what they put on the sub, maybe if I had said something I could have gotten the sub the way I like it). The cheesesteak is decent, nothing fancy, but hits the spot when it’s what you want, and I liked the fries. The problem is that A) the food took forever to come out, we waited probably 20 – 30 minutes for that order, and B) the place is filthy. There were at least 3 roaches that I saw. I killed one of them, the guy behind me smushed another and the third roach was smart enough to crawl all the way up the wall in front of me before anyone could kill it. And even if the place didn’t have roaches, it’s clear no one cleans the tables, there were crumbs and such everywhere(hence the roaches), it was disgusting. If the food was amazing I would gladly put up with it, or get the food to go, but it wasn’t good enough to deal with this. Publix bread and toppings are better(I did like a few of the specialty meats on my sub that you can’t get at Publix), but otherwise I would rather watch them make it and be able to customize it and eat without thinking about how many roaches I didn’t see.

4 Stars for a solid Philly cheesesteak that’s no frills– just as it should be! This spot is located in a pretty sad strip mall off of Lee Rd. you would never notice it if it weren’t for word of mouth or Unilocal.Once you enter, it’s still pretty divey– with lots of Philly images and signed celebrity photos, many faded and slightly torn/dirty, and peeling paint. Could it use a major sprucing up? Absolutely. Does it do the job? Hell yeah. I ordered a classic Philly and had my food in minutes. I’ll echo other reviews in praise for really good bread that doesn’t get too soggy from the inevitable grease. The meet is very thin(almost looks like ground beef) and pretttttty darn flavorful. I was full after a few bites but something deep inside was stirred and I ended up almost eating the full thing(it’s BIG). One note is that it’s all about the meat on this sub! it comes with white American cheese, but if you’re a cheese lover make sure to order extra. My fella was a little bummed that there wasn’t more in there, but I thought it was the perfect amount. The grilled onions were a bit slim as well, so don’t expect excessive toppings. Overall, this place may not be pretty, but they serve a solid sandwich!

This place is worth the drive from Titusville! The hoagies are huge! The meat is cut fresh for each sandwich. My daughter loves the Philly Cheese Steak and my son loves the Meatball Hoagie. Great food!

This place is very good! I stopped here for lunch just to check out what the hype was lol. To my surprise this place was very good I ordered a large mushroom cheesesteak. It was a generous portion of steak. The customer service was okay. A lil pricey but in my opinion it’s definitely worth it. I will be going back soon.

Yesssss. I love these sandwiches! It’s in a strip mall off of Lee Rd. but honestly, I could care less about the ambiance because it’s so darn good. Their bread is my favorite part of these sandwiches– soft and pillowy goodness. They load the heavenly bread with tons of meat and veggies to create a pretty stellar sub, hoagie, whatever you wanna call it. Oh and they serve curly fries. Come on, how could you NOT love this place?!

This my go-to Philly Cheesesteak restaurant. I now compare all Phillies to this place. Nothing fancy but a good sandwich and pride of Philly’s from the owner and employees. It’s next to McDonald’s on Lee Rd.(West of I-4) in a shopping plaza. I do means, nothing fancy. Too good to be fancy LOL
