The eggs are halfway decent. Their oatmeal is the blandest I’ve ever had even with fruit on it. The potatoes were quite hard and seemed almost reheated from the day before. The pancakes also leave a little to be desired, but they aren’t terrible. It’s nice to have a breakfast place in the area, but it could be so much better.

Solid diner breakfast, authentically nice waitress, decent coffee, inexpensive… We’re staying near here and this will likely be our go-to for breakfasts. We had the pigs in blanket and French Toast… Totally fine /solid. Uncomplicated /unpretentious.

Well Orange County jury duty service is certainly a bonus for Leo! I tried their simple hamburger with cheese and upgraded onion rings. Cooked right and all fresh sides made for a simply good lunch served on time. — So much better than the Courthouse options(see picture) LOL! This was a good burger to the last bite and the onion rings rated a 6 on the crunchy scale. A honey mustard dip would have been a plus. If there is ever an opportunity to visit again, I’d spend some quality research time with the Unilocal reviews and go for the most praised staple they offer. I mean really, what the heck was I doing sitting around waiting to be called for«duty» before the lunch recess? Rats! I think I could have had something more unique to their fame us all.

Solid choice steps from the Orange County Courthouse. It sits among a few reasonable lunch spots(Chinese, Italian, Mexican) in the area. I wanted something that wasn’t too heavy and decided on this place since there was still some open tables available. I had a limited time for lunch so I didn’t really browse the menu thoroughly. But it seems to be your usual array of burgers, sandwiches and all American fare. I went with the turkey burger and subbed with sweet potato fries which are extra. Food came out quickly, was good but I could tell it was straight out of the freezer. The patty was bigger than the bun. Sweet potato fries were regular cut and cooked perfectly, not too soggy and not too crispy. My server was very friendly and when I told her I had a limited amount of time, she made sure my order came out quickly. Overall this place is a good choice for a quick meal. I actually mentioned that I wish they had an option like this place on the opposite end of Orange near City Hall since we have much fancier dining on that end. Sometimes it’s just nice to get in, eat and get out!

Nice little diner in downtown Orlando. Very friendly staff. Had the country skillet, pretty good sausage gravy. Definitely the spot for some yummy breakfast food.

Had jury duty today and they are just a couple minutes from the courthouse. Lots of seating inside and a couple tables outside. I had the mushroom and swiss burger. Excellent burger and fast friendly service. Just what I was hoping for. They have many other comfort food selections on their menu too. Solid lunch option in the courthouse area.

I enjoy the simple things. Chili and a turkey sandwich on a cold Florida day. Turkey with bacon, sure why not, I’m only human. Bacon was way overcooked. It was hard, jabbing me in the gums like a five year old with a stick, and it was mostly flavorless due to being overcooked. The sandwich itself was barely staying together with everything running for its life out of the soft hold of the bread. When I ask for mayo on my sandwich, please just put it on there. Don’t put in a container for me to do later. I’m paying a handsome price for it, don’t make me do all the work. The chili was not bad. Could use a little more punch of spicy and less huge chunks of ground beef. The price of my lavish meal $ 12 without a drink. I did not know that turkey sandwiches were sold at market price like lobster. The staff was nice, but the cooks keep rejecting orders back due to insufficient information. IE what type of bread, how do they want their hamburger cooked. That was all in the 5 minutes I was there.

I’ve been here before it was ok however I’m really unpleased with the food I was given today, probably the grossest food I’ve ever tasted, all GMO of course. Everything was either undercooked or burnt. I will never eat here again, I wouldn’t recommend it. Sorry

As others have reviewed, Leo’s is a family owned diner serving up simple sandwiches and salads with plenty of greasy items. Because of its proximity to the courthouse we usually eat here during trial periods. The food is consistent, very very reasonably priced, quick and always friendly service. Luckily I don’t work downtown or I could easily see myself putting on 29 pounds ordering the grilled ham and cheese with sweet potatoe fries on a weekly basis. Some other favorites have been the burger, tuna melt, and chicken sandwhich. Lunch meals are usually around $ 8.00 with one side, ie fries, sweet potatoe fries, chips, coleslaw, beans. Leo’s is a nice downtown diner that is worth stopping in for a simple and inexpensive lunch with friendly service.

The only good part of my meal was the blackened seasoning on the paper thin chicken I was given for my sandwich. The bed of lettuce on my sandwich was twice the size of the toughest chicken I’ve ever eaten. The staff was very pleasant, but not pleasant enough to distract from the food.

My co-workers and I visited Leo’s Diner based on Heather McPherson’s write up in the Sentinel. I have to say, the food was just average. I had a grilled cheese and fries, both were nothing special. I’m unsure if I will return.

I have been to Leo’s Diner a few times in the past. Their food is very comfort food style. Prepared just like it would’ve been in the old diner days. The food is always delicious, tastes just like you would make it home. Actually, it’s better than you would make it home. The servers are always very friendly and caring. But, today while I was there a homeless man come in to buy breakfast. Yes, actually buy breakfast. Since the diner is in downtown, you would think that the waitress would be tired of seeing homeless people. But this waitress was very kind and courteous and friendly to this homeless man that came in. Her kindness prompted me to pay for the homeless man’s meals(anonymously, of course). You know what they say pay it forward. It’s a good comfortable place to go for breakfast or lunch when you’re downtown near the corner of Orange and Robinson, or before or after church on Sunday. They’re open from 8AM until 1PM on Sunday.

Greasy, sticky, low quality. This place is convenient to the courthouse, which is probably why it is still in business, but I always opt to eat lunch at my desk over joining others at Leo’s. Why? Because leftovers from meals cooked by my average kitchen skills are more desirable. Everything is greasy. The air of the restaurant is actually saturated with the smell of grease. Side salads are just a handful of lettuce in a bowl, dining options are greasy spoon items, and the desserts are disappointing. Keep walking, there is hope for better food down the road.

Nice place for a good lunch. I had the buffalo chicken salad and it was very good. I think we lucked out with the crowd as it was almost empty the day we went for lunch. My wife got a sandwich and really liked it. I could have ordered 5 things on their menu but opted for the salad this time, so at least I know I’ll have choices the next time I head out here. We were in and out with plenty of time for a work lunch break. I’ll come back and try something else next time!

We were downtown and intended to go someplace else for breakfast. Since it was closed Unilocal to the rescue. We found Leo’s just down the road. Leo’s is a nice 50’s style American comfort food joint. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and it wasn’t busy, but it was later in the morning. I sat down for the biscuits and gravy combo with bacon, hashbrowns, and grits. The biscuits were soft and big, and the gravy was spicy sausage gravy. Delish! My wife went for a pancake combo and they were light and fluffy. Overall, it was not bad and the price was decent even though it is right downtown off of Orange. The service was good. Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast.

Had a one night in Orlando, and, after an adventurous night on the town the evening before, my companion and I were in desperate need of diner food. Typed ‘diner’ into Unilocal!and this came up. It was easy to find, close to where we were, and we were able to park right in front. We were greeted by a pleasant waitress and her trainee, and drinks came to us quickly. Food was pretty good. I had a skillet; my companion opted for a more typical breakfast plate(scrambled eggs and all that). Although my sausage gravy lacked all the flavor I usually enjoy, I was unable to complete the whole meal and felt completely sated by the end. I was happy with my experience. Décor was just fine, unobtrusive and pleasant, and the service was good. Price was great,. Nothing exceptional, and nothing I was unhappy about. I will definitely come here again if I’m in the area, but I hesitate to make it a recommendation for out of town friends, simply because I don’t think it’s worth going out of your way for. Most importantly, however, our waitress did keep our coffees full which is a great way to start a road trip.

Went to Leo’s Diner after Mass on a Sunday morning. I had the Greek omlette. it was full of gyro meat and cheese topped off with feta, an ocean of home fries and a biscuit as big as a saucer. It was so much food that I did not have any lunch that day. Can’t wait to go to church next week!!!

When summoned for Jury Duty, there’s not a lot of options for lunch; you have limited time and you can’t move your car(unless you want to pay for parking). I ventured out of the court house and walked towards Livingston, where a man was handing out menus for Leo’s Diner. The prices were reasonable, and the distance was more than manageable on foot. The restaurant is small, sparsely decorated, and yet it had a warm and inviting feeling. While the menu boasts the tagline of «Comfort Food,» it was really more of a diner — burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, salads, etc. The service was great and quick and the food was pretty decent(the burger was good, but the fries were pretty flavorless). Is this a place I’ll return to? Probably not, as I don’t live in the area; however, if I have Jury Duty again, then it is a definite contender ;)

Leo’s is a clean and friendly little diner just steps away from the Orange County Courthouse. We were greeted warmly as we walked in, hungry after waiting approximately 423 years to get a marriage license and sitting in a cramped waiting room with strange people coughing on me. The menu is full of tried-and-true fare, and I opted for the club sandwich with onion rings. The onion rings were huge, and the dipping sauce hit the spot, but the sandwich was just okay. Generally, when you order a club sandwich it’s on larger-than-average bread because… well, think about taking a slice of bread from a normal store-bought loaf and cutting it into fourths. You’re left with some REALLY tiny wedges. That’s what was done here, and the result was disappointing and inconvenient. The sandwich itself was too small and the wedges fell apart immediately upon trying to pick them up because they were just too narrow. The sandwich tasted okay but wasn’t different or special. That said, I have been here once before and I remember being happier with my selection then, but it was over a year ago and I don’t remember what I ate so I can’t really base part of my review on that. I can say that I would go back to try something else — just not the club sandwich again.
