The events and atmosphere is what makes this place. Great events throughout the week and a fun adult GLBT with lots of straight people as well atmosphere. The food is not great. Everything is just OK. I had the meatloaf and you could tell it was old and they microwaved it. The end was as hard as a rock and crunchy. Their Burgers are the only thing that is just ok. go for the events and not the food.

In 2012, I was in Orlando with some friends and we made it a point to get on Church St. to hit up some of the hot bars. Before we decided to go anywhere, we all were starving and of course we were all craving burgers! Alas, as soon as we talked about it, Hamburger Mary’s popped up right in front of us and almost right down the road from one of the places were were going to visit. Let me start off by saying that I have been to Orlando many times, but we are all from out of state so we had no idea what we were walking in to. We quickly discovered as soon as we walked in that it was a gay-themed and LGBT-friendly burger restaurant. None of us fit in this category but yet we felt extremely comfortable here. To start, the staff greeting us with open arms. Despite it being late and close to their closing time, they were not about to turn away their potential costumers. We got treated with nothing but respect and we did the same in return(with a lot of joking around between everyone!). On top of this, the burgers were AMAZING! I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at how well they tasted and were cooked to perfection. In the end, I can definitely say that this is one place I’d come back to when I make it to Orlando again.

Drinks were good and a great location, we sat outside and there was reggae music playing on church street which was a plus. Our server was great. Fairly price food. Will return.

Giving this place 5 stars because I have nothing to complain about at all. We called to get a reservation in a Friday they were booked but we’re nice enough to call us back later that day when they had a cancellation. The host I believe his name was Alexander was so sweet got us seated right away. The waitress was great made sure we had food and drinks all night never disappeared on us. The burgers and fries were excellent burger was cooked as ordered medium juicy with great flavor. Now where they really get the 5th star is the show. We went to Facebook Friday and we laughed so hard my face hurt. These ladies are super entertaining and very quick with the comebacks. It will be a night of fun hilarious entertainment a great show. When we are back in town I will definitely be back with more people!

We were in town meeting a friend for dinner around the corner when we realized that the place we were originally going to was closed. I searched Unilocal!and found Hamburger Mary’s, I checked out their website and noticed that it was Drag Bingo night with reservations highly recommended. I called the restaurant and they were super accommodating to us! We were seated in the back of the restaurant(and we were even told this over the phone) but was offered to move closer to the front once people started no showing… we declined as we were comfortable where we were and knew we had to leave early anyways. I got a Strawberry Teaser Martini which was probably one of the better Martini’s I’ve ever had and my friend got a Bloody Mary which she said was also good. My dessert was a frozen peach daiquiri and while it was delicious, it was so sweet my husband had to finish it for me! We got nachos for an appetizer, they were good but nothing to write home about. We all got burgers for our entrée’s and they were delicious! We got the Mac Burger, the Gaucamole BJ and the Big Kahuna. The drag bingo was hilarious! I wish it would have gone a little faster than it was but I also understand it was a show. We had to leave after ‘straight’ bingo and wish we could have been there for at least one round of ‘gay’ bingo! Next time we are in town we will definitely be grabbing a bite and hopefully a show at Hamburger Mary’s!

My husband and I had a great experience at Hamburger Mary’s before heading to a magic game. Our server was very attentive and we received our drinks and dinners quickly. Throughout the meal I had several OTHER servers ask if I needed a refill. Usually it’s difficult to get your own server to do it. If the food and service wasn’t great enough… THISHAPPENED… After we paid our bill we sat idly talking and finishing our drinks when a man in a Magic jacket asked if we were going to the game. After responding yes, he proceeded to tell us that he was the owner of the restaurant and that although he bought tickets, he had to work that night instead. So, he offered us his CENTERCOURT8thROWTICKETS. I was beside myself. And this wasn’t just any game, this was Spurs vs. Magic. Long story short, great people, food and service. Can’t wait to go back.

Well… what was a bad situation with a disgruntled seater has been turned around completely by a warm hearted owner that knows what customer service really is. He did a quick, appropriate, & well thought out response that helped turn the situation completely around. Go try this place for a phenomenal atmosphere with great food and good service. Best night is Tuesday for Gay Bingo! The show is phenomenal but make sure to make a reservation! It sells out!

Make sure to call ahead for a reservation! What a blast! This place is awesome. If you are«open-minded» and love creative, quirky, but talented people, you need to be part of this dinner show. Food is great, service is great as well and the performers are very talented and dedicated to their performance.

Best hamburger in Orlando, hands-down. So much to choose from and everything was wonderful. I had the Taco Burger and sweet potato fries. The burger tasted like actual tacos and the fries were a happy medium of crispy and soft. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Super sweet server… drag queens… excellent burgers(you made a vegetarian eat a burger and like it). I felt completely comfortable, welcomed, and left entirely tooo full. Was perfect before hitting the downtown Orlando bar scene.

Food and staff fantastic. Royal Rumble Sunday seats available outside. Still have to wait on the wait list for eating inside. Doesn’t make sense. Poor management decision earns this rating.

+4 stars for the drag show, –1 for the food. I was told to get a hamburger but I was there for brunch so I wanted brunch food! I got the healthy Mary eggs benedict. The eggs were gross — not over cooked but not runny, they were grainy. The tomatoes were also grainy(as tomatoes tend to be in Florida) but the Benedict sauce wasn’t good either. So I ate the home fries which were good but pretty hard to mess up. The show was great! The queens were funny but I wasn’t worried about being picked out of the crowd for anything(unless I asked for it) and I felt very comfortable. I would definitely go back for another show! So fun!

Who is Mary? Can i meet Mary? What a fun concept you’ve developed. Food First off: menu full of funny double entendres – some jokes not so discreet. I ordered a meaty mushroom burger with a side of potato fries(extra 1.95). It wasn’t the best burger I’ve had, but it was what I expected. Plentiful toppings, juicy(I got med rare), and enormous. Sweet Potato fries rocked the meal. I wish there were special sauces to put on the burgers… or buns with more flavor. The gobbler burger, a seasonal burger of Thanksgiving love, was awesome. It had some sort of stuffing patty which was surprisingly well matched for the beef! Ask for extra cranberry mayo. He ordered a side of seasoned fries – crispy, lightly browned, and salted. Loved it. Shared a mojito with my fella. It was just right. Perfect amount of rum and club soda. Perfectly minty and limey. If you like yours sweeter ask for more sugar syrup or something. Atmosphere Swanky super colorful. Market lighting outdoors. Love the support for LGBTQ. Service Our server Kirk was geniune and kind. Cant believe how calm he was. We came in during a super busy time for the restaurant while the rest of DT Orlando was still waking up. Location Located in the super chic part of downtown with market lighting and plenty of outdoor spots. A circle of restaurants right at the end of the Church Street Bar strip. I’m not a big fan of restaurants, stores, or hangout spots near train tracks. What if you’re drunk? What if you’re with a belligerent drunkard? The train is super loud but oh gosh. Accidents waiting to happen! I really want to come back and experience a comedy or drag show. And a dessert. And a cocktail. And the appeteasers. Lots to experiment at this location!

This location is consistent with other locations. The service is a little spotty(it took away to be seated although there were very few customers there) but extremely cordial and welcoming. The menu is large in variety and combinations. The Guacamole BJ(bacon and Jack cheese) was very satisfying. The Mashed Potatoes were fine.

Mama wanted to go for a fix at Hamburger Mary’s since we were already downtown. When we arrived, there was already a show in progress. There were only a few seats left and we were quickly seated. Mama started off with a Bloody Mary and unsweet tea with lime for me. My wife chose the Spicy Mary with Sweet Potato Fries and I chose the Guacomole BJ with regular fries and a side of cole slaw. I ordered my burger medium and so did my wife. While waiting for our food we watched the show and I have to admit, the show was quite entertaining. Some of the performers would lip sync and some were actually singing. One of the singers was named Vanessa and she had an incredible voice. The performer named The Minx had the entire place in stitches. That was a truly entertaining show. Now for the food… My wife’s burger was cooked to perfection but the jalapeño’s did not seem to have as much kick as I was expecting. Fresh jalapeño’s would have been a nice touch. My burger was a bit undercooked. I chose not to send it back because a rare burger is not a big deal to me. Other that it being rare and not medium, it was delicious. It would be nice if they prepared their fries fresh instead of using pre-frozen fries. The coleslaw was just your basic cole slaw. During our meal our server only never made it back to the table until after I had finished my burger. I let her know about it being undercooked and showed her a pic I took of my burger. She apologized and offered to take care of it but it was just not that big a deal to me personally. To someone that does not like a rare hamburger, it would have been a big deal. I am sure that if the show was not going on she would have made it to our table long before I finished my burger so I am taking that into account. I also found out long after we left that I should have double checked my receipt. I was overcharged for my wife’s meal. I should have made sure my bill was correct at the time and even though is was only a mistake of $ 1.95… I was still overcharged… Service — 3(bill was not correct) Atmosphere — 5 Performers — 4 Singers — 5 Bloody Mary — 5(according to the wife) My burger — 3(4 if it had not been undercooked) Wife’s Burger — 4 Fries — 3(Fresh made would be nice) Sweet Potato Fries — 3(Fresh made would be nice) Coleslaw — 3 It bugs me to only give 3 stars because their show was very entertaining BUT… My bill was incorrect, my burger was undercooked and not offering fresh made fries, just a basic slaw and not using fresh jalapenos drags down the customer experience. I suspect that we’ll be back because I want to try The Black Jack, Taco Burger and Bleu Boy Burger…

After recently moving from Orlando, I miss places like this along with Church street in general. Love the energy and atmosphere this place has and how friendly everyone was. The burgers are consistently good and I never had bad service. Wait times can get lengthy, but what do you expect when it’s always packed?

So I heard about this place from my nephew… All he had to say was BROADWAYBRUNCH! The décor is Loud and fabulous. The walls are pink with accent shades of the«rainbow»! It’s extremely quirky and fun! The food is good not great! It’s basically Diner food with full bar(that’s awesome) and coming from a chick born and raised in New Jersey, The Land of diners, all I can say was it was ok. I even had the fried Twinkies as recommended(too greasy, but good) Best end to your meal is the stiletto your check comes in! So cute! Now the reason you even go there is the show! Utterly amazing drag queen and company Broadway show! It was awesome! You can sing along and laugh your ass off at the jokes! Such talented company! My stars go to them and the friendly staff! It was a great Sunday! Food, drinks and Broadway! Tip: make sure u make a reservation because it gets packed quick!!!

Call in advance to get reservations. The spaces will fill up quickly! We get there and they seat us early. Since we’re no veterans to a drag brunch, we decided to go ahead and order our food kind of early. We ended up getting our food in less than 10 minutes. The food was very good.(I ordered the pot roast and it was just perfect.) The service was excellent. I noticed all of the servers seemed to be very pleasant, especially our’s. The show was great! It was a decent amount of time. I was disappointed Ginger Minj was not there, but the other entertainers made up for it! Some of them sang, some of them danced, it was just a great time. Also, make sure to bring some $ 1’s because they don’t work for free!

Solid burgers, not quite to the level of Oblivion or the Porch, but a very tasty burger none the less. I usually get the burger with BBQ sauce and an onion ring on it, but really any of their burgers are great. Also, their tots are fantastic, especially if you pay extra to have them put bacon and cheese on the tots, then they are just to die for. Service is always excellent and with a smile. Even when we’ve gone with about 15 people they still manage to get our party properly taken waited upon, which always surprises me when a place can do that. Lastly, one time I went there they had a special that was basically tots covered in cheese and bacon with basically buffalo chicken nuggets on it, man was it delicious. The chicken was tasty and still moist, and the heat from the buffalo sauce perfectly complemented the rest of the bowl. If you see it on the menu, get it, it was well worth it(and I believe it was only $ 7 or $ 8).

**UPDATE** If you are going to see the shows, please call ahead of time if you are bringing kids, I found out sometimes the shows are more adult friendly. When we went was on a Sunday, so maybe that show is more kid friendly then others. They have different shows daily. If you are looking for a fun place to eat, then you will want to come here! We actually choose this place by default since the place we wanted to eat at was not open yet. I had also seen good reviews by friends who come here anytime they are in Orlando. We got there a little before 12 for lunch and they were packed. Come to find out they have a brunch show review on Sundays so we had to sit outside because there was no room inside. That was fine with us since it was a beautiful day with a nice breeze and shade from the covered tables. We soon found out we had some good seats since the cast come in from the front for the shows, so we also got some great pictures of them before they went in. The waiter also told us they have daily shows, not sure of the times, but walking in there was like being transported to the 50’s era which I loved. For lunch we all got Milkshakes and burgers. The service was really good and they food was awesome! I got their special of the month which was the Jolly Green Burger. It was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. Will definitely be back for a show one day since we did not get to enjoy it all because we had just enough time to eat before heading to the train station.
