Having had Columbian burgers before, we wanted to try out this spot that we had bookmarked some time ago. Luckily we found street parking nearby, and took a short walk to this tiny restaurant located in a parking garage. I ordered their regular burger, and my husband ordered the Super burger which is the regular with the addition of egg and bacon. We made it a combo which comes with fries & a drink(canned drinks). Restaurant is very tiny, so seating, inside especially, is difficult to find. We were lucky to catch a small table outside in the shade. They appear to do a lot of to-go business too. Burgers are served on a terrific egg bun that held up to the juiciness and sauces held inside. Burger was very tasty, and the pink sauce was very good. Fries are regular — out of the bag — type of fries, so nothing special there, but they were served hot and crispy. We had ordered a side of the jalapeño relish($.50) and dipped our fries in that for a extra kick. All in all, a tasty lunch. Would stop by again if we are in the area.

We ended up at this place by accident and I am so glad we did. We both ordered the Super Rico Burger one with French fries and the other with yuca fried. This meal was heaven on a bun. The burger was cooked perfectly and the bacon added a great crunch. I order the French fries to be safe but ended up eating all of my boyfriends yuca fries(that was my first time eating yuca) and they were great but they were even better with the cilantro sauce(I wish it was sold in a jar). Not only was the food amazing it was affordable for two meal with beverage we spend about $ 22. That’s a great price for downtown sit down food. Lastly if you gonna have a Colombian meal you have to finish it off with a Colombian beverage. We tried colombiana and mazana. I really enjoyed the colombiana however the manzana was to sweet for me but my boyfriend loved it. I would definitely recommend.

Great food. I had the burger on the corn fritters, chicken empanada, yucca fries, & a water… all for less than $ 13. Amazing food at a great price! Highly recommend

This place is small, but the food is flavorful and sauces are amazing! Employees are super nice. If you love craft beer, the bar is conveniently right next door. I really enjoyed the patacon with beef. The arepica is a little on the spicy side for my taste. I would love to come back and try the burgers :)

Absolutely loved the Super Rico burger. Wasn’t sure what to expect with the egg… but it was phenominal. The yuca fries are the best. Don’t even waste your time on the regular fries… and the cilantro garlic sauce is the best!

Super Rico! The kind of place you look for, after a night of hard partying in Colombia, «open until 3 am on Friday and Saturday» or when you want to grab something quick. Place was clean, servers were nice, and the food was really good, good enough for five stars. We order Patacon con carne, Salchipapas, Pinchos de carne and yuca frita. The patacon was excellent as well as the Pinchos, the Salchipapas had a different salsa than the usual in Colombia but it was fine. The yuca was different, made of little sticks of yuca lightly breaded which gave it a little different taste. The chuzo was missing the arepa at the end but meat was well cook, tender and juicy. If you are Colombian looking for a place with the same flavor you had from the joint around the corner this is not your place. If you can deal with something nice with God tropical flavor go for it. I will come back!

Great authentic Columbian food! Indoor/Outdoor seating. Very tight quarters but it made for a cozy atmosphere. Food is well beyond the small price they charge. I’d eat here every week if I lived here.

This place is amazing! Very small seating area but we managed to squeeze a family of 4 including a stroller inside. Lots of different options including new takes on classics like hamburgers and hot dogs. Friendly staff and excellent food! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I love super Rico! One of my favorite hidden gems in downtown Orlando. The atmosphere is great! There’s always good music playing along with the«to die for» aroma of the kitchen. I usually get the super chicken which is their take on a traditional grilled chicken sandwich. In short it’s amazing. The chicken is cooked fresh so it take a little long to get the food then other places but it’s worth it. They add these delicious crunchy fry-like straws on top of chicken that make me crave this sandwich every week. My only complaint about this place is the size. It is very small and usually full during the lunch rush so my coworkers get our food to go. However, it still takes the same amount of time to get our food as it would if we sat there and ate. They get pretty busy but I’m promise it’s worth the short wait. Epic Colombian food. Love it

Interesting place to grab a burger. Went here based on the high rating on Unilocal. It was surprisingly small inside with seating for about maybe 12 – 15 people tops. Had outdoor seating available too. The food was different, and the burger toppings were unique. My burger was a little flat and overcooked, and the fries seemed like the frozen ore-Ida fries I make my kids. I had the Arepa burger, and it was interesting enough to go back, but I would try the Super burger or the original if I went back.

Super Rico is a downtown Gem that sits connected to a parking garage! Super Rico is fabulous for its grass fed beef, signature sauces, Gluten free options, and Colombian street food! When to go? This place is known as a late night place to grab some food after an evening of drinking. However, its also not a bad place to stop by for lunch if you work downtown! I’ve tried Super Rico both ways and glad to say that sober or not sober, its a W in my book! What to get? My go to items have generally been the Salchipapas and an order of their guac. The Salchipapas are an excellent late night order. The sauce combination with the fries and hotdog florets come together well. Their guacamole is a generous portion and comes with plenty of chips! Note: Their Guac has been known to be sold out so make sure you try some when its available. I’ve also tried the grilled skewers and they were pretty good! Overall, I’ll continue to keep trying items of the menu and update my review as I do! Hows the venue? As I stated before, its connected to a parking garage. The inside section is not very large and only has 3 tables for customers to sit at. However, there is an outdoor section which can hold at least 5 times more people. Hows the Staff? The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Every time I’ve been there they are always wanted to ensure that your meal is prepared right and to your liking. Keep up the good service! Tl;dr: Super Rico is a late night or casual lunch gem to check out for Colombian style street food. Give it a try!

4 Stars for insane(ly awesome) sauces and great service for folks new to Colombian-style burgers, hotdogs, and food. I’d been hearing about Super Rico for ages and finally got a chance to check it out. I love when a food truck makes a successful transition into a brick and mortar restaurant. The food truck serves as the real time incubator– helping a chef/business hone in on what works and what doesn’t work. The manager was there when I went in and he asked if I’d been there before. Upon hearing that I was a newbie he asked if I wanted him to go over the menu. He explained each dish, his favorites, and where the Colombian influence comes in. I went with his top pick– the Patacon. It’s fried plantains(not sweet plantains) serving as almost a flatbread with toppings including peppers, your choice of protein(I went with beef), and their trio of sauces. Dang– it was good! Now fried plantains with tons of sauce is a no-brainer, but the star was actually the beef. Cut in cubes it risked being overdone and chewy, but instead was seasoned heavily and tender. I saw the yucca fries, but wasn’t a fan of the unnatural shape they take– meant to look like a French fry. I prefer yucca to look like yucca. Otherwise it reminds me too much of the frozen yucca fries I’ve seen prepackaged. Overall, I understand why this spot is slammed at lunch time. Maybe not an everyday meal, but more of a fabulous treat!

Full disclosure: I’m Colombian & therefore have high standards when I visit a Colombian restaurant. I’m giving Super Rico an okay rating because although the food tastes fine they take a lot of shortcuts like pre-packaged fries, plantains, etc. That said, they do have some of the Colombian staples you’d want to enjoy while enjoying a night out downtown: Colombian burgers, hot dogs, patacones(plantains topped with an array of toppings) — it’s nice to see Colombian food in the heart of Orlando. If you’re a vegetarian, I recommend the mushroom topped patacon, or the cheese arepa, both good portions & very satisfying. A+ is in order for the staff’s courtesy, service & shirts. Curious to see what I mean? Swing by Super Rico & check them out!

Celiac folks! Listen up. This place is properly gluten free. No, I haven’t had an empanada in 3 years. They have GF empanadas. In place of a bun. They have an arepa burger. The oil they use is not cross contaminated. You can fries. Yuka fries. Whatever you want! Just tell them you are GF and your life will be perfect. So great, so amazing. They even have rice for you. Hands down, one of the best spots in all of Orlando. You must come here. You will over eat and not be disappointed. The guava and cheese empanada for Desert will change your life. Come here!!!

There is a time when a need is identified, and business comes along to fill the void. Therein lies one of the keys to success. This is the story of Super Rico Colombian Bistro. They have very aptly chosen a menu that has true Colombian roots, yet it is easy to understand, and you don’t have to be «adventurous» to try the items in the menu. Authentic and easy to understand, ordering is a breeze. Plenty of vegetarian options, it is always good to find a place that commits to a diverse menu and ensures there are quality items across the board. It is a pleasure to come to this place and get good friendly service. Super Rico is a great staple in the downtown Orlando scene, and for those of us who enjoy this place regularly, it is pretty darn cool.

What can I say… I star them like I see them and this place is 5 stars for their delicious food at a decent price. I got the super Rico burger and it came with all the toppings of a regular burger(lettuce tomato, etc) and bacon bits and a friend egg! I also got the yuca fries to go with it and they give you a nice amount I couldn’t even finish mines. The green sauce that came with it was delicious. The place itself is in the outside corner of a parking garage so it is small but they have inside and outdoor sitting. I will definitely be back for their salchipapas!

Ok so we finally had a meal here instead of just appetizers and it was tasty! The BF had the famous Super Rico burger and LOVED it. He said the sauces made it amazing. The fries on the side were normal, nothing special. I ordered the Arepica with veggies. It was good, I think not exactly what I was in the mood for. There was nothing wrong with it, it just didn’t hit the spot like I hoped. I completely believe this was my tastebuds and not the food itself. We also got the yuca fries again the arepa de choclo. Both were so good! Overall I love this little spot. I think I’ll order a different entrée next time — maybe the portobello burger.

So earlier yesterday I was reading about Tap & Grind and when I walked past it I noticed this little colombian place. I tried it later in the day since I rarely find colombian food, and I was not disappointed. We ordered a salchipapa(fries and hot dogs with sauce and cheese), and some empanadas, and it all was great! I was born and raised in Peru, so salchipapa is one of my favorite street foods, and I have to say colombians make it better. The place is tiny, and you could easily miss it, but it’s worth a try. I’m glad to see they’re open until 3am on the weekends, this would be perfect for a late night bite.
