Need gelato at 8pm?(Probably not…) Coffee at 8am?(Most definitely!) Sandwiches, yogurt, cold brew, tea, macaroons, muffins, bagels, eggs, salads, this coffeehouse and sandwich shop is quite versatile! Outdoor seating? Check! Cute little booths with spots to plug-in your e-device? Yeah, they got that, too! Want it? Need it? Done!

Great place for a quick breakfast w/the kids prior to hitting disney. There is also a buffet next door in the lobby bar which we ate at as well.

Hubs and I ate breakfast and lunch here a few times while staying at the hotel for 8 days. It was our longest stay yet and after a few days of $ 80 pancakes and yogurt parfaits from room service I wanted to try a more reasonable option. Rickety Split has several options for dining — they have pre-made items you can quickly pop in and grab and take to go, they have menu items for breakfast and lunch you can order and get to go or to dine in, and they have several pastry and dessert options(like their famous gelato) as well. I had a cobb salad for lunch here one day and it was absolutely delicious. I asked for the chicken to be substituted for salmon on the side. This was easily done and wasn’t a problem. My husband and I dined out on the patio and it probably took about 20 – 25 minutes for my salad to be ready. It was a very large portion and it was delicious and fresh. The salmon was great too. My husband and mother and grandmother all had gelato here and loved it — I did try my mother’s nutella gelato and it was really good. Nom nom. The staff are friendly and it doesn’t take too long to get the food. Usually. I had an Acai berry bowl 3x while here and I loved it — it’s fresh and a great breakfast option. I also had a multigrain spinach and egg croissant and it was DELICIOUS. Yummmmm… My only real complaint would be the setup of the door to the outdoor patio seating area… it’s weird. It has a tab that has to be either pushed or pulled in order to get out to the patio — well — this is problematic for two reasons: 1-If your hands are full you aren’t going to be able to operate that door properly and you’re going to awkwardly fumble around trying to get it open 2-Children(and most adults) can’t figure it out We sat outside two times and stood around while waiting for items on the inside of the shop — and it’s very loud and unpleasant to hear children and adults trying over and over to jerk this door open while not operating that stupid pull/push thing right. This needs to be removed and reworked — it’s awful.

Lickety Split is a dessert/coffee bar at the Four Seasons Orlando that offers a great casual spot for resting tired legs. It also offers grab and go options if you’re heading to the park and want to bring prepackaged sandwiches. Children who play the Four Seasons Passport game can qualify for a free scoop of gelato too! My Overall Rating — 4 Stars(Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere — Located next to the check-in lobby, Lickety Split will be one of your first stops at the resort. It’s cute and cozy, with a few booths that hide you from view, along with a few tables for open seating. Outside you’ll find a large outdoor patio that overlooks the resort. Inside your eyes will be drawn to the rows of frozen gelato. 1 Star. Service — Like all Four Seasons properties, the staff is terrific. If you are a spending multiple days at the resort chances are they’ll remember you, your kids, and their favorite flavors. During on stays(once in February and in September), it was never busy and they were always fast. If you have children, they can collect stamps throughout the resort property for their«passport». Once completed, they can exchange it for free gelato. It’s a great interactive way to learn about the resort while getting rewarded too. 1 Star. Food — Lickety Split offers a full coffee bar, grab & go food items, and assorted pastries. I’m sure those items are fine, but honestly the only time I’ve been here is to order gelato. It’s cold, creamy, sweet and delicious. My favorite flavors were the peanut butter, tiramisu, pistachio, and chocolate. Now, it is a little pricey and way too easy to charge it to your room, but it makes for a sweet ending to a long day at the park. 1 Star. Will I Return? — Yes. It’s hard not to stop by when you walk by Lickety Split every day. The difficult part is choosing the right flavor. But let’s be honest, if you’re staying at the resort you’ll be here a few times. 1 Star. My Unilocal Rating Scale(Sum of all parts): 1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food. 1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food(2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Unilocal score. Your review helps others learn about great local businesses.

Featuring gelato, Lickety Split also serves pastries, coffee(including cold-brew) and other to-go items like sandwiches. Although tasty, the food here is more on the pricey side… a single croissant is around $ 3 – 4 and one scoop of gelato is $ 4. The gelato selection is definitely worth a try — there are plenty of flavors to choose from. I loved the vanilla and pistachio. Both tasted very natural, especially the pistachio. The cold-brew coffee system drips all day and I was excited to try it, but I ended up not really tasting a difference between that and a traditional iced coffee. I really felt the energy boost though haha. If you’re planning to pick up a quick dinner or lunch here, I’d advise to go early to ensure your choice is there. Once when going for dinner, I noticed that they only had a couple types of sandwiches/salads left and didn’t have any additional items than what was already in the cooler. Even though the sandwiches are pre-made, they are happy to press them for you! The service is great and the employees are very friendly! Lickety Split makes for a nice convenient breakfast option, as I came here almost every day of my stay. Menu:
