Very charming i side. The menu has a very broad selection and the Tapas choices aew very reasonable. we started with a tapas dish Gambas al Ajillo as well Chorizos a la Sidra, basically cooked in Apple Cider. The garlic shrimp was amazing and for $ 5 you must try. Foe entrees I had the Pechuga Rellena which is a Chicken Breast stuffed with Spinach and Manchego Cheese. The other entrée was Paella de Mariscos. Both entrees were cooked perfectly. The location is in a strip mall but once inside it super relaxing. if ykur close by for sure try it.

Clearly they have a lot to learn when it comes to service and cuisine. First of all, the wait was just another story. They seemed very understaffed and took forever for even the most basic of service(i.e. getting water, checking up on us, etc). It simply took forever to get the waitress to our section at times. Felt forgotten at some point. The Paella is what I came for and it did not taste that good. It was very soupy as if they needed to let it cook a little longer. Simply too much water in the pan. Disappointed overall with the lack of service as well as the food itself. Would not recommend.

Food is amazing, service is awesome! I come from a Spaniard family and this makes me feel like home. I love the grilled octopus it reminds me of grandma and all the rest of the food is great. I met the owner, an amazing person and the chef super talented. Absolutely recommend this place!

This is the most authentic, delicious Spaniard restaurant in the entire United States by far, not only because the food is completely amazing all brought directly from Spain, but because the attention can’t be ever better, you totally feel welcome and well treated, I fully recommend it as one of the most wonderful places to dine or go for lunch!

I just have leave a comment for my friends from Lolailos. I went on a Wednesday and absolutely loved the place. I am Spanish myself so I am very demanding of Spanish cuisine. I immediately was blown away and knew that this was going to be a homestead for me whenever I am in the area. I took clients out for a dinner on a Friday and they received me like a superstar. My clients said it was the best dinner they had ever had! The treatment everyone receives is exemplary, the environment and Spanish feel is amazing, and the food is superb! Gracias por todo vuestro buen trato y por la cena, sois los mejores y hasta pronto!

Great ambiance. Excellent presentation. Succulent food. Courteous service. The lamb chops were almost perfection, just a little too salty for my taste, but juicy and gooey and just decadent. I mentioned to the host that the salt was a bit much for my liking. He got me a complementary red wine. Recommended!

I planned a dinner reservation here with my girlfriend on Valentine’s Day. While I fully expected it to be busy the place just seemed to be extremely unorganized with the hostess and other workers(not appearing to be very appropriately dressed too, despite the restaurant appearing to hold a «fancier» vibe) doing multiple jobs at the same time. I had a reservation for 9:00, and showed up about twenty minutes early hoping to get a table on time. We had no problem waiting at the bar. The red sangria we had while we waited was okay. When it came to be 9:30 and appeared that some other guests that came after us were seated, it became one. When I asked the hostess when we would be seated, she gave us a exasperated look as if she forgot us. Lucky us. Our waitress was not much better with the kid of unabashed care she gave suggesting any of the options and when taking our orders. We were then seated fairly quickly. The food was another story. We tried several of the options(accidentally got severed the same dish twice, but both appearing different) and much of it was very bland. Some of the options just looked outright unappealing, such as the«chorizo in apple cider» which reminded me of hot dog soup. I felt like the only dishes that were good were the Potato Lolailo and the Grilled Shrimp. The Scallop Stuffed Squid was okay too. Then came the bill; oh boy that was much more expensive than what we expected. Granted we expected it to be busy, but the service was not good at all and the food not worth the price the«$$» suggests. While I more than likely would not take many trips to Orlando, this is one place I would not be coming back to. At least the music was entertaining as was the somewhat drunk old Spanish man dancing to it which was the highlight to our dinner. Hopefully he’s there for you too.

I had high hopes for this place after reading the other Unilocal reviews but unfortunately the experience was not great. I wonder how this place is in business when they apparently fly all their seafood in from Spain(despite being situated hours from the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico), yet we were the only dinner guests in the restaurant for about two hours the evening we were there. Pros: + A big menu with lots of Spanish selections, although this could also be a negative. + The scallops in the tapas were very good and perfectly cooked. Unfortunately the egg they were stuffed into was overcooked. Cons: — The Paella was strangely cooked, and completely lacked the«crispy rice» texture at the bottom I am accustomed to when I order it from other restaurants. Perhaps the chef was stirring the paella while cooking, preventing this signature«crust» from forming at the bottom. In any case, the texture was suspect. — The«stuffed pepper» tapas had a strange cheese filling which sort of tasted like eggs mixed with cheese. I didn’t ask what it was, but the lukewarm temperature was also sort of a put-off. — The waitress kept bragging about how all the seafood in the restaurant is «flown in from Spain.» Other than the bits of scallops and octopus in one tapas and one paella, the other seafood was underwhelming. They should really use the resources around them in the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, because they’re getting ripped off on substandard seafood from Europe for no reason. — This was the most expensive restaurant we went to in Orlando. With two sangrias, two small ‘tapas’ and two paellas, the bill came to around $ 60 plus tip. — There were three chefs in the kitchen, and around six apparent staff members milling around(I counted six in the dining room eating rolls from the kitchen which were probably meant for the dinner guests who never showed up), yet when our drinks were empty, we still often had to wait a substantial time period for them to be refilled. You would think since we were the only dinner guests for two hours, the service would be a little more attentive. Looking back on the other Unilocal reviews this restaurant has received in recent months, I now suspect some of them may have been«bought» from a reputation management service and are not deserved or authentic. I was fooled by the high rating on Unilocal this restaurant currently has. I would not go back.

My wife and I were in Orlando for our daughter’s soccer tournament at Disney. My wife downloaded a coupon for this Tapas restaurant. We love Tapas and Lolis earned a permanent must go when n Orlando for us — we even referred our friends who live in Orlando! This place is FANTASTICO all round! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The menu and offerings are nothing short of spectacular! GO!

I went for a Valentine’s Day Dinner with my GF and after reading the reviews here I was excited to take her here. I figured it was going to be busy so I expected it to be a little slower than normal. We got there at 8pm after reserving a table. Our table wasn’t ready yet, but that wasn’t huge we were waiting for around 5 minutes for them to set our table so we didn’t care too much about that. We were seated and our server was no where to be found we were sitting at the table with no menus for about 15 minutes we had to ask one of the runners for menus. then another 10 minutes pass by no sign of our server. The people seated around us were looking for our server too. You can see the server on the other side of the restaurant doing a great job but ours was just nonexistent. They got our drink orders, and the runner brought them to us. We finished our drinks and we were again still waiting for the server to come by to take our order. 50 minutes has already gone by. When we got hold of our server we explained we had a certificate and she said they didn’t take those on Valentine’s Day. Not too surprised about that as is the rule for most restaurants I asked why didn’t they print it on the certificate. We received a shrug for our question. The certificate was a small thing that we let go but the shrug was just incredibly rude. We put in our food order and we receive them by the runner. Mind you, our drinks and waters have been finished and we have not received a refill for any of it. I had the lamb chops which were served over potatoes au gratin. My girlfriend ordered a veal cutlet. Both were overcooked. Not badly but just tough and overcooked. More than what is expected for what you are paying for them. We finished our meal and guess what? Our server hasn’t been by yet. We waited another 15 minutes having conversation until we were able to grab hold of the hostess for the check since we couldn’t find the server. The hostess, runner and the other server on the other side of the restaurant seemed like they were doing a great job. You could see them running around on a busy day, ours wasn’t. I rate this one star because of the sloppy service by our server and the overcooked, underwhelming food that was served to us. There was no way we could have told them we felt it was overcooked because the server never came up to ask us how our meal was. Total time for two people and two entrees? Almost two hours, the first hour we received drinks and an appetizer.

As far as I am concerned, this is the best restaurant in Orlando. Spanish food imported seafood from Spain at reasonable prices and a atmosphere where you can actually have a conversation and be heard.

The food was excellent. It is a true and authentic Spanish restaurant. It tastes like in Spain. The food is wonderfully arrange on the plates. The rooms are decorated adorably with every detail you find in upscale restaurants in Spain. Service was incredible friendly, attending with a very personal touch. Both in English and Spanish. This restaurant is great for remembering your last Spain visit, preparation going there, exploring the Spanish cuisine and even for you formal business lunch and dinner. An absolute recommendation to family, friends and colleagues.

Last night, we celebrated my parents 41st Wedding Anniversary at Lolailo and everything went according to plan in terms of food and service. I have come to the conclusion that this restaurant is a hidden gem in terms of authentic Spanish restaurants in the area. We arrived at 8:45pm and were greeted outside by the hostess. They have the check in desk placed outside the doors which is an elegant attention to detail. When we entered the restaurant both of our servers greeted us and escorted us to the table in the Granada room. Both servers congratulated my parents as we sat down and it was greatly appreciated. The interior of the restaurant brought back memories of the small family restaurants you find in Spain. There is a large painted mural of The Alhambra, a beautiful and mystifying palace /fortress located in Granada. The bar area despite being small, is welcoming and designed to feel like a typical bar in Madrid. Towards the back of the restaurant is the Galicia room which from what I could see has one main table with a beautiful chandelier hanging above it. This room is next to the performance stage where a guitar player plays Spanish Guitar. They offer Flamenco dancing on Friday’s and a belly dancer on Saturdays. Having reviewed the menu online, we already had a pretty good idea of what we were going to order. We began with Tabla Mixta which was presented with various meats like Jamon Serrano, Chorizo, Lomo, Manchego Cheese, Queso Cabrales and a few others. It was served on what looked like a piece of tree trunk, very unique. We also ordered some Croquetas Caseras which were amazing, made with Bechamel and Jamon Serrano. These croquettes are not easily found outside of Spain so I would definitely recommend these as a starter. My wife had the curiosity to try Bollos Prenaos which is chorizo wrapped in a dough and baked. They resemble a mini beef wellington but instead of beef, chorizo/sausage. We paired the meal with a great Rioja Red called Muga. Prior to ordering our entrees, we had the pleasure to meet Executive Chef Jose Ramon Jose Ramon Fernandez. He came over to our table and introduced himself and explained many of the items on the menu. He also spoke to my dad a lot about their native Asturias which was one of the main reasons I had chosen this restaurant, I do my homework! I felt it was a very nice touch for the chef to take time from the kitchen to come conversate with us, you don’t see that much anymore. We made our selections and the entrees did not disappoint. After Chef Jose Ramon recommended the lamb, I decided to order the Chuletillas De Cordero which are Lamb Chops and they did not disappoint. The meat was cooked to a perfect medium rare and they tasted just right. I have found that when lamb is not cooked well, it tastes a bit gamey but these tasted like regular meat and the chops were juicy and flavorful. They were served on a bed of Spanish potatoes that were magnificent. My wife had the Salt Crusted Sea Bass that was filleted tableside by the Chef. The whole fish was brought out on a oven pan and you could see the entire fish covered in Sea Salt. Before the fish was presented on the table, the chef removed the bones and my wife went to work. The fish looked very moist and I was told the flavors were spot on. My dad had the Merluza A La Gallega which is a fish called Hake in English. It is broiled in aluminum foil along with vegetables which keeps all the flavors intact. My mom ordered Arroz Con Boletus or Rice with Mushrooms which resembles a risotto but the rice is not as sticky. They offer Rib Eye on the children’s menu which is rare and after trying it, it was top quality meat cooked to perfection. We moved on to desserts after our delicious main courses and were offered the famous dessert not on the menu, called Elogio Al Vino. This dessert is made up of Tocinillo Del Cielo(Flan like dessert), Turron ice cream, Red Wine Reduction Sauce and Edible Rose Petals. It was very original and the flavors came together nicely. What worries me about this restaurant is the location. It is located on Turkey Lake Road in the Gold’s Gym Plaza. It is hidden towards the back of the plaza and I am not sure if people are aware its there. Some of the businesses in this plaza are closed and it seems a bit abandoned. The signage for the restaurant is also hard to see from the street. I hope they survive because the food is really good and they have an international chef with experience running the kitchen. It’s not easy to find Spanish restaurants that cook using old world recipes but there is one in Orlando, and it’s called Lolailo.

Spanish foods, especially foods from the north of Spain, tend to be more subdued in their flavors and generally focus on fewer flavors in each dish rather than many. However, I have never had such bland Spanish food. We popped in for lunch on a Thursday. We were in the area for Indian food but noticed this place we had wanted to try for a few months and decided to give it a try. We went for the lunch«special» — $ 20 for soup or salad, entrée, and desert. Our iced teas were $ 2.50 more — each. A bit pricey! It is usually a bad sign when a restaurant is completely empty of customers at noon on a weekday. My vegetable soup was pureed, extraordinarily hot, and not bad but not great.(Full disclosure — I am not a fan of pureed savory foods, makes me think of baby food so if you don’t mind the purée you may enjoy the soup). My mate had the garlic soup. It was thin, oily, and tasted of nothing other than garlic. Again, I understand the focus on simple flavors and this was very pleasing to my mate once he dipped the(delicious) rolls in it, though I would have preferred a support system — maybe a starch like potato, rice, etc. We both had the cod entrée(there were only 2 choices on the special menu — fish or I think lamb). What an awful thing to do to a really nice piece of fish. Thin white sauce covered a poached fillet accompanied by watery mashed potatoes, one shrimp, and a clam. When we asked for hot sauce we were kindly told there was none but we could have salt and pepper. They helped a little but still, super bland. My rice pudding was the best part of the meal after the rolls — perfectly sweetened with cinnamon and a nice portion. My mate had the flan and said it was«ok». The place is BEAUTIFUL! Really nice. Stone work, copper trimmed bar, and some very interesting art(for sale) on the walls. There’s also a stage for flamenco. We may come back for the flamenco and wine(they appeared to have a nice selection) but if we do we’ll be full of Indian food.

Southwest Orange County really needs a good tapas restaurant. And Lolailo has the potential to be one, but it’s not there yet. The restaurant occupies the former space of the much-missed Rice Paper, but has undergone a full remodel, and is quite stylish. To me, tapas is all about ordering a table full of small sharing plates. In Spain it’s not uncommon for two of us to share a dozen little items. But that doesn’t work at Lolailo. Much of the menu is devoted to entrees, and the tapas items are extremely expensive. An assorted cheese plate for $ 30? You’ve got to be kidding. Assorted meats $ 20. The problem is worse at lunch. There are almost no tapas items on the lunch menu. Pricing is more reasonable, with the entrees under $ 15, and a croquette appetizer was a bargain at $ 4. But most items weren’t particularly flavorful. The grilled lamb chops were the best, but were accompanied by flavorless mashed potatoes. My guests were unenthusiastic about the veal, the fish soup and the chick pea stew. We were almost alone at lunch, and certainly outnumbered by employees, yet it took an hour and a half, so I’m curious to see if they continue to offer lunch. I might try Lolailo again, but I think I’ll wait a few months to see what changes they make.
