Not expecting much but for a drink that costs $ 12 was certainly hoping to taste a tad of alcohol — much to my surprise the drink packed a punch!!! Delicious!!! Enjoyed sitting and listening to a very talented performer. Unfortunately didn’t catch his name but he was great!

The Margarita Bar is in the Market place area of Disney Springs. The location is the same as it has been in for years, but they have changed the patio seating area to incorporate a small stage for live music beside the lake. There is both walk-up window service and table service available. The drinks are typical Disney pricing but usually done well. It is a fun place to step away from the crowds, listen to a few tunes, and enjoy a drink.

HOLYCOW. The bartenders hook you up! These drinks are loaded, which I was not expecting at a tourist place where drinks are typically watered down and prices are jacked up. I ordered the mojito, which tasted like rum on the rocks. After I squeezed the limes, it tasted much better. The frozen strawberry margarita tasted as you would expect –sugary and sweet. However, if you’re looking for a frozen margarita the orange one was WAY better.

We were refused service because we didn’t have passports with us. I’ve never had a problem using my Australian photo ID when buying drinks in America and I don’t feel safe enough in such a crowded place to carry my passport around with me. Being in my late 20s I was actually pretty insulted to be refused a margarita on a hot day after travelling half an hour from Magic Kingdom. You would think a place that relies so heavily on tourism would be more accepting of foreigners. Luckily we ended up going to Raglan Road bar and had a great refreshing cocktail with great service.

Talk about a strong pour. You won’t be disappointed. Great atmosphere and the lounge area is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the crowds.

Probably my favorite spot at Downtown Disney to grab a margarita, beer or other drink. The drinks aren’t cheap but they are well-made and the craft beer selection is surprisingly solid. I also hear they make a mean rum runner. It’s a small shack on the lake with some bar stools, and a nice outdoor patio area with very comfy chairs and couches. There is just enough shade and just enough sun and there is almost always live music. It’s a great place to briefly escape the otherwise hectic downtown area.

*** Habanero Lime Margarita(Score 5) — never had anything like it … kinda’ spicy but I like it like that. It was very good and HIGHLY Recommended!!! The bartender showed me the bottle of mix they use. Found it on Amazon … it’s called Monin Habanero Lime Syrup! Ordered a 4-pack! :) Mojito(Score 1) — over did it with the mint. Wife asked if they used basil. Muddling a little rather than adding A LOT would obviously make it better. Tasted like a herbed sugar drink. Another lady had one made from a different bartender and had a nasty look on her face after trying it. Frozen Strawberry Margarita(Score 2) — $ 12 outta’ an ice cream maker at Disney??? Really??? Mother-in-law said it was good and she enjoyed it. Overall … Spending $ 40 for 3 drinks is a kick in the head … that’s with a suitable(suggested) tip. If the drinks were all amazing … it would probably been acceptable. Do the Habanero Margarita or keep walking!!!

After a long(liquor free) day at Magic kingdom I found myself asking what does a girl gotta do to get a margarita here! The answer is take the bus to downtown Disney and find dockside margaritas. They pour generous but perfectly balanced cocktails and you can just sit back from the crowds and enjoy the waterfront outlook. If your hungry I recommend heading across to earl of sandwich first and enjoy a hot sandwich with your margaritas.

My BF fell in love with the Rum Runners here so… every single time we ended up here, he opted for a Rum Runner. I only had a sip but they are quite tasty… but be aware that that 151 will catch up with you.

This is a little shack on the promenade at The Boardwalk which you would skip unless you wanted something more than ice cream, which we did one blistering hot day while waiting for our reservation at Flying Fish. They advertised a Frozen Pineapple Margarita for $ 11.25, which is quite pricey, until you take a sip and then realize what all margaritas have been missing! Pineapple! Not insipid mango, or fake strawberry, or whatever food coloring they throw in your drink and call it a fruit, but pineapple!!! Another good thing? You can take your drink into the Flying Fish and they won’t say a word! Awesome!
