Mr. Rekey Locksmith – Orlando

A great big THANK YOU, Mr. ReKey! I had an emergency situation, yesterday– I was locked out of our place in downtown Orlando & had an hour to solve my problem before guests were to arrive. I made one phone call to Mr Rekey– I had sudden relief. Your team was friendly, priced great, got there more than timely and took care of my locked door concerns, with minutes to spare–

The company responded to my concerns quickly, and also wanted to know how to remedy the experience/​situation. We were reimbursed in full and every concern we had was addressed. They remedied the situation in full.***
Unfortunately, we had a BAD experience. The technician that came to install 3 deadbolts on our door completely maimed and ruined our door to the garage. He didn’t tell us until my husband noticed him and called it to his attention. He then cited apologies and blamed the door width/​frame. We called his manager, and he, professing his dedication to customer satisfaction, came 2 days later with the same technician, to replace the door entirely. Not only was the install itself done so poorly that it won’t lock unless using one hand on the knob and one hand on the deadbolt, you then also have to push the door back a bit to get the deadbolt to engage. And on top of it, the door they installed is a HOLLOW frame interior door. This is a cheap door that now replaces a solid wood door, and as such, completely negates any true feeling of safety and security. Our handyman actually commented on how horrible the job was done when he saw it. Needless to say, now we have to pay to get this fixed ourselves. We will never recommend this company and don’t trust in their ability enough to have them over a third time to repair the repair. Sad. And especially since the supervisor himself pulled the wool over our eyes. Shameful!

Mr. Rekey did what they said they would do at the economical price they quoted. What else could you want? Our technician even adjusted a strike plate at no additional charge, outside of the original scope of services.

I work in the real estate industry so deal with a lot of home repair vendors and Dan at Mr. ReKey consistently and simply just gets the job done. No upcharges, no non-​sense. In fact, on the last job (I have used them many times) I was still having problems with a dead-​bolt. Dan returned the next day… no questions, no additional charges… he just fixed it.
