Went to Orlando Appliances 4 Less looking for a used washer. It’s located In the back of a sketchy plaza off Forsyth Road. They advertise 1 year warranty and free delivery. The girl in the office showed us what they had and said they were low on washers because«the truck never showed up». They had about 20 washers and all were $ 250+, even the older ones. We expressed our dismay with the prices(you can get a new basic washer for a little more than that) and she recited about the one year warranty. My husband asked if they were basically charging so much knowing their washers would fail and need service within that year and she basically affirmed. Needless to say we left without purchasing and went to a more reputable dealer whose appliances are a reasonable price. I would NOTRECOMMEND this place to anyone. I feel they are predatory.

I used to work for a real estate company that ordered over 200 washer/dryer sets a year for our clients new units. I just moved in a new house that didn’t have a washer and dryer so I figured I’d go to the guy we used to send so much business to get the best deal. Well, turns out he sold the business. I decided to go ahead and order a set for around $ 1,000 with their website still boasting«FREESAMEDAYDELIVERY»(when you spend over $ 500 and live within 10 miles away — which both are true). 4 days later, still no washer and dryer. They took the payment for it 4 days ago when I ordered but haven’t delivered. I get a call today saying the delivery fee is going to be $ 60COD, cash only + $ 10 for the w/d hookups, AND they can’t make it here until tomorrow between 3 and 5pm. I was put on hold abruptly with no notice whatsoever two or three times in our ten minute conversation. The«manager» just happens to be in a meeting right now and will call me back«when he gets time.» So, I call them back and tell them to cancel the order and issue a FULLREFUND only to hear«Unfortunately sir we have a strict no refund policy. There are absolutely no refunds, only exchanges or store credits.» — ITHASN’T EVENBEENPUTON A TRUCKFORDELIVERYYET, YOUAREFALSELYADVERTISINGTOGETCUSTOMERS and you are STILL denying me my money back? There has to be some kind of law to protect consumers against this shenanigans. When Mario owned the business this would have NEVER happened! Very sad. Well, learn from my mistake — if you live in Central Florida DONOTSHOPAT .
