I can’t thank Disney enough for bringing this little treat out of the park and available to those who aren’t able to afford a ticket. Being able to get literally one of the tastiest and refreshing desserts ever and now easier than ever! First off, there aren’t a lot of choices here. It’s just like the Dole whip station at Magic Kingdom. You choose between Vanilla or Pineapple Whip and whether you want it in a cup, cone or a float. GETTHEFLOAT. It’s the ONLY way to eat it. My husband gets it swirled in a cup and I also feel like he’s missing out :) Another great thing about having this little gem at the Polynesian is that you can enjoy the atmosphere of the resort without having to stay there. Now… if only Universal would let you be able to get Butterbeer outside of the park :(Then life would be pretty much perfect.

Long line and only one person working the window! Come on Disney you used to be better than this.

The dole whips are amazing. Smooth tropical yummy! Disney friendly service and clean. I say get pineapple on pineapple. You go to Disney and don’t get a dole whip then you wasted your vacation. We have season passes just to get this yummy treat

One of only 3 places in Disneyworld to secure a Dole Whip. Take the boat from MK or the GF and enjoy the ride. Only MK near the Tikki Room and Animal Kingdom have the Dole Whip otherwise.

We tried to get into the Polynesian resort because I saw on Unilocal that it was located on these premises and we’re unsuccessful. The security guard at the gate acted like he never heard of pineapple lanai and wouldn’t let us go through or give us more information on where it was located. He treated us like we were suspicious and didn’t even offer to help us. What a waste of driving 15min to get here.

Everyone that is hanging around the Polynesian resort needs to try dole whip. Pineapple flavored soft serve. What’s not to love? Get the swirl for less pineapple tang and a smoother flavor.

My husband and I were at The Polynesian Resort because of our dinner reservation at ‘Ohana. We were there a little early and decided to explore. We found this right outside the main building. Nicole gave us free samples because we had never tried Dole Whip before. We got Dole Whip and vanilla swirl in a cup. It was so delicious!!! We were able to share just one because we were going to have a big dinner ahead of us, but I could have finished one on my own for sure. Also, there is seating right in front so that you can buy another one immediately after you finish your first. Haha! Give it a go! Note: When I was at Magic Kingdom, I tried to get the swirl at Aloha Isle and they said they didn’t serve it there. :(

I absolutely love this place! It is beyond one of my favorite locations outside of the parks. If I don’t feel like going all the way to magic kingdom it’s awesome to know that I can get my dole whip fix on! It’s great to get a dole whip from here and then watch the fireworks from the beach area of the Polynesian. This place is a real winner and so glad it’s here! :-)

Secret location for Dole Whips. I have enjoyed at least 20 Dole Whips and have waited over an hour in the past, so it was amazing to find that Pineapple Lanai serves them and rarely has a long line. It’s delicious and I often day dream about returning there just for the Dole Whip. I’d strongly recommend Pineaple Lanai to friends.

The dole whip in a cup was light and sweet. A good number of seats available to relax and gaze at the beautiful lush plants in the Polynesian community. The odd thing I noticed is there doesn’t seem to be much consistency in the way the various whip cups and floats are created. Depending on who the server is, I’ve seen whips swirled out in a tall mountain, while the next one is created short and fat.

What more is there to say other than DOLEWHIP?!? We were at the Polynesian and had to stop and share a dole whip. I am not an ice cream fan, but this was fantastic! Lived up to every bit of the hype. The place is a cute little outdoor space and just off the main part of the resort lobby. You can enjoy the seating here or take your treat and walk down to the beach, sit on a swing and enjoy the scenery.

Dole whip. That is all. Only one place in the world to get one, along with the atmosphere, there’s only one place better and it’s across bay lake. However since they upgraded the resort you can now sit outside, enjoy your dole whip and absorb the atmosphere.

What the… Dole Whip… at the Polynesian? HUZZAH! I missed my chance at Dole Whip at the Magic Kingdom on our last day due to on/off rain, so I was just tickled pink… err pineapple yellow… when I saw this place. I went for the twist which is vanilla soft serve and pineapple and it was the perfect way to end our vacation at Disney World. Thanks Pineapple Lanai!

Pineapple Lanai is a take-out window located in Disney’s Polynesian Resort. It’s fairly new and was added as part of the recent renovation they are doing on the property. They used to serve the famous Dole Whip at Captain Cook’s on the property, but no longer as they now have a dedicated place just for Dole Whip. The window serves the original Pineapple Dole Whip, and also Vanilla as well. They also offer it swirled with both flavors. Like in Adventureland, they also offer it as a float with pineapple juice. You can get either option in a normal cup or in a souvenir bowl for the whip or a souvenir glass for the float. It’s $ 4.25(with taxes) for the Dole Whip in a normal cup which is what we ordered. The cup is small, but it’s swirled up high! There’s a few tables where you can sit down and enjoy it or you can take it over to the beach and wait for the fireworks show which is what we did! Dole Whip is of course a nice delicious treat and it’s great to order it without the lines and still with the all ambiance of the beautiful Polynesian Resort.

There is NOTHING better than enjoying a DOLEWHIP among the gardens of the Polynesian Resort. There is a snack bar dedicated to all things Dole Whip just outside the lobby of the hotel. You can order pineapple, vanilla or mixed. They swirl it up real high so you have to start eating it quickly or it will topple over! The only other place you can get an authentic Disney Dole Whip is in Adventureland inside the Magic Kingdom. Why I never knew this sooner is beyond me but now I have the souvenir Tiki bowl to prove it! I’ve had the Dole Whip. And yes it’s addictive.

Dole Whip! We popped into Captain Cooks in the Polynesian Resort for our Dole Whip fix, only it wasn’t there. We were dejected and fearful until we popped around the corner and there was Pineapple Lanai, ready to please with Dole Whip, swirl and floats. There were several tables outside, or cool down in one of the many chairs in the newly renovated Polynesian Resort lobby. Seriously, there is nothing better on a warm day at Disney than a Dole Whip break.

They don’t have the Dole Whip soft serve at Captain Cooks in the Polynesian Resort anymore?!? Nooooooooooooooooooooo. Then, Pineapple Lanai happened. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees. As good as always. No longer self-serve. Includes the float varieties available at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom. There are several tables on the lanai, but also plenty of seats in the lobby, to enjoy your deliciousness.
