Pizzeria Valdiano

We were enjoying a binge-​watching weekend of Star Wars Episodes 1 through VII; and, our favorite pizza place came to mind. My wife and I order the 16-​inch sausage lasagna pizza, which featured spicy sausage, rich and creamy ricotta cheese, an ample amount of sauce; toasted perfectly. My daughter ordered a large cheese, as is her wont. We picked up the pizzas, along with garlic bread two ways; and, my daughter had a fountain drink. Service was fast and friendly; and, the lady working the counter made sure everything went great!

Delicious! The staff was super helpful. Lasagna pizza and spicy BBQ wings.

Great food but please stop using that garbage bacio cheese from performance food service in orlando and go back to the best cheese which is grande!

Came in from New York and was hesitant to try the pizza place, but decided to go for it. So glad I did! The pizza was as good if not better than some NY slices I’ve had! Would definitely recommend it!

If you settle for mediocrity this is your new pizza place. Everything was slow and honestly too greasy even for a NY style pizza. I was also surprised at the lack of friendlyness. I was so disappointed at this whole establishment I downloaded this app for this review. I am interested to see how much longer this will be in business.

In my family attempt to get a quick bite to eat before a movie we decided to try this place for the first time. It was not good! Why? Hidden prices for toppings you won’t see them on the menu board and staff won’t tell you. Also, we ordered wings 10 of them, we wanted half hot and half mild… they asked the cook and he said no… I asked why and was informed because the boss said so… I said, it’s what the boss wants not the customer… Customers service was not great I blame management training of these young employees… when we asked for sauce for wings would be an extra $.50 for for a small cup of blue cheese… unreal… Also, we looked for a clean table and only found two… was pretty dirty. The pizza was OK not worth its price. It more bread than toppings… wings were okay as well… no celery or sauce comes with it. I’m a good and a pizza maker myself and if it wasn’t the fact that I got sick that night 3÷6÷16 I would not be speaking up. So… if u are by Waterford lakes movie theater and decide for a quick bite… I recommend somewhere else… decision is your.

Had this joint before for lunch. It’s my first time getting a carry out pizza thou. Coke to think of it, I think I enjoyed the lunch pizza better. I’m so dang picky thou who knows.

Yummy pizza by the slice. Walk in and select a great tasting piece of freshly baked pizza. Pizza of the day was Cheeseburger. Great flavor hamburger/​cheddar!
Guys in the kitchen were really awesome, friendly and professional Know how to handle the ingredients and serve people politely.

I love their pizza and at one time was basically addicted as my friend and I would come here at least once a week for several months. Their crust is what makes it great — you can tell a great pizza if when you hold it straight out, the front part doesn’t flop down. Their pizza definitely holds up to the test. Their grandma’s Sicilian pizza is great too. I always ask for a corner piece as its crispier on the edges! Their daily pizza specials are worth a try as well! I normally get both!

One of my friends told me about this place and I just shook my head because I never actually noticed them as many times as I have driven past them. Well tonight I was in the mood for a slice and did not feel like driving very far.
I walked in and it kind of reminds you of a mom n pop pizza joint in NYC. The smell of the food made it hard to decide at first but after looking over the menu, I chose to have a slice of the «special of the day» and «Valdiano» with a Sprite.
To the left of the soda machine you have your utensils, cheese, garlic, basil and crushed red pepper to top your pizza with. I also saw several desserts offered including cannoli and tiramisu. There is a small dining area inside and some patio seating outside. The also offer delivery.
If you like a thin and crispy pizza… You will LOVE their pizza. The special of the day was sausage and peppers and it was very good. The Valdiano was off the chain good. It had pepperoni, sausage, meatball, onion, pepper, mushroom and mozzarella. As I was finishing up the Valdiano, I saw a Bianca get put out but there was one slice of the Bianca topped with pepperoni. I could not resist and now I had two more slices in front of me. The Bianca was very good but that slice with the pepperoni was my favorite of the four slices.
There were two college age kids and a woman that favored the owner in the photo to my left on the wall. I asked if she was the owner and in fact she was. I asked if I could take a picture of her and her staff because I REALLY enjoyed the pizza I just ate and she agreed. She asked why I took the picture and that is when I let her know I planned to post a review of my experience on Unilocal.The young man and young lady chatted with me for a few minutes and then I headed off to pick up my wife from work.

My wife loves a thin and crispy crust and we have struggled to find a place to her liking. I am really looking forward to bringing her here so she can taste their pizza. OK I have to admit, I also want to try the Stromboli, cannoli and tiramisu… Stay tuned for an update in the near future…

Excellent service! Everyone here is nice and warm environment! The food tastes fresh and the bread knots are delicious.

Love the pizza and I love the lunch deal. 2 slices and a drink for less than $ 7 is a great deal and when you consider how good the pizza is, it’s perfect. Great place to stop by and grab a quick lunch. I will keep coming back.

INCOMPETENT STAFF AND NOW I MUST DISPUTE A FRAUD CHARGE!
I attempted to order a pizza for delivery this past weekend. The phone staff was very distracted and I had to repeat the name of the address several times. He called back stating I lived to far and delivery was not possible, I live 2.5 miles away. Later, a manager called asking if I would be willing to keep my order and stated he entered the address wrong in their system. I said no, I did not want to deal with it. The manager assured me that my credit card authorization charge would be voided. Apparently, they cannot properly cancel a charge and it went into finalized transaction this morning. So, not only did I not get the pizza but I wasted time on the phone their incompetent staff plus now must call my bank to dispute this charge. I am so angry!

I am pretty disappointed with the service we had at Pizzeria Valdiano. We were hoping to pick up a quick pizza to go, but it ended up being a 25 minute wait for a cheese pizza and a meatball sub. (Even though there were only a couple other customers the whole time we were there.)
To make matters worse, when we got home we found the sub was actually chicken parm, and not meatball. My husband actually drove all the way back to get the correct sub.
The food was good, but I’ll never order take-​out here again.

this place makes some very good pizza. I like to stop in for a slice or two when I am in the area. They have several locations around town. they take your order at the counter and serve it up quickly.

It has been a struggle to find good pizza in Orlando, but Valdiano definitely has it! The one thing that I truly miss about my roots in Brooklyn is the pizza. It has been so difficult to find places that can come close to the mediocre places in NY. But this was a breath of fresh air. The sauce is delicious, The crust is thin, and a little crispy. I love a regular cheese slice, no toppings to disguise the deliciousness of the pizza. My only complaint is that it is closer to home.

We walked in for a quick slice of pizza before our movie. It’s located just across the street from the Waterford lakes cinema. There’s a nice selection of pizzas ready by the slice. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pizza especially the crispy crust. The place isn’t much to look at, very basic, but I’ll go back for a slice of pizza before or after my next movie.

The pizza was ok.
I came in on Wednesday and got a slice of the day that included Pepperoni, red onion, what was either goat cheese or feta, and black olives. I thought it was pretty good at $ 2.75, the only thing I thought was that the tomato sauce was a bit too acidic. I also had a slice of the Bianca and the description said it has ricotta cheese and I swear that I didn’t see it or at least there wasn’t enough for me to pick up on it. (See Pic)
