Power Window Repair We Come to You for Free

So the front drivers window on my 2009 Ford Escape decided to fail on a Sunday of all days, with a storm coming in. I did a quick search on Google and found a a review of this company here on Unilocal.I was a bit skeptical of the review since it was so positive but I decided to call and give them a try. I spoke with Bob and he agreed to call me back if he was able to get the part and fix it the same day. The part wasn’t available so he let me know and scheduled the technicians to come out the next day. He provided me with a time frame and even the names of the technicians that would be doing the work (Brandon and Tia). Sure enough I got a call the next day when they were on their way and everything I had read was 100% true! Fast work, knowledgeable techs, courteous service. Even showed me what what made the bad part fail and how to prevent it in the future. The price was exactly as quoted with was WAY lower than the dealership. No hidden fees and a satisfaction guarantee. What more can you ask. If you need to have you electric window mechanism replaced in future don’t waste your time calling anyone else. It’s never fun when something goes wrong with your car. Even less fun is trying to find a company that can repair what’s wrong and offer a fair price in return for its services. I am very happy to say that Bob Hufford and his technicians made my experience so easy that I had to take the time and share my experience.
About the time I was applying duct tape to my driver side window to keep the rain out is when I knew that I had to get my power window fixed. I was dreading calling around to different companies so they could take their turn gouging me on prices for a multitude of hypothetical problems with my window. That’s pretty close to what happened, with people quoting me more than $ 400…“if there are no other unforeseen problems”. I could just see myself sitting at some random mechanic and after my door was gutted, a technician telling me they have to charge me an extra hundred dollars for something «unforeseen». Then I found a company that had great reviews on Google that specialized in power windows and I gave them a call.
I was expecting the same old song and dance, but Bob was different. Within a five-​minute phone call, he diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote on price, and set up an appointment to come to my home to repair the window. It was really just that easy.
First, the quote he gave me was worlds apart from the bloated rates other companies were quoting. Second, the diagnosis of the issue was exactly what was wrong with my window. No bait and switch; no increase in price. Third, Bob told me he would arrive at my home at 2pm on Monday, and that’s exactly when he showed up. In less than an hour, my window was working again. Bob and his technicians even took the time to wipe away the duct tape residue which, by that point, was just icing on the cake.
It’s experiences like these that I am so grateful for Unilocal because I really could not recommend this specialty company more. They were friendly, fair, competent, and owner-​operated.
