Good spot for a beer and some good food. Friendly atmosphere and always a good time. Try their wings and Burgers.

I was there Friday afternoon, the bartender who later claimed he was the G. M made our dining experience terrible. He was rude and very disconnected. I think he was racist because I am Indian and my brother looks like a lighter Indian. He had three guests at the bar which he was cashing out and we asked a simple question and he snapped saying«I’m in the middle of something when I get done ill come back over» smh. And the whole place had maybe 7 totally guests. We apologized to him three time and he continued to ignore us, which pissed us off and just wanted to cash out and leave. We didn’t want to be there another minute. What’s messed up is that we ordered app, but changed our minds because of his service so we just wanted to pay for our drinks and not the food that we didn’t want but he refused to take off the food and charged us for the FOODWHIICHWEDIDN’T EATORTAKEWITHUS and the drinks. This was by far the worst customer service and what’s sad is me and my brother are bartenders. Sad to see A GM act the way he did.

Owner is GREAT. Our kickball league calls this our«home» bar on Thursday and Friday nights. Sets us up with plenty of room in the back where we can have plenty of room for Flip Cup and Beer Pong and our own restroom. When we go on nights other than«kickball» nights, plenty of TV’s to watch whatever sporting event you need to !

Came here July 4th after the Fire work show downtown Orlando. To my surprise this place wasn’t packed at all. I figured it was a national holiday. I figured bars in the area would be slammed. This place was quite empty. Which was A-OK with me, I hate crowded places. Vegas clubs and bars are always crowded regardless the day. So it was a bit of a culture shock for me for this place to be empty. The Batista’s weren’t super pretty and they poured weak drinks. I had 3 crown and cokes and no buzz. BOO :(Its okay I wasn’t trying to get super wasted I had a 6am Flight back to Vegas the next morning. I also love going to barfys and enjoying bar food. So I ordered two baskets of fries and hot chicken wings. They were pretty taste but not scrumcios. Over all the experience there was A-OK, its not your typical bar. To me its like a sports bar wanna-be dance club. LOL Suggestions: — decent price but WEAK drinks — good spot to watch sports

I used to work in the building that this restaurant sits in and I also used to live about 5 minutes away so this quickly became one of my favorite hangout spots. The food is about average. Their burgers weren’t too bad and the shepherd’s pie was good enough. That’s not really why you come by, though. Their TV setup is excellent for catching just about all of the football games on Sundays. I also loved their bartenders, though I did come back incredibly often so I got to know them pretty well hehe. They have all of the beers you expect a sports bar to have available with affordable prices. I never felt like I was breaking the bank when I stopped by Piper’s, which is great when you’re there all day watching football lol. Their location is prime real estate in downtown Orlando. I usually stopped by Piper’s to start my night off and then ventured out into the craziness of downtown. At night it can get a little crazy as I think others have the same idea, but it’s never been a bad experience for me.

A visit here to check out their 2 for $ 5 Heineken and maybe something to eat. I came on a Thursday after work… around 6pm. Having tickets to a 7pm movie I only wanted a quick drink and bite to eat. The 2 for $ 5 Heineken is bottle only. I ordered the blackened mahi mahi salad, no onions. The beers were cold and it was nice that the bartender put my second one on ice until I was ready. The salad came out with the big slab of fish on top, though not my idea of blackened. It had a sauce type outside instead of being a little crisp. The salad it self was ordinary with tomatos, cheese, green peppers and unfortunately a lot of lettuce ends. Downside: employees talking to each other very loudly. Most likely because there was no one in the place. Overall the place was OK but will need to try a different night.

During a recent hunt for a decent easy going bar in downtown I came across this place, its nesttled in the Plaza complex under the movie theater which gives it a tendency to get overlooked by the mainstream bar hopping crowd on Orange Ave, this makes for a less hectic experience of that experienced at other more«mainstream» bars in downtown… The place is just the right size with plenty of TV screens and generally friendly staff, pricing is reasonable for a bar with various specials and food is fairly decent for bar food consisting of a fairly generous menu. Towards the later part of the night I did notice the loud upbeat music encouraged some of the boozed crowd to start dancing so I can see why a previous Unilocaler mentioned this, however, I dont think this is a daily occurrence though, it really depends on the crowd. I have been here twice now and have had a good time both times. Overall a good find.

Stopped in to see the tourney picks drawn and have dinner. Plenty of TVs all around including a large projection screen. The fried mushrooms were a great starter, and I had the wings for dinner with a hot Asian sauce that was great. They give you a ton of choices for sauces from mild to super hot! My wife had a huge club sandwich that almost looked to big to finish. The service was good, the place was friendly, and the prices were decent. Would highly recommend a visit. We did poke our heads in the place up the street, but it was dark and uncrossed so we passed it by.

Although Piper’s is labeled as a sports bar, on Friday nights, they secretly want to be a dance club… which is fine by me! At least that was the case on the Friday I was there. Games adorned the TV but fun pop music was being played by the DJ. And it was so fun that many of us got up to dance — and it was only 10pm! The menu is typical for a sports bar but I must say it all looked delicious when it was brought to our table. Especially the supreme pizza. I didn’t have a slice but if I was hungry, I would have probably inhaled it. It was layered with vegetables and pepperoni and looked mighty delicious. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. Not sure if it was the fun music but they seemed to be enjoying themselves as well — a testament to a great business.

Went here to meet up with a friend to watch a UFC fight, seemed like any other local bar however charging 5 dollars per person seemed a little extreme. Service was decent.

This review maybe be biased in a way. I’ve recently moved to the downtown neighborhood and I needed to find a new Sunday hangout. The first Sunday I headed out my friend happened to have a gift card for Piper’s. So after I spent all morning searching for a «Steelers bar» I conceded and agreed to go in. We walk in the main door and the bartender takes one look at us and said, «Go into the back room» We walked into the back room and all my dreams were realized. On the projection screen was the Steelers game and everyone in the room was wearing black and gold. It was fate. I’ve been back every week since. It’s just a small group, and I don’t think it’s officially«Steelers Nation» but it works for me. Now I’ve been twice before my fateful trip but just stopped in, sat at the bar, had a drink and left. But the service always seemed quick and friendly. Recently I have started trying some of their foods, so far my favorite is just plain old tater tots. Nothing like pounding 2 dollar drafts while eating a childhood favorite. I’ve also had their plain fries and their bacon cheese fries and both were delicious. They have a semi spicy seasoning on their fries which is delectable. They also have very delicious ranch. I’m not one of those who gets a side of ranch to dip everything in, but my friend is and I tried it, it was very very good and tangy. As the weeks go on, I’m sure I will have more food and be able to give a better review. The two bartenders who work the back room are also very nice and quick. But as is, if on a Sunday you want cheap beer, cheap(good) food, and watch some football, head to Piper’s downtown. Side note: If you’re not a Steelers fan you may want to stay in the main room ;0)

I have only visited here once, for an event, where we were supposed to watch a TV show on the big screne in the back room, but there was a storm that took out the Direct tv satalite, so we left cause we couldn’t watch our show… in the mean time before the tv went out, I was pleased with everything that was given to me and with the staff. :D they have strongbo cider, which is a plus!!!(anywhere with cider has a warm place in my heart), I tried the Crosaunt sandwich which was delicious with brie, cranberries, apples and turkey… so fresh for a «bar» food type place. Our tender was super fun and she remembered everyones drink orders… so, it wasn’t bad, but it sucked that our event had to be moved to another location… BUT!!! one of the managers gave us free parking vouchers and gift cards to come back… SOOOO…I’ll def be using my gift card cause that’s a pretty sweet deal and they want to take care of their customers… I LIKETHAT!!! :D

Really like this spot downtown. They have some really great Happy Hour specials. Excellent place to kick back with friends and have a few drinks. I tried the bacon cheese fries and loved them. They were a tad on the spicy side for me; but, I have a sensitive pallet when it comes to spicy food. They weren’t so overpoweringly spicy I couldn’t eat them though. My husband, who can eat the hottest of the hot, didn’t notice it at all. I also tried the chicken fingers. They came out very quickly and very nice and hot. The taste was average; however, they were HUGE. So huge I had enough to bring home and have for another meal. Loved the DJ who was playing. Music was so awesome it just made me want to stay longer and have more drinks. Love the TVs everywhere you turn. Hubby and I are both huge Magic Fans and we are both sports fans in general(of pretty much any and all sports). Excellent place to come catch a game if we’re not feeling like staying at home. I’ll definitely be back again and next time I’ll have to come more hungry so I can try this fabulous burger everyone is raving about. Will review again once I get a taste of it.

I feel like I should write two separate reviews: one for the cheeseburger and one for the actual place. The cheeseburger would get 5 stars — it was seriously yummy. The place? Not so much! I was there with a large group, which the staff assured us was just fine. Our server was friendly and took our orders promptly. It was the delivery that wasn’t as prompt. It took forever to get our drinks — when I finally got my Diet Coke(I know, tough order!), I actually paced myself because I just wasn’t sure if I would ever get a refill. Food came out at weird times and in a totally random order. Staff members would come out with a dish, shout out the name of the meal, and leave it to us to figure out the rest. Mass confusion all around. I think they’re trying to go for a fun atmosphere, which would be great. However, their version of fun seems to consist mostly of making the music louder and louder. I actually had to shout to the person sitting next to me…

This review is solely based on a late night(semi-intoxicated) visit, just am FYI! #1 — They have magners ;o) In a can but they have chilled glassed, points! #2 — They have an awesome bacon cheeseburger that did the job as I was famished and just wanted a great burger!(Dowtown Pourhouse still had my vote for best burger, however this one was still pretty good). When it came out the bun was WAY over toasted but as soon as I asked if it was supposed to be that way, The Manager, Travis, took my plate immediately and had me a new bun in under a minute. Super nice Travis, thanks! TONS of TVs and it looks like there is even a huge screen in a back room which would be AWESOME for viewing away games of the magic… Can we say next LadyBallers meet up!!! All in all, pretty good place, sad it’s tucked away in the Plaza, it’s unfortunate because not everyone is aware… but don’t doubt it… try it out! I will be back soon, in a sober state, to truly get a good feel for this place!

TV screens everywhere and hi-tech jukebox… The’ve got nightly specials, definitely check out the daily deals. Awesome location; just park in the plaza(Pine St. & Cathrine) and it’s right there. Right in The Plaza complex downtown, great place for drinks before or after a movie, happy hour after work, meet up with friends for a night out… great atmosphere for a non«clubby» fun.
