So we came to Orlando from Houston. After Houston I’m pretty picky about bbq. I read some reviews and decided to try it because it’s so close to my house. However I was really nervous about the brisket being reported as dry by other reviewers. Brisket is my thing. They seemed to have figured the dry issue out. I’m putting it as #2 all time best brisket. Only Rudy’s in Houston was better. The St. Louis ribs my wife had were beyond ridonculous. She douses everything in sauce. She forgot to even use it. Meaty. Spiced well. Man they were good. Son seemed to enjoy the pulled pork sandwich. He ate it up quick. Everyone loved the fried okra. Even my daughter who hates things she’s never seen before. She’s 9. She ate more okra than all of us. Liked the macaroni too. I thought the sausage was pretty unremarkable. Good. Didn’t stand up next to the rest. Hush puppies were a treat. I was transported back to my grandmas in Kentucky. Really nice. Wanted to try the dessert but I was just too full. I thought the beans were outstanding. Vinegary and spicy. Prices were very good for the portions. We will be regulars.

Great smoky meats and awesome homemade sauces. This part of town needed some good BBQ and now they have it!

Food ok. Ordered take out. Shame on me for not checking simple order. Cashier got most of it wrong. Charged us for food we ordered but did not receive. Place was very slow. Do not assume order is correct.

Let’s start by talking about the fact that my daughter has food allergies(egg, dairy, peanut). She is able to have most of the meats because they are simply rubbed and smoked(few BBQ places are able accommodate)! They also make their own sauces(free of all the fake stuff and caramel coloring)! The cook made our daughter a corn side without butter for her allergies, so they were very accommodating!!! My wife and I had the pulled pork(nice and juicy) and the pulled brisket(a little on the dry side) both complimented by the excellent sauces. We also had the Mac n’ Cheese(delish!) and the fried okra. The Hush Puppies were NOT to be missed(Long John Silvers who???)! This place is a few miles from home and I’ll definitely be back! Punch card is a bonus!

A solid 3.5 stars. I ordered the 3 combo platter which comes with 3 meats, 2 sides, and 2 hush puppies. The pulled pork was really good, better than the brisket and ribs. Brisket was kinda dry and the ribs were decent. Mac and cheese tasted very plain but hush puppies were good and crunchy which I liked. Next time I’ll just get the pulled pork sandwich.

Awesome barbecue and a fantastic selection of REAL craft beers! Try the fried okra, you’ll be pleasantly surprised! The white bbq sauce is also incredible.

All I can say is DELISH! This was our 1st time trying and we will definitely be back! So much better then most BBQ places and the prices are very reasonable. Their Brioche buns are so good and are big enough to hold the meat without falling apart. Their sides are homemade and not from cans or boxes. The customer service was awesome, and they were really friendly and helpful. We called ahead an order and it was ready for pick up in about 15 mins. For a family of 4 we got 1 and ½ lb of Pulled Pork(had just the right amount of seasoning with a hint of smoke) which was very tender and flavorful, a pint and ½ of their Mac & Cheese which was good, a pint of Baked Beans which had a touch of sweetness and 6 of their Brioche Buns(which they kept warm for us until we picked up which was really nice of them so when we got they were warm and soft) and it only cost us $ 38. Even after all of us eating we still have leftovers for 2 meals, which is fine by me! :) They have 5 sauces which all seem homemade, they had a Tomato BBQ, Mustard BBQ, Sweet BBQ(which was awesome!), Vinegar BBQ, and a White BBQ(ranch). The only downside is they don’t have to-go packets, but do have plastic containers to put it in. Overall we were VERY satisfied and can’t wait to go back and try some more items!

Excellent pulled pork and home made sauces. Mac n cheese was great. Brisket was dry, but not bad… I know it’s hard to make good brisket. Good quick service, can easily have on a thirty minute lunch break. I would give 5 stars if not for the baked beans, those were extremely generic. edit: they improved the baked beans.

My wife and I both got the 50⁄50 sandwich(half brisket/half pulled pork). It was very good. Both the meat and the BBQ sauce are extremely good. The service was a little slow at first put it picked up when another worker came in. If you like BBQ, you have to try this place.

A BBQ restaurant right down the street from my house? Dangerous. I mean, dangerous for me, it being so close and my weight management difficulties being what they are. And dangerous for RM because they’re in the Shopping Center of Doom, where good local businesses go to die. Let’s hope that they’re the ones to break the cycle. So, the meat should be the focus, and as such a little extra weight goes to that in my rating. I ordered the brisket platter, with two sides: fried okra and baked beans. I’m not completely sold on the sides, but I didn’t dislike them — I would order them again. They just seemed… maybe a little generic. I liked the brisket — there was a lot of it in the platter, and it was very tender. If I’m nitpicking, it wasn’t as smoky as I had hoped, and the preparation didn’t lend itself to a very distinct flavor. The wide variety of sauces available makes for an acceptable workaround. To be fair, 4R is guilty of the same with their brisket if you ask me. I do love sauces, so it’s not a big deal, but I like a brisket with bold flavors in the rub, and a good long smoke to really let the flavor soak in. Anyway, the people are friendly and the restaurant looks really clean(although I got takeout on my visit). The punch card they offer is good for a free sandwich after 10 punches, which is a nice added benefit. Overall a big, tasty meal at a reasonable price. There’s a 100% chance of my returning to try more of the menu.

Welcoming atmosphere with quick service. We tried the pulled pork, pulled chicken, hush puppies, red skin potatoes, baked beans, black Eyed peas, and mac-n-cheese. They had a variety of Bbq sauces to experiment with as well. We didn’t try any desserts because we were so full from our feast. Clean dining area and clean bathrooms! We will return for future dining experiences. There’s more on the menu to check out! Bonus… I’ve earned 3 stamps on my Red Mountain loyalty punch card already. After a full 10 punches, next sandwich is free!

Had the brisket sandwich and a side of mac n cheese.(I did take out, but I think you order at the counter even if you order in). Brisket was alright. Meat was tender, soft bun. There was a big chunk of fat in mine, but the surrounding meat is a good value for the price($ 5.75). The meat isn’t overtly seasoned, so the BBQ sauce added what was lacking. I was disappointed to see that there wasn’t a «sweet» sauce, but the tomato based BBQ has a great flavor. Strange… the sauce came off as too tangy when I tasted it alone, but like I said it’s great on the meat. The mac… for me, I added a pinch of salt. But it was damn good. Beats Bubbalou’s and Sonny’s by a mile. My guess is that I’m gonna earn a free sandwich by Christmas(punch card… free sandwich after 10 entrees!)
