I go here every few weeks for lunch, and it’s amazingly consistent. My favorites are the noodle bowls, a tasty mixture of noodles and salad topped with your choice of protein. My favorites are the grilled pork and grilled salmon. They come with a fried spring roll, but I prefer to request the steamed on, which is served chilled with a delicious peanut sauce. Service is reliable, and the place is pleasant for a strip mall, with pretty cool blue halogen lights and airy woodwork.

So my brother and I were pretty weary about eating here since we usually eat our Viet cuisines appropriates in Viet town. Surprisingly, this establishment had abundant, tasty flavor! Also, a favorite of the meal was the hot green tea, which soothed our aching throats(sore throat bugs took over our immune system that weekend) I was boring and ordered the tasty and abundant pork with eggroll vermacelli. My mom was impressed with her chicken curry dish. And my brother was pleasantly surprised with his spicy viet soup. If we ever do not want to make the drive to downtown, Rice Paper is our alternative for Viet cuisine cravings!

I eat lunch at Rice Paper a few times a month as it’s one of the better(if only) Vietnamese restaurants near my office. My go-to is the sautéed pork bun(rice vermicelli bowl) with summer roll. While the bowl is great, it’s comparable to several others I’ve had around town. The thing that has me addicted to this place is their peanut sauce; it’s my favorite in all of Orlando — perfect balance b/w sweet & spicy(I ad Sriracha like I do to everything) with velvety texture. Restaurant décor is nothing amazing, but as I go for lunch I’m mainly focused on food and not ambiance. Service can be a little slow and sometimes it can take several times to get everything you ask for(extra sauce, extra bowls for sharing, etc…). All in all this would probably get 5 stars from me if it wasn’t so expensive for Vietnamese food($ 10 before tax/tip). The same dish with an additional roll costs about $ 3 – 4 less in the Little Vietnam district downtown. But if you’re trapped in Dr Phillips this place is an oasis from the chain restaurant mecca that is Sand Lake rd.

This is absolutely the WORST Vietnamese restaurant we have ever had! Diners beware… first, the meat added to the phở never cooked in the lukewarm broth, the service was slow, and the phở is less authentic that the insta-phở you can get at the grocery store. I wish I could give it negative stars.

This used to one of my favorite restaurants. The food was okay, but the service was horrible. And, I ordered the Phở with eye round and brisket but they brought me an order with tendons. Gross! When I told them, they said they were out of brisket. So you bring me tendon? They didn’t even apologize! Back to Anh Hong next time!!!

This place was good. I mean it doesn’t look as authentic as the real Vietnamese food joints, but food was good. Ice coffee was close to the vietnamese ice coffees I used to drink back in LA. Food is still not as good as the vietnamese food back in Cali. But to be fair this place was the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had here in Florida. =P

We visited Rice Paper on a week night and had a surprisingly delicious dinner. The food was fresh and delicious. Our friend, who had not had Vietnamese before, is completely hooked. She had a delicious rice dish. My husband had the special Phở and I had marinated spare ribs that were fantastic. We can’t wait for another reason to go to Orlando.

this place is my absolute favorite when visiting my family back home in the very, very chain-restaurant-saturated suburban nightmare that is that portion of orlando/dr. phillips. first, it’s healthy — yes, i’ve lived on the west coast maybe a little too long but oh, fresh real food, yes please! the selection is great — there’re something for everyone. the service is always very prompt and attentive and can even stand my dad’s bad jokes. their iced-tea is great — unsweetened, jasmine or lemongrass or something, last time, i don’t remember. the best value, i think, are the rice noodle bowls — not to mention amazingly yummy! this is real, fresh, healthy food, and soooooo much better than all that chain junk surrounding it. do yourself a favor and check it out.

In a city where cookie-cutter, chain linked restaurants are regarded as haute cuisine, Rice Paper has emerged as an authentically local purveyor of well thought out, tastefully prepared and tasty Vietnamese ‘fusion’ food. The preponderance of ‘Asian’ Buffet joints in O-town has created a population ignorant of how good real Asian cooking can be. Rice paper is a much needed antidote. We typically get take out and it never disappoints. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Sublime. Amazing. A Must taste! I dine at this restaurant at least once a week, and whenever I have friends or family in town, I always take them to Rice Paper! First off it is a nice little hidden gem here in Orlando. Kind of tucked away, between Universal and Disney this unique restaurant offers a comfortable and chic atmosphere with pricing that will fit any budget! The staff at Rice Paper know my order, I always get tofu curry extra spicey with Jasmin Tea. The curry, and soups are to die for, and are really addicting! Once you eat there you will want to make it part of your routine.

It’s in a strip mall, but once you enter the restaurant, you’ll find that it’s décor is fine. It’s moderately priced, portions are maybe a bit smaller than you’re used to, but the food quality is great. The selection is nice, too.
