A good economic quick bite. I like their combination arepa. Clean location with good customer service. Empanadas and other dishes are good too. Love to have a fresh orange juice with the arepa. I will go back and back again when I crave arepas.

All I have to say is order the shrimp arepa with queso blanco and its soooooooooo awesome lol love their avocado chicken salad and there fresh squeeze juice is a must try! The garlic Sauce is the best to compliment the arepa but try all the different sauces they have to offer bc they are all good!

This place was quite filthy when I entered it. There was little engagement between the staff and the guests. When I had my soup, it was overpowered with a lemony flavor; my mother’s empanada was aweful, including it being drying. They also forgot parts of our order. Also, there was a table that was not cleaned for almost my entire time in the restaurant. If you enter, beware of the walls as well.

My wife and I both ordered an arepa with yellow cheese. Mine beef, hers was with chicken. We were delighted with the taste and texture of the arepa. The beef was delicious and tasted like ropa vieja. We will definitely come back and try their soups. They also serve patacones and chocolo. My wife is Colombian and delighted to find a restaurant in our neighborhood that serves delicious arepas.

I honestly love Arepas and on my way back from the airport– my loong way back, I spotted this little shop, Unilocaled it and gave it the equal chance of tantalizing my tastebuds. The layout will make even the most controlled foodie salivate; as you go through the line you see all the delicious food behind the counter, a la buffet style waiting to be served for your consumer pleasure. There are a couple of smoothie style drink machines with tropical fruit options as well as the standard fountain drinks and a pastry case with delectable flan… and honestly I had narrowed vision on the flan I couldn’t tell you what else was in the pastry case. Hypnotherapy perhaps would help me recall this factor. Guess you’ll have to go and sample this location for your own. I ordered the pork arepa with white cheese and the guava smoothie. The Arepa was deliciously flaky yet soft and melted in your mouth, yet beware with this bad boy and the white cheese. Cup runneth over and it’ll be everywhere including stuck to your face in traffic(how could I have missed that). I was a fan of the pork after I got past the hamesque style slices, to the more of pulled and arranged pork style, very tasty and the consistency was fantastic– love. Now the white cheese, I’ve never had it before doesn’t mean it wasn’t good– I’ve just never tasted anything similar to it besides blue cheese and goat cheese. Yes if blue cheese and goat cheese had a child, it would be the white cheese here. Yet it is dry, don’t try gobbling the cheese down YOUWILLCHOKE. It adds more flavors and textures to the meat and the bread. So very delicious. If I’m in this part of town again– I’d definitely return.

Best arepas in Orlando! They are always fresh as well as the ingredients of your choice up to 6 of them. I highly recommend this family restaurant.

Primera y ultima.

Absolutely amazing pabellon at this restaurant. I haven’t had the chance to sample anything else but I can say the pabellon was top notch. I did not order anything else so I can’t say anything about the arepas or anything. I will definitely stop by here again and try something different.

Ok so the food here is good, but really just good. I’m sorry to say that although the meat was cooked well– it was essentially flavorless. Size wise, they definitely fill their arepa’s to the brim. However, if it weren’t for their condiments it wouldn’t have tasted like anything. My friend had their lunch special which consisted of roasted chicken and mixed vegetables with rice. Average at best with the veggies just boiled and served unseasoned. My other friend and I ordered arepa’s and as we said– they were flavorless. The atmosphere was pretty awkward, although they spent a lot of money on granite counters and some other fixtures– there was absolutely nothing on their walls. I’m disappointed because this place is close to my house and I had high hopes, but alas– I probably will not be returning.

They are the best. When I moved to Orlando in 2006, a friend of mine took me to have an arepa at 3am after leaving the club. Best thing I’ve done in my life!!! After that, I went there every weekend and whenever I had a chance. They’re crispy on the outside and soft inside. With«carne mechada, pollo and queso blanco» and the«salsa alemana»(the light green one), it’s like going to heaven!!! I moved 5 years ago to Alexandria, VA and I can’t find anything close to El Saman here. When I visit friends in Orlando every year I have to go there at least 3 times before coming back home! I wish they had one here, miss those arepas so much!!!

Wow, absolutely delicious! I was never a fan of the arepa… till I dined here! I always get the carne(shredded meat) arepa with the queso blanco, and drizzled with garlic mayo and their own special medium picante. It’ll drip down your hands it’s so juicy. I want one now!

Best arepas in town! Try the shredded beef with white cheese or the shredded chicken with yellow cheese. Request the garlic sauce and you have yourself one mean arepa! During winter and fall holidays order their seasonal ham bread; its so good. They have the biggest Napoleon pastries I’ve seen!!! Enjoy this gem of a place…

YUM! Arepas!!! A co-worker of mine brought in a delicious lunch dish for me one day. I wasn’t sure what it was, but I gave it a try. It was an «Arepa». WOW. How good. And the Arepa’s at El Gran Saman are top notch. My favorite — the«Chicken Special Arepa». Let me explain this deliciousness — it is pulled chicken inside a corn meal pocket with a delicious chicken/potato salad and cheese on top. If you add the green(cilantro) sauce and the white(garlic) sauce — this is TODIEFOR! The store is in the middle of a shopping center and a little hard to see(it’s behind a Wendy’s). SKIPWENDY’s and try a Chicken Special Arepa from El Gran Saman. You will NOT regret it!
