I frequent this place because I work downtown and they have a lot of ore made options for sandwiches, soups, a salad bar and a rice bowl bar. My main complaint is how rude the staff is. Rice bowls come with your choice of rice, beans, meat and a scoop of salty onions and peppers if you so choose. As a vegetarian, every single time I go I have to ask for an extra scoop of the«veggies» and the lady looks at me like I’ve killed her dog. Maybe I’m insane that I keep coming back at least once a week to get the same thing, maybe she suffers from dementia. Either way, you’d think it wouldn’t be such a big deal for extra veggies when I’m not getting meat.

Great spot in downtown Orlando to grab a quick bite with friends or grab to-go. Puur caught my attention when my co-worker came back with their homemade chips. Mmmm what’s on those things guys?! I’m a crunch freak so when I tasted those this place became a must visit. Puur is almost hidden in plain sight. If you didn’t know about it you might not know it is there. Inside you have a spacious seating, open deli style ordering and the décor is pretty trendy. You can be specific about your order or you can go for one of their combinations. They have a variety of items from salads, rice bowls, soups, sandwiches, deli sides and ummmm CHIPS! If you read my reviews then you will note how much I love mushroom bisque soup. Their mushroom bisque might be better than Green Day Café and Infusion Tea put together. My favorite part about Puur is that I can get half a sandwhich, soup, and chips for under $ 10. Not a bad lunch deal in downtown Orlando. If you haven’t been you should really go. The service is fast and the food is always made fresh and of high quality. Oh yea… get the CHIPS!

Great place to grab lunch quick — the salmon is great and so are the rice bowls. The prices are so reasonable and they have a lot of options.

I have to say that I think Puur is better than its current 3-star rating. The location is convenient, the food is pre-prepared, delicious, and heated up quickly(kind of like a pizza joint that throws a slice in the oven). The salmon and chipotle chicken panini did not disappoint. I’ll admit the cafeteria style ordering threw me at first — you have to walk to food counters in the back to order and move to a smaller counter in the opposite direction to pay — but in the 3 times I’ve visited, I’ve experienced very pleasant service! All-in-all, a fast, healthy, and tasty option. 4 stars.

Healthy, cheap, fast food. I love going to this place for grilled chicken and veggies for a flavorful and nutritious meal. This place also offers. Wide variety of soups, sandwiches, and a burrito station. Definitely one of the best lunch spots downtown!

This place sucks. The only decent thing I have ever had here was the potato soup, which was actually delicious. Other than that, I have had nothing but bad experiences with their food and to top that off, they can be extremely rude. The other annoying thing about this place is their hours. They open too late to grab coffee or breakfast on your way to work(9:30 I think?) and close too early to get a late lunch(2:00 I believe). Additional detail: Cranberry Turkey Sandwich– literally SMOTHERED in mayo. I like mayonnaise, but this thing is swimming in it. Disgusting. «Cappuccino» — milk tasted a little off and it just wasn’t good. Also seemed to be completely lacking in caffeine. Build your own salad– chicken was dry, gritty, and bland, did not seem fresh at all. And for my most disgusting experience… I bought an apple from the front counter wrapped in saran wrap. Looked like a perfectly normal, nice apple. Got it upstairs to my office, cut it open and discovered it was literally ROTTEN inside. So disgusting. Thought about going back to complain but didn’t want to bother with it. What tops my bad experiences off with«Simply Purr» and the final thing that makes me want to never step foot in here again is how rude the staff can be. I was passing by the restaurant late afternoon and saw that their door was open. I assumed that meant the restaurant was open. When I walked in, there was some sort of staff meeting going on at a table and someone(I presume the manager) informed me that they were closed. I responded politely and walked out, only to hear him laugh make some rude comment about how it was possible I didn’t know they were closed… Ummmm maybe you should close the door? I have heard others complain about the poor customer service here as well. The only reason this place is still alive is because of its location. I keep wanting to give it another shot, but with terrible customer service on top of disgusting food, I just can’t anymore. I really hope it fails so that something decent with normal hours can replace it.

Pros 1. It’s fast 2. It’s very reasonably priced 3. Excellent variety and selection 4. Unique style restaurant for downtown. 5. Pretty close to restaurant food without having to pay tip Cons: 1. Food is hit or miss… some items are excellent, some not so much. 2. Meats and veggies are usually very fresh 3. Some reheated items miss the mark 4. Hours

Went there today to pick up a quick sandwich. They close at 230pm. I was there at 2pm. Walked up to the sandwich counter. The male employee said«You’re going to have to have a cold sandwich. Ovens are off!» That completely turned me off. First off all, do NOT tell me what I should have. He lost my business and probably countless others because«the oven is off». I wonder if Management is aware that they are shutting down operations 30 minutes before closing. Or are things so tight they can’t afford their electricity bill? DONE with this place and will go elsewhere where my business is appreciated.

Decent for lunch downtown, though always chaotic with its multiple cafeteria lines for soup, salad, and sandwiches. I like the cuban sandwich and the portobello soup, though I usually try to be good and have ‘em build me a salad instead. They have a Peet’s Coffee bar as well, though I haven’t tried it, but wanted to point it out since there is a dearth of coffee options in downtown.

This place reminds me of the Patuxant dining hall at Towson University(shout out if you know it — Go Tigers!) They have a number of stations that customize your food when you order. Burritos/nachos, sandwiches/panninis, salads, and a few other options. I got a great rice bowl for $ 5.99 — it was great. I really enjoyed it. You get your choice of rice, beans, protein, lettuce, sour cream, guac, cheese, salsa. Yummy. They have some pre-made items in an easy grab and go case. Also, they have a coffee bar. I like their coffee. I didn’t try it because I noticed it too late but they have one of those new touch screen soda fountains, which I’m super obsessed with right now. This is a great lunch place for those that work downtown. A good place for small group of co-workers who all want something different that day. The seating area is warm and welcoming. They have some outdoor seating for those not crazy humid or rainy days.

This is a cafeteria/deli combined with a small coffee shop. The sandwich selection is pretty good: I got the classic deli meal of half a sandwich(portobello mushroom) and a cup of soup(pasta fagioli), and that came with salt n’ pepper chips. Pretty tasty and the service was quick. There are also salad and taco options. On the other side of the room is a Peet’s Coffee which could save you the trip to Starbucks after your meal. Overall it seemed like a decent place to grab a quick lunch with coworkers, and I would return to try more. (I can confirm the other review’s note of there being no wi-fi)

This is basically an upscale cafeteria type setting. It’s on the corner of Church so it’s a great location, however, there is no free wi-fi and that makes me sad. I would like this place a whole lot more if they offered free wi-fi. It’s large with a good amount of sitting area but on a nice day, I would suggest to take your food around the corner and eat outside on the lawn. They have a variety of sammies, hot plates, fruit and snacks. They also have a Peet’s Coffee bar. Overall, it’s okay to stop in and grab a quick bite but there are so many more awesome places to eat downtown. However, if they add free wi-fi, I would stop in for a coffee fix more often.
