Smashburger is a favorite in our house! We are huge fans of the quick service, affordable prices, and great tasting food. The nearby Burgerfi and Shake Shake charge much more for the amount of food you get, and really the taste seems to be great if not BETTER at Smashburger. My husband and I went to this location on Valentine’s Day for lunch, and were served swiftly and efficiently. I ordered my burger wrapped in lettuce(a sweet option!) with grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and Swiss cheese. I also got a side salad, and my hubby and I shared a large order of sweet potato fries. By the way– the sweet potato fries here are probably some of my favorite in town! Needless to say, we are huge fans!

First time at this place and they sure didn’t disappoint! We went in the middle of a weekday so it was pretty empty(one other family inside) so I’m sure that aided in the speediness of food making. The burgers are made to order and the patty is «smashed» to perfectly fit the bun for equal meat to bread dispersion. We literally got our cups and filled our drinks up, chose to sit on the patio outside since the weather was lovely, checked in on Unilocal, and then tadaaaaa they guy was bringing out our food. Super fast! The food was really good for«just burgers» I got the BBQ bacon and cheddar burger which was so juicy and evenly flavored so every bite I could taste some of everything! My boyfriend got the avocado club and enjoyed it as well. He also got the veggie frites and I have to admit I did like them better than the regular fries. MUST try them as an alternative side to fries. Yum. The place inside was clean and organized, same for the patio area. Just maybe the patio table sizes were a smidgen too small in my opinion since the food is brought out to you on a large tray. And both of our trays took up the whole table and our drinks sat squished on the edge. All in all– go get a burger from this place! Oh, don’t forget a shake! Cookies and cream hit the spot!

The reason I’m giving this review 2 stars is because my boyfriend and I both got food poisoning from my food there. The food was delicious and the service was great. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. However within an hr after eating there I was completely sick and so was my boyfriend. We both got food poisoning. It was terrible and I’m still a bit sick from it.

This place is so good! The burgers are huge and cooked perfectly! I also got the peppermint crunch shake, best one in town. Check this place out!

4 Stars for great service, made-to-order burgers, and inventive combinations. I’ve been to Smashburger a few times now and the main thing that always stands out is the service. You order at the counter, but unlike a lot of other similar-style joints, the employees here are walking around clearing tables and offering to grab you sauce. Second thing to note is that this place is always spotless. This is definitely a plus when you look at the other fast food alternatives in the area… You know I’m talking to you, Pollo Tropical! But all of this is moot without a good burger. Luckily, their burgers deliver. They’re cooked to order, smashed to a perfect width and diameter(covers the whole bun), and enveloped by an awesome egg bun. You can go classic or try something unusual(truffle and avo and chicken– oh my!). So many combinations and even a choice to build your own from a large array of toppings. Also, shoestring fries. Need I go on? ~droooool~ Overall, I’m glad to have another solid burger in town. While not my absolute favorite– it wins in speed and service over the other burger spots!

Does Orlando really need yet another burger joint? How many burgers can one Orlandoan eat? Well, Chad and I recently decided to scope out Smashburger, a recent addition to Orlando’s thriving burger scene. And for us there is a number of new places offering burgers for the veggie crowd, from house made black bean patties to quinoa and mushroom variety. Gourmet burger joints have become all the rage– from Shake Shack to BurgerFi to Burger 21. Smashburger is a chain with over 300 restaurants in 32 states and 5 countries. Do not confuse this place with a McDonalds wanna be– everything is cooked fresh to order. Burgers don’t sit in a steamer and fries don’t cook under a heat lamp. We had heard great things about their Vegetarian black bean burger– though the burgers are not made in house at each location, the recipe is exclusive to the Smashburger brand. However, one thing to note– the vegetarian patty is cooked on the same surface as the meat products– there is no designated veggie grill. If you can get over that then the veggie burger is pretty decent. The Avocado Ranch Black Bean Burger is actually better than decent. The burger patty itself is spicy so the avocado and ranch were nice to cool the heat down a bit. Lettuce, tomato and pepperjack cheese add more flavor to an already tasty combo of toppings. We ordered a few sides to share– one being the Smash Fries. Thinly cut potatoes tossed in olive oil, rosemary and garlic. Delicious and crisp. We also tried the Fried Pickles. Chad and I are normally a big fan of fried pickles but these didn’t do much for us. A little too greasy, the breading was soggy and the pickles were very sour. Not the good sour most pickle fans crave, but a watered down soury blah taste. We can definitely find better fried pickles elsewhere. Perhaps our most favorite item, however, was the Veggie Frites. Fresh green beans and carrot sticks flash fried served with a side of ranch dressing. These were pretty tasty and an extremely rare find in a burger place. I love that they served these– anything to get kids to eat their veggies is a big bonus in my book. Veggies rule. In general, we liked Smashburger– the veggie burger was good and the veggie frites were unique, however, the fried pickles were passable. And most importantly, the veggie burger isn’t truly Vegetarian as it’s cooked in juices on the same grill as its meat counterparts
