I come in a couple times a month for lunch. Often enough to expect to see familiar faces, but this store must have tremendous turn-over in employees recently because every time I go in lately they seem to be training someone new. And nobody wants a sandwich artist in training. The food is consistent in taste, but preparation/assembly is lacking. I just had one of the messiest subs you could imagine. To make matters worse the serving counter is designed so they can have two cashiers during busy times(I’ve never actually seen them do this). But recently they have been trying to have two sandwich prep areas converging into a single register… I don’t really get what they are trying to do there. They over-complicated something that was super easy and efficient. Hopefully the service improves, this had been a pretty regular lunch place for me on busy days but I may have to give up my subway diet.

Out of all the Subway’s here in south east Orlando, this one is by far the best. I visit two other subway locations, one on Hoffner and another on Lee Vista, and while they are decent, this one is my favorite. For starters, the service is always quick. Even when I come in right at lunch time, I never wait more than a few minutes. They seem to adequately staff this location which helps keep the line moving. Also the employees are generally pleasant. As for the food, it’s subway. Nothing much to say here. This one locations’ bread seems to be very consistent and better than the other locations I visit. The wheat bead is nice and soft at this location, every time. I don’t know if it has to do with the training or the equipment compared to the other Subway’s.
