It may not have been the most gorgeous nail salon I’ve ever been in but the people were incredibly friendly, they squeezed me in but did not make me feel rushed kindly enough, and did a great job with my nails! I got my eyebrows done as well and it’s possibly my favorite I’ve ever had them look. So certainly don’t avoid this place if you’re looking for a mani pedi or especially an eyebrow wax, I really liked them.

Bottom Line: I wouldn’t go back. There are too many other choices.
I would describe the $ 22 manicure as the same quality and effort my ex husband would put into a foot massage when he knew there was nothing coming in return ;(
It was barely a step above a polish change. OK — she washed them too — but there was nothing that came close to «scrubbing».
And the massage was non-​existent. I kept thinking it was coming then the next thing I realized — she was polishing.
I wasn’t grossed out — there was nothing glaringly wrong here — just no reason to ever come back.
I wish I had read the reviews first — I was just in a rush and it was right there …

You know, places like Sunlight Nails makes me wish that Unilocal provided half stars! I don’t think they deserve two or three stars! What a conundrum.
My reasoning, in +/​-​list form:
+ very affordable pricing
+ walk-​in availability
— sign on window praises having sterile tools, but when asked about a fresh pack of tools for my mani, she replied with a sassy, «it’s been sanitized.» I asked for fresh tools and she said she’d just taken it out of the machine. At that point, I gave in.
— not the biggest selection of colors
— their pedi chairs have seen better days
+ the woman was gentle
+ killer arm massage
+ the music playing was coffee house female singers covering blues and seventies rock
So I’m still between star ratings. I’m flipping a coin!
Two stars it is via the universe.

I moved to the area about a year and a half ago and tried a few nail salons before I found Sunlight Nails. I have been going there ever since. Chris does my nails and always does a wonderful job. He is also very friendly and we always have a good conversation while I’m getting my nails done.
I also get my eyebrows waxed there as well and have always been extremely happy with the results.
The staff is very friendly. I wouldn’t go any where else.
I would use any of the staff for a pedicure or eyebrows but I will only have Chris do my nails, when he’s been on vacation I did use Lee and he did a good job as well.

i called and actually asked if they had time for a shellac since i just got off work i just drove from lake mary and i was 5 minutes away at 630 and i saw they closed at 7 so i called– they said yes they had time & i got there and i get someone in a hurry at #6. seemed like a nice girl till she was in such a rush she actually cut my cuticle and made me bleed. still had me pay the full price and did a half ass job on my nails. & not to mention my bandaid on my newly shellaced finger.

Horrible experience!!! First n last time I will ever come here!!! I honestly wouldn’t give it any stars!!! I originally wanted a French on my feet but my toe nails were too small n I didn’t like it!!! So I told the lady I wanted to do full color instead and she got snappy with me n told me she was still charging me $ 27 dollars (French is $ 5 more) ! In front if everyone, as if I were trying to be cheap. To me it wasn’t about the cost I just wanted my feet to look nice!

I went here for my first pedicure yesterday, and for my third manicure of my life. I never get my nails done because I always ruin them since of my job– touching cars and car parts. It was a pretty good experience for the most part.
The girls that did my nails and my boyfriend’s mom’s nails were pleasant for the most part. My boyfriend’s mom has been going here for years now.
Very inexpensive, but pretty good for what you are paying for. I’ve been to nicer looking salons but hey, if you just want to get a mani/​pedi without all the frou-​frou stuff, go here.

Nikki is the greatest. She gives the best pedicures and I love the way she does my nails. This is my 6th year of coming here and I would highly recommend this place everyone here is very pleasant.

My friend and I are searching for a good place to get pedicures, we decided to stop by here because it was recommended to us by a neighbor.
My experience here was just meh. it wasn’t anything special. I would’ve given 3 stars because they put the polish on properly and its not chipping a week later, but the woman who was doing my pedicure gave my feet these massive blisters! I’m standing and walking around all day at work in flip flops and I had to leave early the following day because my feet were in so much pain. My friend didn’t get blisters, but she wasn’t satisfied with her experience either.
Needless to say, I will not be going back here and my journey for a great nail salon will continue. If you want just a mediocre experience for $ 22 then get a pedicure here…

I have forever searched for a place to regularly get my eyebrows done and have finally found it! I was recommended by a co-​worker of mine and took the leap of faith one day and haven’t looked back since.
Irene is my eyebrow angel– she’s sweet, super friendly, and most importantly, she listens and gives me exactly what I want every time. Of course no girl wants that «surprised» look, or eyebrows that are too thin and she totally gets it!
I love her work and will go back again and again until she’s not there anymore!

The best nails I have gotten in town! They grow out great and never lift, and they dont cut or burn you with the drill. Dont do as much nail art though.
