Ok so I thought I had already reviewed them but I guess not. After my first 2 – 3 experiences, I would have given them 4 stars. However, since then, my experiences have gone significantly down hill. It started with really, really long wait times to get food at off hours — 30 minutes for order at the counter at 2pm? C’mon. Then, the quality went down. Once I had to change my ‘for here’ order to ‘to go’(because the wait was tremendous and I needed to get back to work). When I got my food and opened it, the chicken was barely cooked. I’ve experienced nearly raw veggies and grossly overcooked veggies. All in all, I was becoming increasingly disappointed but I really wanted to be happy. So, we tried again and had a FABULOUS experience about a week ago. The wait was minimal, the food was fresh and cooked perfectly. Yay, they redeemed themselves(!!!)…not so much. Today, we arrived and had ordered by 1:04. The cashier mentioned after we paid(which was inappropriate) that they were recovering from a lunch rush and ‘it will be about 10 minutes longer than usual to get food’. Ok, last time we got food in 8 minutes or so, I can handle 18. HA! 30 minutes later, still no food. Finally, my boyfriend had to ask for the food to go. Still no food. Watching everyone who came in long after us get their food prompted me to ask about ours. We were told ‘The spicy chicken takes longer to make because we make it from scratch.’ Ok, makes sense, but honestly, that should have been said the second I ordered it, not 35 minutes later. At 1:46 we were finally handed our food with a statement ‘Here you go, sorry for the 20 minute wait.’ WHAT? I was pissed. Then I looked in the bag, not our food. I asked the guy who took our order AND subsequently handed us our order about it — ‘That’s not what you ordered?’ Nope. I asked for a refund. While he worked to give me one, he also was flabbergasted that this had occurred and kept trying to figure out why — look at my receipt, look at the kitchen ticket, check the times, blah blah. Just give me my money back. So I got a refund and no food. AND, the wrong food wasn’t even offered to me as a consolation prize. I’m hungry and waited 42 minutes for nothing.(To be fair — We were apparently given 2 free appetizer coupons as compensation for our wait. I didn’t know that initially because it was in the bag of food my BF took with us — his order was correct — the spicy chicken– it was mine that wasn’t.) Now, if this was an isolated incident, I wouldn’t have written this review. But, unfortunately, this was just the peak of a series of bad experiences mixed in with one good one and that’s not enough for me. I want to come here, I really do. But don’t be an order at the counter establishment if it takes 30 minutes to get food out or be extraordinarily realistic about things — I love when places put on their menu about something taking longer to make because they are making it from scratch or whatever. At least I know what I’m getting into. Also, I went to dinner last night at a $ 30 per plate restaurant and it didn’t take that long to get my food. I’m going to go gnaw on my hand now. PS. It’s now an hour later and I still haven’t eaten. I’m getting increasingly annoyed at the way today’s experience was handled.

Your mail promotion(buy one bowl, get one free) has converted me in to a recurring costumer. Great food and awesome concept.

Stopped by for lunch for the first time and was impressed by my meal. When I walked in the restaurant was slow and had a few people dining in. There was no one in front of me when I walked up to order and yet I waited, and waited, and waited. It was a good two or three minutes before I was even acknowledged. Shortly after, an employee came up to take my order. I will say that he apologized for the wait and was friendly when taking my order. I went with the beef teriyaki bowl with vegetables and I also ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki for a friend. Since my order was to go, I took a seat and waited while my meals were prepared. My observation of the dining room was that it was a mess. Dirty tables and spilled soda on the floor. I’m not sure if I had just missed the lunch rush or if they were short staffed, but it definitely was not neat. My food was ready pretty quickly and off I went. I will say that we both enjoyed our meals. My beef teriyaki was so good. Some of the best I’ve had for casual dining and the vegetables were perfect. My friend enjoyed her meal as well. Overall, just an okay experience. The food was good enough to come back. It was reasonably priced, fresh, and tasty. Oh and don’t forget, if you check-in with Unilocal, you get a free egg roll!

For my first time trying their food, I used Doorstep Delivery. They estimated it was going to take about 75 minutes for delivery and I was very happy that it came in about 30 minutes instead. Got the chicken teriyaki bowl with brown rice and the chicken breast teriyaki bowl with the no carb option. I got that one spicy. We also got an egg roll and the tempura shrimp. The tempura shrimp was very good, I would get that again and recommend it. It was lightly battered and still crunchy even though it had been bagged twice. Sometimes, fried things tend to get soggy because of the steam that gets created when hot food sits in a closed bag. The sauce it came with was also very good, not too salty and it was light but still flavorful. I didn’t get to try my husband’s egg roll so I can’t comment on that. The chicken breast bowl was pretty good. They did make it spicy like I asked and it had a nice kick to it. The chicken was a little dry though most likely because it was all breast. It’s easier to get dried out when it’s on the grill. The veggies were very fresh though and I could tell they weren’t frozen. All in all, I would probably go back here again and maybe dine in next time. I want to try the cool chop fork thingy. That didn’t come in our bag.

Very long wait to get your order cooked. I recommend calling ahead with your order. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with fried rice and veggies. The chicken was flavorful but the sauce sat on top thick and gelatinous. I didn’t care for it. Next time I’ll skip the sauce. My fried rice was over cooked and sticky. It tasted like rice from a rice cooker with a few peas and carrots. Definitely Not stir fried! The vegetables were mostly cabbage with a few pieces of zucchini and broccoli. Also over cooked and mushy. The meal was underwhelming. The place was very clean and tidy. Décor was nice with comfortable seating. Two tV ‘s. Pepsi products only.

Favorite place to have a post-workout lunch. Service is always super quick and friendly and the food is always good. Occasionally though they will run out of white rice so be sure to ask.

Who isn’t excited by Teriyaki? So we tried it. And it wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t good, either. Quite honestly about as average as food court chinese food. I probably won’t go back just because it wasn’t quite my thing(and I love anything Asian). Oh well, been there, done that!

I actually had a really great experience at this location. Had never been to any of their locations before, so this was a first. The cashier who also turned out to be the manager, was incredibly welcoming and full of suggestions. The food came quick, and it was hot and tasted fresh. I will definitely be eating here again. For myself, I got the chicken teriyaki bowl with vegetables and rice… my 3 year old, a kids bowl with just white rice and chicken which she loved as well. My friend got the same bowl as myself however got the low carb version which instead of rice is all veggies plus the chicken of course. We were given water cups, but didn’t realize they were water cups, just thought small fountain drink cups. We got green tea, which was delicious. After looking around at others, we realized that we were given cups for water. We went to pay for the drinks, and the manager was gracious enough to say not to worry about it. Even provided us a with voucher for a free bowl next time we come in… Great customer services, and it wasn’t even their fault, it was ours since we forgot to order drinks. This location looks new, but not sure how old it is. I say it looks new because it was extremely clean. The décor is perfect and the tv kept the kiddo occupied. I really enjoyed my meal there that I offered later that evening to my partner to go and eat there again the very same day.

First time here and I’m very pleased. Good flow of traffic for Saturday lunch, prices are reasonable for the portions you receive, and overall satisfying experience. The food was good(I purchased the teriyaki chicken/low carb.) it came out of the kitchen nice and hot. The teriyaki sauce wasn’t overly sweet or salty. Fortunately for us(my party of 3) the manager helped us with our orders. A great dine in experience. I look forward to many more meals from this place. :) Thanks!!!

24⁄100 in 100 review challenge 2016 There was nothing bad about the food here. We went here because we purchased a groupon for 8.00 for two bowls. Once we got there, I checked in on Unilocal and there was a Unilocal deal for a free egg roll. Score. I ordered a bowl with the chicken breast and noodles and the hubby ordered a tofu bowl with brown rice. The noodles are a 1.00 up charge but it was worth it. Both bowls also came with stir-fry veggies. The drinks are from a serve yourself fountain area. Peach ice tea is the way to go. Yummo! The area was very clean and organized. This is also where you get your utensils from. All the tables had soy sauce, teriyaki sauce and sriracha sauce on them. The same person who took our order, brought it to us. I am not sure if they were short handed today or what, but I only saw one other person working. It is served in a to go microwave container even if you are staying. This actually helped me not eat it all. The food arrive hot and tasty. The egg roll was a good size just dripping in grease. The Portion size is worth the money. My chicken breast was cooked perfectly and was bigger then I had thought it would be. The sauce on top of it was very tasty. Good amount of veggies in the bowl also. The veggies were cooked just soft enough but not overcooked with cabbage, broccoli, carrots and zucchini. My hubby’s tofu looked good. I didn’t taste his but he said it was cooked perfectly. It had a nice rich color to it. The restaurant was fairly empty for a Saturday afternoon but was getting busy as we were leaving. The restaurant appeared clean and well kept. Much larger than it appears to be from the outside. There is only one outside table which I thought was strange. The restrooms were spotless. Forgot to ask for the forksticks, used the chopsticks instead. We would return if in the area but not sure we would drive all the way from Kissimmee for it.

4 stars for a healthy and relatively fast stir fry option. To start, I really love stir fry, especially cabbage. So this place gets me. They give you a very generous portion of vegetables(a significant portion of which is cabbage) and a meat topping of your choosing. You can also get noodles or rice, but I prefer this place for the vegetables and the fact that you get a reasonably healthy meal. I ordered the spicy chicken with vegetables. It was delicious. There was possibly a whole pound of chicken(I’m not sure how accurate that is, but there was just a ton of chicken) and a giant pile of vegetables. The spicy sauce was really good and the chicken was appropriately cut into bite sized chunks and nicely cooked. I would have preferred slightly less sauce, but I still really enjoyed it. My husband ordered an orange chicken bowl. He enjoyed the orange chicken and he also enjoyed the vegetables. The orange chicken is deep fried, not grilled like the spicy chicken. Despite generally enjoying his mean, he doesn’t think he’d get the orange chicken again. We also got a free egg roll for checking in on Unilocal. Overall, this place offers tasty stir fry for a reasonable price in a really convenient location. I recommend giving it a try.

Teriyaki Madness isn’t anything fancy, but it makes for a nice, inexpensive lunch. You order sort of like Chipotle — pick whether you want a bowl or a plate, pick your protein, pick whether you want rice, noodles, or veggies, pick your side. But instead of being assembled in front of you, it’s all cooked to order and then delivered to your table. Between us, my wife and I have had the spicy chicken teriyaki with noodles, and the tofu teriyaki with vegetables — both as bowls. On my visit with my wife, our orders came out together, since we ordered on one bill. When I went in by myself at lunch, though, I saw a group who had separate bills all get their food minutes apart from each other. If you’re the type that feels awkward eating when members of your party don’t have food, this may be an issue for you. Despite planning to eat in the restaurant, the food was all served in plastic to-go containers. While this is convenient if you have leftovers(tip: you can easily turn a bowl into two meals), the plastic is not only not recyclable in most areas, but they don’t have recycling anywhere in the restaurant. I’d rather they just serve me the food on reusable plates/bowls and allow me the option of getting a to-go container, as this generates a lot of unnecessary waste. But what about the food? I’ve really enjoyed my spicy chicken. It’s flavorful and has just a little bit of kick. For a bit extra, you can get it extra spicy. The noodles are good, and not too greasy. My wife liked the tofu chunks, saying that while they were fried, they weren’t too greasy either. Though, she did complain that the chunks were a bit large, and could have been cut up to a slightly more reasonable size. Our complaint is with the vegetables. It’s almost all just unseasoned cabbage. It’s healthy, but it’s very bland and uninteresting. For about $ 10/pp, Teriyaki Madness is a great spot for lunch.

I recently stopped in here for lunch while I was running errands on a weekday afternoon. This was my first visit here, and I was looking forward to trying Teriyaki Madness. I was not disappointed. This is fast food, so this is not a meal that you would get from a traditional oriental restaurant. But it is a great choice to have when you are looking for something other than the typical burger/sub/chicken sandwich with french fries lunch. For those who have not been here, the menu consists of starters, drinks, entrees, and noodle and veggie plates. I ordered a chicken egg roll for my starter($ 1.99). On the entrée menu, you select a protein. I picked the chicken teriyaki in a bowl. You can also have your meal served on a plate. Pick a base(rice, noodles), which was brown rice for me. Then you select a side. I went with the stir fry veggies($ 6.99). Drinks include fountain drinks and bottled water/drinks. Which is nice to have a choice, since most fast food places offer only fountain drinks. My diet cola(fountain drink) came to $ 2.99. Kids bowls and noodle and veggie plates are also offered. With a fountain drink, my total came up to $ 12.00. After you order, select a table, and a server will bring your order out to you. My egg roll was crisp and hot, accompanied with a sweet sauce for dipping. The chicken teriyaki with stir fry veggies over brown rice was delicious. And also filling. And as I mentioned earlier, this was my first visit here. I mentioned this to the young lady working the counter, Caitlin, and she was very helpful explaining the menu. As well as bringing my meal out in a fast and friendly manner. Credit cards are accepted. Since there was no posting of this, I had to ask if credit/debit cards can be used for a form of payment. During my visit, there was a employee on her break sitting at a table to the back of the dining area. During her break, she was talking rather loudly on her cell phone. So I selected a table in the front of the dining area. And I could still hear her talking! And I know if I could hear her conversation, the other diners could hear it as well. Don’t get me wrong. I do not mind if an employee is talking on his/her cellphone while they are on break. But I do not want to hear your conversation about your personal life. May I suggest making your phone call in a area where the patrons will not hear your conversation? Other than that, I would most likely come back here again for lunch. With all of the choices that are available, there are several protein/base/side combinations that I would like to try. Especially the orange chicken. Which I may do while running errands this week.

Definitely a great amount of food for the price. They pack their containers to the brim. We interacted with a cashier who was easy and awesome to talk to being newbies to the menu! We ordered the spicy chicken with brown rice and full veggies and the orange chicken with noodles and only zucchini and onions. It was all tasty! Will be back!

This isn’t authentic Japanese but it’s quick and cheap and tastes pretty good! It’s a few steps above the Americanized Asian food you get at the mall food court but the ingredients don’t taste cheap or like they came out of a can. I’ve been twice now and each dish can basically feed you two meals. Use the Unilocal check-in offer to get a free egg roll(if you order a rice/noodle dish)!

Hmm… Okay, benefit of the doubt for now, I’ll give it four stars. But I don’t know if it’ll stick. It’s pretty good if you get the right things. Personally, I liked the orange chicken but the spicy teriyaki chicken pretty much stole the show. If you’re a sriracha fan, that’s the protein to get. Avoid the teriyaki beef completely. It’s dry and chewy, and tasted like beef jerky that hasn’t had enough time in the dehydrator. The brown rice was cooked right, and the dumplings we got as an appetizer were pretty good(not better or worse than you can get elsewhere, but pretty good). If you’re not sure whether you want steamed or fried dumplings, they’l do half and half for you. The forks are half-chopsticks, half-fork(Forksticks?) but since the chopsticks are fused together at the fork end, they’re more like those spring-loaded«starter» chopsticks and as such are useless for most people. Happily, they also provide real chopsticks. Everything is brought out to you(regardless of whether you order dine-in or to go) in styrofoam containers, paper baskets, etc. The amount of waste generated by this restaurant must be staggering, and that kind of annoys me. It’s good food, if you skip the teriyaki beef.

Stopped in for a quick bite a bit unsure of what to expect. They stress fresh ingredients and that they cook fresh to order versus the heat lamp approach you get at places like Panda Express. They staff was friendly and two different people greeted us when we walked in. They were patient with all our questions and did a good job explaining things on the menu. I went with the yakisoba stir fried noodles with beef. The portion was huge with plenty of beef & fresh veggies with a good balance of teriyaki sauce, not drenched like some places, you could taste the components. My bf ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl with brown rice(I like that they have this option) and fresh veggies. It had enough heat to call it spicy which was refreshing! Some places slap that name on anything and you are left underwhelmed. We also ordered an app of steamed chicken potstickers to share. The dipping sauce was tasty but the actual potstickers lacked flavor. Maybe they are better fried — I just tried to go the«healthier» route. This place is nearby and I’d visit it again to try something different — I had plenty of noodles for my lunch the next day, great portion for the money.

Simplified menu and nice design inside. The food is good but not great for an affordable menu, almost like your typical Asian fast food chain. I think it’s still missing something that unique to them, I’ll stop here if it’s on my way but not if I have to drive some extra miles.

This red, gray and black themed restaurant has sweet meat goodness. You can order from the menu easily: pick a protein, base and side. My husband got the spicy chicken on salad which was delicious! I got the two proteins plate, orange chicken and Teriyaki beef with white rice and side salad. Just what you would expect from the name. The manager offered us to try the Hawaiian Macaroni salad. This little place is unique to any other shops on the Plaza. Give it try. It’s the first location in Florida.
