Did a terrible job on my hair. Asked for a left part and got a right and when I said I wanted a left part she said I gave you one in my left. Braided my hair so sloppy and held them together by rubber bands before making one big massive braid. Was in a hurry to finish and then kicked me out. Will not being back. Camila did a great job on my hair. I’m originally from Brooklyn and have literally have only had 2 people do my weave ever. So I was scared at first but she did an awesome job. And on top of it she gave me some awesome tips to maintain my hair. I never do reviews but she was definitely worth it!

Miss Mila is freaking awesome! As a Californian girl living in Virginia and now Florida, it’s been extremely hard to find someone who does my weaves like I’m used to. I made the decision to try Miss Mila even though $ 50 makes one a little skeptical. I haven’t turned back since and it’s been over 7 months. My hair has grown and become so healthy because Mila has what my mother calls «growing hands.» Her braiding technique is unique and grows your hair rather than pulling it out. I am extremely grateful and happy to have found her. I’m a simple girl but she makes me feel like a superstar each and every time I leave her salon. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I am just writing to review my experience in dealing with this place as I did not have my hair done and I don’t see myself going there anytime in the near future. First I have been trying to call this place on and off now for weeks. When I finally get someone, they don’t have the appointment book in hand and will call me back in a hour. I never got that call back. I called again figuring for $ 50 it was worth a try. This time same story I will call you back in a hour. One hour turned into 4 but at least I did get a call this time. I made my appointment which it is on the upstairs of a building with a hand written sign for the number 647. I drove by several times not noticing the number until I got out the car and walked. I opened the door only to be met by a whoosh of unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom which are located on the top of the stairs. I knocked on the door and waited about 20 minutes no answer. I called and inquired about finding this location and was told I was at the right place all along but since I am late I could either wait for the next client coming in to be done or I could reschedule. My whole problem is why no signs? Why no explanation of how to find the place. I get we are in the age of GPS but I wish I would have had a heads up either by the people who reviewed this place previously or by the owner herself. I almost feel as if I am in an alternate universe when dealing with this place. It is not worth the frustration, I would rather pay extra for better communication and perhaps a better atmosphere.

So I went see Ms. Mila’s Feb. 6^th. I was looking to do a weave that was affordable, excellent quality, and FAST. I got all that with Ms. Mila. All I did was that morning I washed my hair, blew it out, and headed to Ms. Mila. Once I was in the chair we go started. She was very down to earth and very knowledgeable about hair. She’s been in this industry for like 16 or 17 years. I brought 3 bundles of Genesis Brazilian wavy hair (22,20, and 18inches). She used every bit of it. :-) She did my hair so fast and so perfect. I did the 50 weave installation and it came out PERFECT. She said it will last me a month or months depending how well I take of it. :-) She does of course do some more extensive and high end installation as well that will much last longer. Many of her clients do those. I HIGHLY recommend EVERYONE who is looking to get a great and fast weave to see Ms. Mila. She THE BEST I’ve ever had. I will be seeing her again. I can’t wait.

I found Mila and the $ 50 weave studio plus while vacationing in Orlando. I was preparing for a bit of Jet-​setting and my layover in NYC wouldn’t leave me with enough time to see my normal stylist, so I began my search for a quality yeti expensive salon. Enter Mila. After looking at her website and Facebook page for examples of her work (and confirming that the owner was a licensed cosmetologist), I booked an appointment and showed up the next day. Mila was hospitable and a pleasure to chat with during the 1.5 hours (yes it was that quick) that I sat in her chair. I shampooed as blew dry my hair the night before so Mila quickly braided my hair into small cornrows and got to work. She is an experienced professional who also does high-​end weaves ($ 175+), that will result in a flater, more versatile and longer lasting end result. But if you only keep your weaves in for a month or two at most like me, the $ 50 product will probably work for you! I highly recommend her and tell her Miss Patricia sent you! (Inside joke– we became fast friends)
