Came here with a friend and we were seated. Once the waiter seated his he literally ignored us while being incredibly attentive to the table right next to us. Why? No idea. There were two waiters just standing and joking around. Not one of them nor the one who seated us even acknowledged us. The restaurant isn’t big and there was hardly anyone in there, just us, the people next to us, and one other table. The third time the waiter walked over he turned his back to us and clearly ignored us. At this point I was fed up. I just wanted to eat, pay, and leave. I don’t ask for much. I could’ve demanded someone wait us but you should’ve have to do that. No one bother to say that«we’ll be with you in a minute.» Is that really so hard? Tell us to leave otherwise. I’ve never had to walk out of a restaurant before but I guess there’s a first for everything. Side note: this isn’t an ad or anything but there’s a phở shop right next door called Little Saigon. Walked out and went straight there(I still wanted my phở goshdangit: I). The food was brought out fast(albiet the phở was just okay, nothing special) and the thing I appreciate most after being ignored at this(Anh Hong) awful place was how quick, prompt, and polite the waiter was at Little Saigon. Really though, what’s the point of rude, or in this case, NO service when there’s another place right next door :/

The food was ok, a bit greasy. There wasn’t anything special in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to in CA. Smoothies with boba are slightly bland. Also, I pointed out a bug in the phở and server didn’t think it was a bug and nothing was done about it. Overall, food and service were not worth the price.

This place is great! Loved their food. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty. I had the duck noodle soup. The broth was amazing! Friendly service too. We’ll be back!

The Phở was good but the broth was weak and spiced with some aroma, not only good beef stock. Good service, reasonable prices, good quality food.

Probably the best Vietnamese restaurant we’ve eaten in town! You know it’s good when the customers are majority Vietnamese. The hosts are friendly and the food is out of this world. Will definitely have to come back soon!

The foods and the services are great, but there prices are pretty expensive $ 20 plus for canh Chua $ 18 ca Kho $ 2:00 for ice tea and it’s not really an ice tea.

I have been to a lot of Vietnamese places for phở in Orlando and this is my favorite. The phở broth is extremely flavorful. The first spoonful hit the spot for my phở craving. Definitely check it out if you are craving phở!!!

Hands down BESTVIETNAMESEINTOWN!!! Everything always delicious! Ordered 2 #117 with add shrimp on one of them. Freshest and most authentic flavor every time we come over. Definitely a must if you like Vietnamese food. The Jazmin Iced Tea is a most! Soooo good! Thank you Cindy for always exceeding our expectations.

We haven’t stopped into Anh Hong in a while — and there was a drastic improvement in service from the last time! We usually stick to soups, but we were hungry from paint balling all morning so we also ordered several banh mis and they were absolutely delicious(and toasted!). The banh mi is not huge, but the meat to veggie ratio is perfect(which to me means more pickled veggies than meat) and only 3.95. When hungry two per person may be needed, but it still doesn’t break the bank. I’ll be coming back more often!

It had been a while since I had eaten at Anh Hong. Went there today for dinner. The restaurant was clean but the food wasn’t that good compared to other vietnamese restaurants. Grilled pork vermicceli did not have that much meat or vegetables and it didn’t taste terribly fresh. It was ok. The phở combination was ok, not great. The meats were ok but the broth didn’t have much flavor and was oily on the top. It did come with a nice amount of herbs however. The lemongrass chicken was pretty good. Had a nice amount of vegetables and good flavor. The papaya salad was sweet and lacked acidity for my taste. Overall, its alright but not my favorite vietnamese in the area.

Delicious!!! A great mixture of traditional dishes and unique twists to Vietnamese staples. The sauces were perfect. Everything was well-seasoned, flavorful, and perfectly executed. Get the crispy eggplant+tofu, clams(both styles are great), fried whole fish, duck salad, and banh beo appetizer. Nom nom

Small nice and fast paced restaurant. I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager. The phở is good and they all have types of sauce you need. Fresh vegetables and drinks.

Was a little disappointed with almost all the things we ordered. For beverages we got chia seed and«xi mui» drinks. The drinks were not what we expected. We had this drinks before at other places and this was not good. We didn’t even drink them. Chia seed drink has this strong smell and taste to it. The xi mui was just warm water and salt. I did not like that. We got bang beo. It was too soggy. The rice dish with Korean ribs were decent. This is my 3rd time here and so far it’s not one of my place to go. The experience that I had here are not great. I had a waitress lady that was so rude. Our food didn’t come out right. She even ask us that is all were tipping her? We wanted to take our tip back. She didn’t deserve tips with that attitude.

Been coming here for years during our travels. Nice to see that they reinvested in the décor. The food is legit, as compared to Orange County, CA venues I use as reference. Menu is huge and offers just about every Viet dish you could be looking for. The difficulty will be selecting one item. The banh beo/banh bot lot is among the best I ever had. You must try it. My boys say the phở tai was«5 stars». They eat a lot of phở so consider them phở experts. The broth looked a little fatty to me but I think that’s what they loved about it. Tons of flavor. Mi kho thap cam, def hit the spot. Quality meat and seafood with real crab pieces. Fresh vegetables abound. Hu tieu was as authentic as can be. Finally the iced coffees hit the spot and daughter loved the fresh pressed sugar cane drink. It’s almost 2:00 pm and it’s packed… as we are not the only ones who know of this gem that sits at a corner spot in Orlando’s Little Saigon. Can’t wait to be back!

They pack quite a few tables into a small space so be prepared to be cramped on a busy day. Our server was very friendly and made sure to come around quite often to check on us and refill waters. The food was okay. The summer rolls with the peanut sauce are my personal favorite and Anh Hong does them well. I ordered #93 as my entrée. The meat was flavorful, but this wasn’t my favorite Vietnamese meal ever. The food was also cold :\ not worth the money I spent. They promote being a Unilocal favorite, but it’s definitely not a favorite of mine.

We are in Orlando for vacation. Coming from a city where all Vietnamese food tastes like Chinese food, we craved for authentic Vietnamese food– Anh Hong did not disappoint us. We ordered Phở Anh Hong, Mi Quang and sugarcane juice. Mi Quang was very authentic and delicious, crackers were crispy, shrimps and pork were fresh and cooked to perfection, broth complemented other ingredients very well and there were plenty of herbs and salad. I just can’t say enough of good things about this dish. Phở was just fine — but don’t take my word for it as I grew up in the«birthplace» of Phở in Vietnam and my standard is unreasonably high. None of any Vietnamese places in the US have pleased me so far when it comes to Phở. For any of you who loves Phở, you guys must try a bowl of beef Phở Nam Đnh when you are in Vietnam. Yes, it’s a must!!! Sugarcane juice was good, I used to have it like every day when I was in Vietnam from beverage carts on the way to school. $ 6 here is kinda a rip off.

I wish they had a franchuse in NYC, came to Orlando for a family vacation and our friend brought us here! Authentic vietnamese home cooking. Everything tasted different, better! From the spring rolls to the bun rieu. Get the banh beo chen, which I’m told is an authentic homecooked dish isn’t served in restaurants in NYC by my viet friends! The broth for the bun rieu tasted so much more flavorful and nt watered down or bland, the noodles tasted different too. I love this place, too bad I can only come here like once a year! =(

Short and sweet, this is really a four-star(in Unilocal stars) restaurant I’m giving an extra fifth star to here for a very extensive and authentic menu – probably the most such of any of the Colonialtown Viet restaurants(though Phở 88 comes in very close second). The space is clean and bright, if possibly a bit small and the service is prompt and polite. Again, the menu is both authentic and quite diverse: the selection of Viet dishes you find in many Florida – and in general American – Viet restaurants just scratches the surface of Viet cuisine. Here, you see below that surface and get a greater diversity of choices. My food was very flavorful though the meat in my com thit nuong* was a bit dry. At each table you’ll find soy sauce, fish sauce, Sriracha, hoisin sauce, and a delightful homemade lemongrass-chili sauce. I cook Viet food at home and have tried making similar chili sauces – which are always best when homemade vs bottled from the store – and the one here is one of the best I’ve encountered in my own efforts to perfect this type of sauce. The array of various summer/spring/fall/winter rolls is also very impressive and they’re known for perfectly delicate yet robust summer rolls here. The prices are beyond reasonable and the food quality in general is high – though I think on some dishes, phở included, Phở 88 has them beat, however, Phở 88’s service is often lackluster at best and the restaurant, while clean, seems a bit tired and old after Ang Hong. Quan Colonialtown, represent! *-Yelp sadly doesn’t support Viet diacritics so yeah, the spelling is technically wrong. I don’t want to hear about it from native speakers, I tried and this is a Unilocal orthography issue, not a Mike orthography issue! Oh well, cái khó ló cái khôn, right?

These days whenever I go to a viet restaurant, instead of going for the usual bowl of phở, I always try to seek out the bun bo hue because it seems like every place adds their own little twist to it. So don’t go telling my mom BUT I’m pretty sure Anh Hong has one of the best bun bo hue’s I have ever tasted in my life. The broth was a nice burnt orange in color and super flavorful, the noodles of thick and chewy and there was tons of delicious cuts of beef and fatty pork. I really couldn’t get enough! My husband ended up ordering the combo phở bowl which was pretty huge and of course, delicious. He really enjoyed all the cuts of meat as well as the broth. We ordered 3 banh mi’s to go as our breakfast for our flight the following day. They were your standard combo banh mi’s — not crazy great but definitely not bad. Although, I didn’t get any 3 for $ 9 discount on my order so I don’t know what’s up with that. The pricing wasn’t too bad for the amount of food you get but I think the restaurant next door is slightly cheaper as according to a menu I found on google. As for service, it took a while for both orders to come out and our waiter was an interesting and sightly awkward dude. The interior of Anh Hong was somewhat smaller than what I initially anticipated… it just looked bigger from the outside but that’s neither here nor there. There’s a small parking lot around back that they share with a couple of restaurants and a supermarket on the same block.
