It’s hard for me to write this review because are wedding really did turn out more then amazing! The summerlin house is an awesome location for a wedding, it’s one of the greatest outdoor venues we came acrossed! For a great price too! If you love it book it! My suggestion is do not do any planning involving the coordinator, Joyce! Although wonderfully attentive the 3 days up until your wedding. Horrible to get ahold of before then. She offers vendor packages for convience, but it ends up being a hassle! (she still has not paid my videographer, and we gave her the money to do so starting last year and the final payment in march!) She forgets meeting details, who you are and didn’t book the vendors I asked her too. I ended up booking my own, even though I paid a vendor package to her she didn’t make any attempt to book the vendors, I contacted them to talk to her about doing our wedding. She will add a lot of stress to what should be the best day of your life! Also, I would request to use the honeymoon suite in the bed and breakfast attached for the bride/​maids to get ready in! The bridal suite in the summerlin house smelt of cat urine all over, and had cat hair on the couches and curtains. Not an awesome place to relax and get ready! All in all thankfully things turned out well, but if I had to do it over I would not use Joyce, I would take care of my own vendors, even the florist. She does floral but it’s too much stress working directly with her! Use the venue, it’s gorgeous! Just watch out for all the great things Joyce will offer you, she adds too much stress!

BRIDES BEWARE. My sister changed her venue from this location, which was her first choice, to another location because the coordinator was so difficult to work with, and my sister is such an easy-​going, even-​keeled person and a NON-​BRIDEZILLA bride who puts up with A LOT. For her to change the venue, well, it’s shocking! I just had to Unilocal about this! Other reviews herald the same complaints. STEER CLEAR OR PROCEED WITH CAUTION.
