Good food, descent price, and excellent service. Terrific theming adds to the experience, and butter beer. No reservations allowed, but they move quick.

Obviously the theming of this place is why people go, but the food here was pretty good too. My husband and I both got Shepherds Pies. They were very tasty. They also came with a salad which tasted fresh. The food is extremely similar to the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley, Universal Studios(next door). I do think I like Leaky Cauldron better because a staff member seated you. At Three Broomsticks you must find your own table. I do think there is more space at Three Broomsticks, though.

Get the chicken platter! And the chocolate trifle for dessert! SOOOOOOOGOOD. — There is a line to order your food, which corresponds to the same number to the pick-up window to get your food! The lady did not explain this to us clearly and we went to the pick-up line first :( + AFTER you’ve picked up your food, there will be an usher to help you find a table to sit. This is so nice so that people don’t feel the need to «save» tables and take up space when they’re just waiting This place is located adjacent to Hog’s Head where you can get beer.

You can’t go to Harry Potter’s world and not visit here. 1. Food: a) Chicken and BBQ Ribs plate: Chicken was moist and the flavor was great, not too salty. BBQ wasn’t bad but not memorable. The corn was roasted perfectly. The potatoes didn’t have too much flavor. b) Fish and Chips: The portions were tiny, they were about to give me 2.5 pieces of fish and I noticed that .5 sorry piece of fish. They really need to do some serious quality control c) Frozen Butterbeer: Tasted like frozen butterscotch slushy. I was really impressed with the flavor and consistency. Better than what I’ve read and expected d) Pumpkin Juice: Pretty watered down and not great 2. Décor: Straight outta the scene from Harry Potter :) 3. Price: Super expensive, but that what you get from the theme parks 4. Service: Typical, they don’t you sit until you have your food.

Love this place. Love the BBQ ribs and chicken plate with a whole corn on the cob that was roasted to perfection. At least I think it was roasted. The atmosphere is of course what makes this place awesome! The workers are also proficient. Random people can’t come in and sit down and eat food they brought from home. You are directed in line to go order. Then pick up your food at another line nearby. And then directed to a table. So they keep track of the dining tables. No bathrooms in here. So you better go wash your hand or whatever at the bathrooms located near by.

Naturally you can’t go to HP World and not visit the Three Broomsticks, even if you are old enough to remember when it was only two broomsticks! It has a fun atmosphere consistent with the rest of the park, and of course the three broomsticks hanging above the entrance make it legit. The high wooded ceilings, long wooden tables and chairs, and rusty metal accents give this place such an authentic feel that and you are just waiting to catch Ron and Hermione snogging in the corner. Unfortunately I had already snacked in Diagon so I didn’t try any of their fare but from photos and reading other reviews it sounds like their breakfast options are pretty legit. I’ll definitely have to give the food a try on the next visit!

GETTHEFEAST! This thing was a great deal for 4 people. I don’t think they had this the last time I came(2011) and you really can’t go wrong. Salad, corn on the cob, mixed veggies, chicken, and ribs for $ 50?! Yes please! And for park food, this was pretty good. Nothing was soggy, burnt, or overdone. It was flavorful and unexpectedly so. It did not take long to receive our food, and the line moved quickly. We were all pleased and impressed. I recommend the frozen butterbeer, which is another incarnation they did not have on my previous trip. My god, that is delicious stuff. If you are a fan of the Harry Potter world… the décor does not disappoint. They really did have a careful eye when building and dressing the building. You really feel like you’re in Hogsmeade and Hagrid could walk in at anytime.

The family feast is the perfect portioned meal for a family of 4 and for a great price of $ 50! Everything had great flavors, sliced potatoes with rosemary, 4 corn on the cobbs, broccoli/carrots/roasted red peppers, 4 ribs, and a whole chicken cut up into quarters, and a vinaigrette salad(lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and croutons). Any other place would have cost more getting our individual plates. Plus, we had leftovers!

We are some serious Harry Potter fans. Last time we visited it was summer and shoulder to shoulder people. This time, in February, we had a bit more space and waiting to get in wasn’t bad at all. We waited in line for maybe 20 minutes. The staff was so nice and helpful. The seating is worked down to a T. They seat you so you don’t have to try to find a seat. The restaurant is beautiful! Like a scene out of the movie. We got the great feast(corn, potatoes, chicken and ribs). It was absolutely wonderful! Everything tastes amazing. We got butter beer(normal, iced and hot) to share. We had such a great time. Well worth the wait in line!

As far as themed restaurants go, this is as good as it gets. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the crown jewel of the Universal Orlando properties, and the time and money they have invested to make sure every relevant detail is in place, and every guest fully satisfied, has really paid off. I got the ribs platter and my SO got the rotisserie chicken platter. The ribs were hit and miss, as in the platter came with two slabs of ribs and one was overcooked and dry while the other was juicy and perfect. The rotisserie chicken was excellent, cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Sides were standard for both, corn on the cob and herb roasted potatoes. Both sides tasted fresh, no complaints there. What really bumps the Three Broomsticks up to 5 stars is the service, which greatly Exceeds Expectations. This is a quick service restaurant, yet there were two hosts ushering us to a table, and someone checking up on us every few minutes, asking if we needed anything. A young boy sitting at the table spilled his drink, and two waitstaff immediately rushed over, one to clean up and the other to take away the empty glass and bring over a new drink, free of charge. Universal definitely pulls out all the stops to make sure visitors to the Wizarding World have a «magical» experience, and it works. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. As a side note, the Universal Dining Plan is probably worth it if you eat at the Three Broomsticks. It costs $ 20 and includes an entrée + drink, another drink, and a snack item. For me, the ribs platter was $ 16, plus a $ 4.50 pumpkin juice and a $ 6.50 frozen Butterbeer(counts as a snack, and better than the regular Butterbeer, IMO), plus a $ 3 soda later in the day. That’s a $ 30 value for $ 20.

Well, OFCOURSE we were going to eat at the Three Broomsticks. Be prepared for a wait. The line was akin to other attractions(read: rides) within Harry Potter world. It serves up typical Irish/British fare. You look at menus(and plated fake versions of each dish in a window) while you are in the queue. Once you make it inside the restaurant, if you can stop gaping at how awesome the décor is(if you read and enjoy Harry Potter, you will love it), you order at a cashier who gives you your drinks and a table number. You are then led to a table by a staff member and the food is delivered to your table based on the number attached to your order. It doesn’t take long as I’m sure most of these meals are pre-made and reheated to serve as many guests as possible. That being said, the fare isn’t half bad. I ended up getting the«Cottage Pie» which is pretty much Shepherd’s Pie. It was actually really good. The potatoes on top had a nice browned crispness to them and the filling was seasoned well. No salt and pepper necessary! There was also a nice side of salad as well. Of note, Gillywater tastes like water(well duh, right?). :-P

Food isn’t bad. My friend and I split the cornish pasties and a kid’s fish and chips, which actually came with grapes and applesauce instead of fries(boo, but I should have asked), and a frozen butterbeer. The pasties were fine but I was actually really pleasantly surprised by the fish — it was more or less perfect. I liked the frozen butterbeer but prefer the ice cream, which is actually a little less sweet.

Best dining option in Islands of Adventure! We were in Hogsmeade and this was one of the only dining options in this part of Harry Potter World. You can get butter beer at any of the stands or in some of the restaurants, and Three Broomsticks had both kinds of butter beer available. There was a line both outside and inside the restaurant that led to separate lines for cashier and food pick-up. There were guides for both lines outside and inside so that you are able to navigate through easily. We came during lunch hour so the lines were definitely lengthy but moved relatively quickly. There are also workers who signal to each other once you get your food to find you a table. I loved the costumes of all the workers inside this restaurant. I really felt like I was in Hogsmeade! food: + FISH&CHIPS: There were 3 – 4 pieces of really soft fish that wasn’t too heavily battered! They also came with potato wedges that were pretty crispy. Of the entrees, I definitely thought this was the better option and worth the price. ~ ROASTEDCHICKEN: This was a hefty piece of chicken with pieces that were soft and moist while other parts were a little dry. It came with buttered potatoes, that were a little bit too heavy for my own liking, and roasted corn. This entrée was huge! We couldn’t finish this plate. + FROZENBUTTERBEER: The hype was definitely real in Harry Potter World. I tried the frozen butter beer, which I’m sure I would enjoy more than the warm kind, which had a great texture at the top like whipped cream. This drink tastes like caramel popcorn in liquid form; it is not too sweet and the frozen slushy texture is great! You can get the butter beer in a souvenir cup for $ 9. The portions here are really large, and you could definitely share a lot of plates to try as much as you can here. Although it is pretty expensive, it is worth the splurge to experience dining in this restaurant.

You guys, I don’t know why I loved this place so much. Maybe it was the amazing reality of everything I’ve read in the HP books come to life. Maybe it was the fact that I was starving and that chicken hit the spot. Maybe it was the fun«moving picture» newspaper photo on the menu. Whatever it was, ladies and gents, the Three Broomsticks was like a dream come true. There was definitely a line that took us about 15 minutes to conquer, but once you get to the end, they have an employee directing you to one of many cashiers. Then you move to another line to pick up your food. Once you’ve got your food, don’t forget your condiments along the wall. As far as seating goes, and I LOVED this(they’re brilliant in Hogsmeade), when you enter the dining area, there’s an employee who makes eye contact with another employee who’s floating around and by holding up fingers, they’re able to find you a place to sit. They don’t even yell or have to say anything out loud. Because of this efficient service, the tables are clean when you sit down, and it’s very neatly organized. I was expecting mediocre, theme park food, but this food wildly exceeded my dreams! I ordered the Rotisserie Smoked Chicken Platter, which comes with succulent chicken, excellently roasted and seasoned potatoes, and crunchy corn on the cob. None of that wilted, not-sweet corn that you get at some places. Plus, it was only $ 10! It was standard hearty, comfort-food fare. I was not disappointed in the least! Even though I was starving walking in, I couldn’t finish everything. Don’t forget the Butterbeer! I didn’t bother to buy the fancy cup, because the Butterbeer was sweet enough and large enough for me to be satisfied with one cup. It’s the creamy, bubbly goodness you’ve fantasized about. And to tie the whole experience together, everything’s made of wood, has a sort of «darker» feel to it, and there are wooden things hanging from the ceiling, and there’s HP music! What better ambiance could you ask for on a visit to the Three Broomsticks?

I thought that our food and service here was so great. I definitely would use this place over a leaky cauldron if I had to pick one. My husband and I were able to share the chicken and ribs meal. I was fairly surprised that it tasted so good. If you have had the chicken and ribs meal at Thunder Falls Terrace, I believe this is the same. The rip meat fell off the bone and the chicken was perfectly cooked. Another thing that I liked was that we were able to seat ourselves. It was nice and laid-back and I really enjoyed our meal here. They even serve butterbeer and pumpkin juice here, which you must try! I will be definitely coming here the next time I go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

I’m pretty biased to all things Harry Potter so of course I would eat at every HP restaurant inside Universal. We checked out their menu and then immediately wanted to come for dinner. They show what the food looks like in a display window near the lines. Chicken and ribs platter, it is! To be honest, I never expect theme park food to wow or anything so my standards are always mediocre. Not going to say theirs was amazing or anything but it’s still decent and satisfying after a day at the park. They also have butterbeer and pumpkin juice so if you want the full Harry Potter experience, go for it! I’m personally not a fan of either. Line will be long but it moves fairly quickly. The place will be packed so it will seem like you won’t be able to get a table but their staff is pretty good with seating. They’ll tell you where to go so no worries ;)!

Can I say this was the highlight on our trip to Orlando? Literally three wooden broomsticks greeted us at the entrance, shortly followed by an excited squeal from me, myself, and I, as I saw the inn-like dining room screaming of dark wood from every corner with wrought-iron chandeliers hanging from the high-ceiling. It was a sight to behold. I was indeed in Hogsmeade! The line went fast, too fast for me who was trying to take photos of everything. Order at one of the open counters then pick up your food at another station once your number is called is the deal here. I love that a table will already be assigned to your party once your food is ready with a waitstaff directing you there. Very efficient. I took in every detail there was to see, from the rustic and creaking staircases upstairs, stacked trunks and luggage, and to how some of the servers were small and dressed as elves. It was a magical dining experience! The food was mighty tasty for a theme park restaurant. An order of FISH and CHIPS($ 13.99) came with three beautifully battered fresh North Atlantic cod fried to golden perfection plus thick-cut fries that were enjoyably crispy. Malt vinegar and tartar sauce for dipping made for an extra superb meal. This will not disappoint. SHEPERD’s PIE($ 11.99), another popular British dish, came with fresh garden salad on the side which was rightly so because man, this pie was rich and heavy. It’s filled with ground beef, lamb, and vegetables, then crowned with mashed potatoes on the top. It was bloody good we inhaled it all. Now, a meal here would certainly not be complete without getting a FROZENBUTTERBEER($ 6.99). This slushy treat was sweet, buttery, and simply satisfying. We bought the souvenir mug for an extra $ 5 which would allow us to get soda for $ 1 all day anywhere at both parks(butter beer is full price for a refill). Nothing like drinking your beer from a mug, plus, I get to take it home. I say it’s worth it! From one Harry Potter fan to another, you do not want to miss this!

When I was visiting the Harry Potter world, OFCOURSE, I had to visit one of the restaurants. Three Broomsticks was one of the higher rated restaurants, so I had to give this place a try. When you walk in, you stand in line to order, then there is another line where to pick up your food. The restaurant is very efficiently run(very Disney-esque…LOL). I came here for lunch and decided on the Rotisserie Chicken platter, which came with the corn on the roast potatoes. And, I of course had to try the butter beer. Even though, it was lunchtime, since everything was run so efficiently, I did not have to wait too long for anything. Once you pick up your food, you can go over to the dining area. The dining area was also themed, which made the experience even better. My chicken platter(which was about $ 15) was a very decent portion.(which was surprising because it was themed park food). For theme park food, I think that the food tasted fine. I just wish that there was more sauce or flavoring to the food. The chicken and corn was a little bland. However, the roast potatoes were pretty good, and had decent amount of flavoring. The best part of my meal was the butter beer. YUM! This is exactly how I envisioned butter beer to taste like when I read the book.(You can also get butter beer in the theme park, so even if you don’t come to Three Broomsticks, make sure to pick one up). I splurged a little and got the souvenir cup, which was super cute and I can treasure the memory of butter beer. I definitely say this is a must try place. The food, value, and experience is definitely worth it.

This dining experience is a must when visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I am mostly talking about the view inside as opposed to the actual food. The food could be better but I find that I am always happy dining here regardless. During my most recent visit, I ordered some pasties with salad and a side of ranch dressing. It is a cafeteria style service where you order at the counter and move on to the next line to pick up your food. I skipped the butterbeer this time since I already had some at the Leaky Cauldron. I opted for some unsweet tea and when my food was ready, someone directed me to a table where I ate my food. I don’t know about you but when I come here, I rarely concentrate on my food. I am usually too busy looking around and getting excited over the decorations and how much this place resembles the Three Broomsticks in the movie. It is just a magnificent experience and that no matter how the food tasted, it will never take away from the magic contained within the place.

Excellent atmosphere with decent food. While inside Universal I never had high expectation of the food even within Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Honestly best perk about this place is that you don’t have to stay outside waiting in line for Butterbeers at the street vendors. We came for an early lunch around 11:30 after spending couple hours in Hogwarts/Hogsmeade so it wasn’t crowded at all. Hardly any lines waiting to order for food but they do have a very organized way of taking your orders and the meals are prepared in bulk that you’ll see plates after plates of food sitting out ready to be served. Very excellent place to take a break as I see the bench areas right outside Dervish and Bangers gets more crowded especially when it starts raining in the afternoon. For food we tried the Chicken and Rib platter. I thought the presentation looked better than it tasted, the chicken was bit dry but the ribs were surprisingly moist and juicy. OF course my favorite part was getting a frozen Butterbeer and just sit back and appreciate the décor. Its quite amazing like rest of the area on how intricate the details they put into it. Definitely recommend it if you looking to dine in the park while visiting.

Ich geh nur rein wegen dem Ambiente. Fish and Chips sehr fettig, Mittelklasse, natürlich das Geld nicht wert. Aber das war eh klar. Butterbier ist eine Art milchshake Bombe. Macht einfach neugierig. Aber ein Viertel genügt.
