Toys R Us/Babies R Us

As a mom, I love that this location is a Toys R Us, as well as Babies R Us. I’ve been here plenty of times in the past and it’s always very convenient! Today, for example, I bought my son a brand new car seat, since he is almost four now and his old one was pretty worn out, and he got two new toys for being good and patient throughout the process!
By the way, 25% off a new car seat when you trade in an old one through September 30^th! Pretty good deal!

We are expecting our first child and so this was my first trip to this particular store. Our mission today was to pick out a favorite glider/​rocker. I had already visited their BBB competitor on the way, but I found this store to be so much better! Layout was great, prices were overall more reasonable. Customer service was amazing– our associate (Edgar) helped us by explaining the different features of the gliders and helping us pick out our favorite. We weren’t expecting to buy one right away and we had our small car instead of SUV, but he checked the stock and there was only left. He had it brought out and then opened the box so we could see the individual parts (the box was HUGE but the pieces small enough to unpack easily into our car). He also signed us up for their rewards program so we got all the points from that purchase! Really appreciated all his help and now we have a great glider set-​up, with one less thing to check off on our list :-) This will be my go-​to store. I saw some of the cutest clothes, toys and wall art on the way to the furniture area– can’t wait to go back and browse some more.

A clean well lite store with a large parking lot. Very clean and inviting and neatly laid out. With a large selection of everything. Though I didn’t not purchase anything on this trip it was still a pleasure stopping in

Drove 35 minutes to attend the Babies R Us baby basic new parent class this evening. From the moment my husband and I walked in, we received acknowledgement, pleasant, and helpful service. The baby basic class was very informative. Jay, the store manager, and Dani, a sales associate, were extremely helpful. Out of the 4 Babies R Us I’ve been to (Millenia, FL Mall, the Loop, and this store), the Waterford Lakes store had the best customer service. Keep up the good work!

If am shopping for a gift, I stick to Target. If my daughter is shopping, she wants to go to Toys R Us. I can’t really blame her, I loved going there as a kid too, but as an adult it’s not nearly as cool.
My experience with Toys R Us is that the prices tend to be much higher than Target or Walmart, but the selection is usually better.
On my last visit I found a stuffed Tribble on clearance for 90 cents though, so this place isn’t all bad.

Walked in and the place smelled like fart. Baby clothes are very expensive. I saw one newborn-​size outfit for THIRTY-​TWO DOLLARS. Are these people insane? They mainly have Carter’s brand which is way overpriced. Don’t shop here!!!

I love babies r us for all the disney baby stuff they carry as well as I have always been a fan of the baby selection they have. So once we found out that we were expecting we were both very excited to get to this location and begin our registry with them, yet also expecting our first child we were not quite sure on where to start as far as what brands were better than others etc. We had asked one of the sales people if they could advise us on some of the brands mainly bottles because that alone was a daunting aisle for me, and the sales rep who was not very friendly told me i could just read the packages and get my information from there because she wasn’t able to help me and walked off. Well I had been having a hormonal day so that was not the best thing for me to hear so of course I was sad and decided to not do my registry there.

A little bit of craziness during the holiday shopping season, but overall, friendly staff and good store layout. I knew what I needed to get so it was straight in and straight out.

I had to stop in and make a return. It went super easy and took maybe 20 seconds to actually process it. The cashier wasn’t the friendliest but she was competent. My mother had to grab a small gift for my cousin and asked one of the employees who approached us for a recommendation. She recommended some book of faces that came with makeup you could put on. I though it was a bit adult for a 7 year old but she loved it, I obviously don’t know a whole lot about kids. The store building is very pretty and the store is fairly large and clean.

We visited last night after learning that they will be open for 72 hours straight thru to Christmas Eve. I was expecting for everything to be in stock due to the hours of operation but we found aisles empty with no merchandise. If corporate is going to make a decision not to close for 3 days, then they should be fully stocked with popular items. The aisles in this store and most Toys R Us stores are extremely tight. It’s very hard to maneuver the shopping carts thru these aisles when there is more than one customer with a cart.

A HUGE Store! It combines Toys R Us with Babies R Us which makes it super convenient. That makes it a lot easier for people that have to buy kids for different age groups.
Lots of parking spaces available. Accepts coupons and has a gift wrapping stations for your purchases made in store as you’re hurrying to a baby shower or a kids birthday!

The store itself is great and one of the staff was super helpful and friendly but the checkout chick was lazy, sluggish and unfriendly. Since she was our last impression that kind of sucked but the store has tons to choose from and a great and adorable selection. I know I’ll be back a lot since I’m now expecting. We will see if it stays this good! I’ll just avoid the tellers that skip so many words in the English language.

Will never go back to toysrus again, they refuse to accept a toysrus unopened branded item back, that we received as a gift. They also did not take back an iTunes card back with a valid receipt that was unused.
I would suggest not buying anything from toysrus period, with such a bad return policy you could be wasting your money.

HUGE space, that is also combined with Babies R Us. You can purchase baby foods, clothing (SOOOO ADORABLE) and a great organized selection of any toy you can imagine. Even as a fabulous adult, I had to walk away with a toy. I bought Gizmo from Gremlins! It can bring the inner child out in ANYONE!

Pretty overwhelming your first time. This is a Toys «R» Us and a Babies «R» Us combined Mega-​Store! Opened in February 2012 right in Waterford Lakes and there is a new Bahama Breeze right next door that just opened as well, in case you are so overwhelmed you need to leave for a drink! My husband and I had registered online for the baby registry and then decided to take a trip to the store to see some items in person and have been back several times. I’m sure I will be going there quite a bit for the next 10 years, lol!
