Tropical Smoothie and me come a LONG way. When I used to live in Kissimmee(About 10 months ago) I used to visit their store at The Loop shopping center almost 3 – 4 times a weeks. Juan and I would often replace meals with smoothies or just eat a wrap of tacos for dinner. No complaints. We would depend heavily on using coupons we got in the mail. So when we moved to Orlando, we lost no time on seeking one near our home. We found this one. I’m not sure of they were just opening, remodeling or just having a rough time with the business but coming here twice was enough for us not wanting to come back(back on July). The place looked shady, was missing lights and the two times we went there, the employee(same one) didn’t have a uniform and looked dirty and unkept. Service was slow and the two times he got our orders wrong. So we stopped going. This morning, after craving a breakfast smoothie and seeing the good reviews, I decided to go for it and give it a third chance. Went early, around 7:40 am, only customer there. Was greeted and told they«would be with me in a few». So glad I wasn’t on a hurry! After 5 minutes, an employee took my order. So while I waited, I saw they were preparing a catered order and kept telling each other they were running late(3 employees present). I literally waited 15 minutes for my smoothie. At around 5 minutes of waiting time, I was told somebody was preparing my drink. At 10 minutes, I asked if my drink was ready and was told«about to come out». 15 minutes and then my smoothie was out. I wasn’t in a hurry and content with my smoothie, so I giving that the place doesn’t look shady anymore, that it was clean and my smoothie was perfect, I’m only eliminating one star for the 20 minute wait(since I was told somebody would take my order until I received my smoothie). Bit disappointed with the waiting time but O understand that they were catering and running late. Again, lucky for me, I wasn’t in a hurry.

I love tropical smoothie café simply because their smoothies are actually thick, filling and don’t taste watered down like other places. My favorite smoothies are Sunny Day and Mango Magic. Yes I love the mango ones! I had come to this location about 4 years ago and the girl working there was rude but I am happy to report I went back here 2 days ago and there was a friendly gentleman working there. Yay! He was patient as I looked over the menu and tried to pick something else besides my favorites but of course I went with Sunny Day since well… it’s delicious! Also don’t forget if you sign up for their email newsletter you get a free smoothie on your birthday!

Being a Vegan has limited options sometimes so I constantly visit this location. I go up to 5 times a week. Sad to say, but I HATE this Tropical Smoothie location. 9⁄10 times I go there, they have no idea what they’re doing. The staff changes constantly and they are always hiring. Smoothies don’t taste like fruit, instead like water. They give you bad looks when you ask them to make a better one, even though it was their mistake to begin with. Their wraps fall apart and when you ask for extra veggies, they don’t do it. It is just frustrating when all other locations get it together except for this one. Being in the Waterford Lakes area doesn’t matter to them. They don’t care about impressing.

Great tasting smoothies for a very reasonable price. I normally go to one of their competitors with Planet in their name but was near a Tropical Smoothie. Definitely will return, very quick and great tasting smoothie!

This is by far the best smoothie place. Tropical smoothie has huge delicious smoothies that I will either have for a meal or share one with someone else for a great snack. Their other food is good too. Everything seems fresh and is priced right. Employees are always nice and the restaurant atmosphere is bright and casual. Try the peanut butter paradise, or one that’s not on the menu but I order sometimes, white chocolate and raspberry smoothie.

I really like this place. I never thought of giving it a try until a friend took me there for a quick lunch. Their flatbreads are all sooooo good! All of them! My favorite is the chipotle chicken club with chicken, pepper jack cheese, bacon, tomatoes and chipotle mayonnaise on a warm toasted flatbread. The smoothies are really good and huge too. My favorite is the sunny day which has mango, banana, orange and kiwi. I recently tried a green smoothie with spinach, kale, banana and pineapple and it was awesome!!! Some tropical smoothie locations have a punch card to earn a free smoothie, but unfortunately this location does not =(

My niece can prepare the same wraps at home. but better. The quality of the food is low grade. Nothing special about this place. As far as the smoothies… I haven’t tried them… my review is only on the food.

Great smoothie(I have had both the strawberry and blueberry based smoothies, I wish I could remember the fnacy names TSC bestowed upon them, for now, you will get the anodyne fruit names), if not a little pricey. At least they give you something that can basically fill you up on an average day for lunch in the form of pureed fruit. I have also tried the chicken pesto sandwich and was impressed that a smoothie place could actually serve decent food. Great friendly service, and the place is always clean.

Tropical Smoothie Café used to be one of our favorite lunch spots — right until they discontinued their«tortizzas» and we moved to an area that lacked one right around the corner. This location actually opened about a year or so ago, but we’ve just never actually gotten around to stopping in. This particular location seems extremely small — with maybe half a dozen tables. The décor was very pleasant. The walls are adorned with paintings that reminded us of our time in Jamaica. The menu has changed since our last visit — mostly for the good. Most of our old favorites(the buffalo chicken wrap, especially) are still there, but there are lots of new items. Breakfast is served all day. If you want a smoothie, but you’re not in the mood for something quite so healthy, they offer coffee smoothies. Prices are very reasonable for the serving sizes at about $ 7 for any of the wraps, flatbreads or sandwiches. The service here was very friendly and helpful — but what they were not exactly quick. To be fair, we arrived just after a family of five and there were only two people working. While we waited for our food, two more customers came in to get smoothies, and walked out with their orders while we were still waiting for our food. In the end, we waited almost 10 minutes. This isn’t a deal breaker for us — I don’t mind waiting a bit if it means we get fresh food — but I may think twice about stopping in if I’m in a rush. I’m not really sure why we hadn’t bothered coming in here this entire time, but I’m glad we did.
