Uncle Henrys Restaurant

I went to eat breakfast here one morning before going to the thrift store nearby. It looks like they are closed for good. I really wanted a country boy! :(

Such a shame… this use to be a great restaurant for weekend breakfast in my neighborhood, but it has exceedingly failed in quality and service with each visit. I’ve tried to give them «another chance», but after my last experience I will no longer visit nor recommend Uncle Henry’s to anyone. Yesterday I ordered two omelettes and a waffle for pickup in hopes that we could forgo the subpar service while enjoying our breakfast at home. I soon discovered that our omelettes did not come with the potatoes and toast that is supposed to be included in the meal. Not only was this a disappointment, but also extra aggravating because I was definitely charged full price for the meals. The waffle was terrible too; rubbery and plain disgusting. Hopefully the location will make way for a better restaurant to move into after it will inevitably fail.

A good meal plenty on the plate good sevice some of the patrons have issues especially the one who drives a blue bronco is a perverse individual.

This is turning out to be one of the best restaurants in the area. The food is delicious and the price is right. He has the best biscuits and grave I have had in years. It is better than any other restaurants on Orange Ave and is also cheaper. His burgers are ½ pound and taste great. Above all, I think his best item is the ¼ head of lettuce blue cheese salad. It is big enough to feed a small family and there is tons of crumbles blue cheese and bacon on top. I have recommended tis place to friends and they all have told me how thankful I did.

Just passing by one Sunday morning and decided to drop in for breakfast. Clean, friendly, dinner atmosphere. The food was good with great prices. Glad we stopped.

I was really excited to come here. The inside was nice, clean, and big, and the service very friendly from the start. The menu items were cheap and decent for breakfast, yet I wasn’t too thrilled with the skill of the chef in this instance.
I found the breakfast potatoes burnt, and my eggs too runny and bland. The pancake was huge and good, but everything else was just so-​so.
The breakfast was filling but I longed for more.

When I’m craving comfort food, I LOVE me some down home, grease filled, carbo loaded home cooking. (just see my review on Sharon’s).
Unfortunately, Uncle Hank’s is not the place I come to.
Yes– the place is clean.
And yes– the service is decent and fairly fast.
But is the food good you ask?
Not so much… I find it to be very bland and a little too salty. I’ve given it several tries (work type lunches so I HAD to go) and I just haven’t hit even one meal that took care of the crave.
