Went to dinner and had to pay $ 12.50 for dinner because of Holiday. Really Saint Valentine’s day is not a Holiday. Big time rip off. Would not be back. Then they had to void my check twice cause she had to many checks in front of her. Last time I be back. Then I called back and was Givin an attitude and that they don’t care. Ohhhhhh so upset.

This place is filthy and I don’t understand how they stay open. The good: We decided to be adventurous and try it for dinner. We live close by and it’s been open a while, why not? We have been to Chinese buffets before so we weren’t expecting fine dining. When we walked in, the staff was friendly and we were quickly taken to a table. We were surprised by the sheer volume of menu items. There are several buffet lines to choose from and they all looked bright and clean. My party of three split up to get our grub on. The bad: The tab was over $ 50 for three people and our excitement quickly faded when we saw the food up close. One buffet section is dedicated to unknown fried items, all oily and golden brown. Pass. The sushi was not cold and I wasn’t willing to risk it. Pass. I finally put a few familiar items on my plate next to some white rice and sat down. The ugly: our booth and table were dirty. Really dirty. The cups that held our beverages were dirty. Even the plates were questionable. While we tried to ignore the gnats buzzing around, my teenager decided that this wasn’t worth it and opted out. I encouraged him to try something, anything, and he went with the safest option: Jello. Although, here’s the thing. It wasn’t safe at all. Instead, it was hard(think silicone). He cut one cube with the side of his fork to reveal two gnats, encased Jurassic Park-style. We decided enough was enough and called it a night. The best thing about this place is that there’s a McDonald’s across the street.

This is the most disgusting place my family and I have ever eaten at!!! Based on the google reviews of 3.7 we decided to give it a try and there is no way they should have a 3.7 review. The food is absolutely horrible. The sushi is not properly kept, is turning black, and smellls rotten. I literally had to spit back into my napkin the seafood salad, stuffed crab, and didnt even try to put multiple things in my mouth because of the smell. Its a large buffet and some advice I would give the owner is to make the buffet smaller because I know I would prefer 20 – 30 dishes that are excellent quality compared to 100 that you cant afford to have be decent and still make a profit. The worst part is that we tried to tell the people in charge about how nasty the food was and they were extremely rude and demanded we pay. Please do not eat here and waste any hard earned money on thier garbage food. I hope they do something about the quality!!! My boyfriend was trying to eat his plate and said im pretty sure the chicken is not chicken and the beef is not beef. Who knows what they are actually serving. Ive worked in food service for a long time and the health dept will be contacted because I fear for the safety of the public based on thier food handling procedures and concerned there are food items being served that are not what they should be.

This place is on Lee Road about half a mile west of I-4 on exit 88 north of Orlando. Went there for lunch on a Sunday. They were serving the dinner menu all day which was a good thing because there was more seafood choices offered. I was gorging myself on fried blue crab and shrimp with their heads intact. De-lee-shus! They also have crawfish and clams and baked salmon. There was also the usual chinese buffet staples like noodles and wings and egg rolls etc. There is a mongolian grill and also a soup bar where you pick the ingredients that you want in a soup broth. There was also a sushi bar with a sushi chef rolling out fresh sushi. The sushi taste good considering it is a buffet. There was a good selection of fruits and desserts and self serve ice cream buckets. Service was good. I was a happy camper. And you know what bowled me over? It was just TENBUCKS per person for all that seafood. I don’t know how they can make any money. They sure as hell did not make any money from me because I probably ate about a gazillion blue crabs and shrimps. If you like to pig out then check this place out before they come to their senses and raise their prices or really go out of business!

Best food you can get for 10 dollars, my favorite was the chicken, thier honey chicken and buttered potatoes along with delicious roast beef. I liked the choice american food if you are a picky person, everything looked delicious and well cooked. Restaurant was clean and not at all crowded so it made for easy conversation We left full and satisfied.

I heard someone saying — it is the best buffer you get for 10 bucks. No, its not. The food is horrible. I dont know what cooking oil they used but every item tasted so weird and stinky. I would not recommend to anyone even if you are looking for a low price buffet.

Had a terrible experience today. My twins are not 3 which meant we didn’t have to pay for them yet the obnoxious woman at the billing«TOLD» me that my kids were 3 and made me pay for them as well. Though we told her many times that they were not 3, the arrogant woman did not give ear and made us pay even before we went to the buffet. The food was ok but the attitude of the woman spoilt our lunch as well as the rest of the day. I DON’T recommend this place.

This place does some things right, and other things it really misses the target. I wish this buffet would focus on quality of the food rather than having a larger variety of different foods. Half of what I tried was great, and the other half was pretty disappointing. One thing it does have going for it is an affordable lunch buffet, around $ 7.75 last I checked. I don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon, though.

Pleasantly Surprised! I had lunch here last Saturday and was pleasantly surprised! It is one of the better chinese buffets in town. It was clean inside and the food was pretty good. The fried rice was legit legit! I would recommend Wild Rice to anyone looking for good food for a good price!

Not bad, not bad! Its definitely the cleanest Chinese buffet I’ve been to. Truthfully, I cannot remember the last one I visited. Anyway, for 7.75 at lunch, you are getting a bargain! Sushi, steamed clams, peel and eat shrimp, lots of fresh salads and plenty of desserts. Was my first time today and I can’t wait to go back. Wow, what a selection! Okay, we revisited for dinner and, well, not so good, had to take it down a star. We sat in the back of the place and let me say this! It wasn’t as clean as the front of the place…

The worst buffet I have ever been to. Period. Extremely cheap for what it is but clearly you get what you paid for. The food is downright horrible. Buffets never have high standards since the food at most places isn’t that fresh but this place set is just bad. Do not come, odds are you won’t like it. Seems most of the reviews are inclined to agree.

Terrible experience! After church on Sunday I took my family and a friend(who had already eaten) there for the buffet. There were 5 of us at the table, we had 4 buffets and 4 ice teas and an ice water. The food was o.k. Some items were very good, most were average and some items were awful; especially the deserts. In fact they were so awful that it was a joke at our table. It went something like this: «I triple dog dare you to take a bite of that cake». Imagine aspartame, old coffee and Raid, but worse. We weren’t rude and we didn’t share our opinion with anyone outside our table. Even my friend who didn’t eat took a bite of cake to join in on the fun. Our waiter who was MIA, never brought our check so i placed my credit card at the edge of our table to signal that we were more than ready to go. The waiter walked by, pick up my card, still didn’t leave a check, but proceed with the charge on my account. I was charged for 5 Buffets and 5 drink. I took my bill to the cashier to correct the over site. The extremely rude cashier blamed me for not being clear when being seated that one of our party was not eating. So when all else fail talk to management? Management refused to refund for the buffet since my friend admitted to tasting the cake then walked away from me and into an office behind the cashier and closed the door. My friend asked if she could just pay for the price of the cake slice and was told, «that’s not how it works». I was told«I don’t care if you ever come back» and«it’s your fault» and«you should not come to a buffet if your not going to eat». I was refunded for 1 drink and left with a bad taste in my mouth.

My wife and I were out running errands when we realized we never bothered to stop for lunch. We saw Wild Rice Buffet and almost passed it up but the parking lot was pretty full and when we pulled in, two more vehicles pulled in right behind us so with a place this busy were hoping to finally find a Chinese buffet we’d be pleased with. We walked in and the place was VERY busy and we were greeted quickly, escorted to a table by the host and our drink orders were taken. My wife has been on a hot water with lemon kick and I ordered my usual unsweet iced tea. We headed off to the buffet and I strolled around looking at everything and took some pictures of the different hot and cold tables. I have to admit that it looked very impressive but the proof is in the taste. When I returned to the table I found some kind of tea/lemonade concoction that was nasty and asked the server to bring me unsweet tea. He also brought my wife iced water with lemon instead of hot water with lemon. He was polite but spoke very little English making it difficult communicate what we wanted. He did bring me some unsweet tea but there was very little tea flavor. For my wife he just brought her a water glass with hot water instead of a teapot with hot water. We just gave up on trying to get him understand what she wanted. I fixed a plate with ten different pieces of sushi and another plate with six of the buffet items. The sushi was actually pretty good and I usually have low expectations of sushi at a buffet. The other plate was a different story. The only thing on the plate I found tasty was the coconut shrimp and there was too much breading on the shrimp. The spring roll was small, very little filling and had no flavor. The beef roll was flavorless and I just spit it into my napkin. The imitation crab surprise had no surprise and no seasoning. Their custard cup was not bad but lacking in seasoning. The whole shrimp that were lightly breaded and deep fried lacked seasoning and I did not get the concept of leaving the head, legs and shell on. I fixed a second plate with several more items from the buffet. The kimchi was gross and was spit into my napkin. The buttered shrimp was not bad but could have used a bit more seasoning. The General Tso had a thin sauce that was actually nicely flavored but the chicken had a thick breading and lacked flavor. The imitation crab salad lacked seasoning but had a nice texture. The honey chicken lacked flavor but was well cooked and the hibachi chicken was also bland but cooked properly. That sweet/sour radish salad was ok but nothing to write home about. I head back for another plate and get a sample of six more items. The fried shrimp, chicken and broccoli along with the sliced beef with onion and pepper were extremely bland. The crab ball with a shrimp tasted like crab flavored breading with a bland shrimp. The pork on a stick was not too bad and the seasoning was only a wee bit light but that rib was dry and the glaze was awful. The shrimp fried rice had very little seasoning. Back for another plate and by this point I have all but given up on finding anything worth going back for seconds. The seaweed salad on the buffet tasted like old seaweed seasoned with old fish stock. The green beans were nice and cooked nicely. The frog leg was too salty but cooked correctly and the meat was even tender. The cabbage salad was bland and so was the pasta salad. Their attempt at a cucumber/tomato salad was not good. The tomato was a flavorless variety and that cucumber piece was way too big. The cantaloupe and honeydew were not ripe enough and not very sweet. The breaded pork with sweet and sour sauce on it was not OK but I would not go back for seconds and that mac n cheese would have been better if it came from the blue and orange box which does not say much. My wife let me taste her hot and sour soup which was neither hot nor sour so I tried the wonton soup. I figured that would be pretty hard to screw up. I guessed wrong. The mead was flavorless and there were layers of tasteless wonton wrapper and that broth was so bland even with the added green. Last was six of the desserts and they were all from some place that seems to supply several of the Chinese buffet’s in the area and ALL were not very good. The cream in the creampuff was good but the shell was stale and tasted like cardboard. Coffee flavored cake was OK at best. The pink stuff in the cup was disgusting. The macaroon was old and stale. The cake with the chocolate chips was also stale and the last cake I was not really sure what it was but it was not good. My advice, if you are looking for a Chinese buffet, passes this one up because other than the sushi, everything else was pretty much a fail. I have to wonder how the place was packed when they serve food this bad. I think it is a safe bet that if I am back in that part of town, I will not be going back.

Much wider assortment of food, however still as any usual buffet majority of the food is of low quality. Low quality, delicious junk of course.

Ok selection of standard Chinese buffet fare. Service was unfriendly but fast, as expected. I cannot forgive the fact that literally EVERYTHING on the steam tables was cold. This place came highly recommended but I thought it was terrible.

On a family trip last summer, we went to this place to eat one night and it was somewhat decent. The selection was there and the quality was what you’d expect from a Chinese buffet of this type. We came here again this year and, unfortunately, it has changed for the worst. We came to dine-in on a Friday night and for a weekend evening, it was surprisingly empty. This should have been the first sign and we should have heeded to it. The waitress wasn’t anything special. She took our order for drinks and let us go on our merry way. She was pretty good with the refills. The food, however, was the real punch in the gut. From what I remember, the restaurant was a lot busier last year, which also meant that food stayed hot and fresh. This year, the slow business had a negative effect on the food. If no one is coming in to eat the food, the food becomes cold and stale; if the food is cold and stale, no one will want to eat the food. It’s a never ending cycle that Wild Rice is a victim to. I don’t think that we’ll be coming here again. Last year I would have probably given this place a 3 star but this year is 2 at best. I would avoid.

I used to frequent this place back in 1998 – 2000, when it was a night club called Cyberzone, The chandeliers from the club are still up there, and the food is, well… You know how the say Chinese food goes right through you? Between the abdominal cramping and I’ll spare you the less than attractive details of muscular spasms… Just don’t do it.

The entire dining experience was NOTGOOD. Firstly, we were sat right directly next to a 30 person kids birthday party even though there was plenty of seating around that was open — we asked if we could move to a different seat but the hostess did not understand what we were asking. Our waitress comes over to bring our drinks & we ask her a question about the buffet, she also does not understand us & has her 3 year old child running in & out of the back talking to her & asking her questions & she gets into him while we are trying to communicate with her which we already were having a hard time doing. We finally got around to the buffet & the food looked less than appetizing. I went to the Hibachi area & waited a good 5 minutes for an employee to appear from the back. Then he cooked my raw meat in about two minutes & looked like he was not even checking the food. I went back to my table & hesitantly cut into my steak I had cooked on the Hibachi & found it purple inside. Myself nor my stepmother ate more than one bite, my dad finished his whole plate. We asked for the check & it came to around $ 45 for three people & three sodas. My stepmother kindly asked the waitress if she could take my stepmothers off the bill because she literally sat down with her plate, saw my food & refused to eat even a single bite. The waitress argued & said she saw us eat some food, but after some talking she went to her manager & came back having knocked $ 5 off the total bill. We left very displeased & will not be returning! If you are looking for great Hibachi I highly recommend the Hibachi buffet in Altamonte that is the plaza with Kohls! Really great food & have never had a bad experience here!
