Tasty pizza, albeit kinda wet. We had their house pizza. Bottle drinks, no fountain. eat-in area, and potty way in the back.

Not worth the one star in forced to give!!! Worst sub ever, quite obvious the only appliance in the kitchen that gets any use is the microwave… I’m not in anyway a food snob, just a tradesmen looking for lunch… Biggest waste of 8 dollars ever… I’d rather starve to death than eat here again…

The pizza at this place was disappointing, with such high ratings I thought it would be good. This pizza was the kind where they don’t put very much cheese and they use a limited amount of sauce. The crust was discusting, thin, and burnt. I would give this place a 2.5 but Unilocal doesn’t allow half stars.

They don’t actually delivery even though this page says they does. They also know this and laughed about it on the phone.

First and last time there. The thin crust pizza was cold, and flavourless. By the time we got home with it, it tasted like it was a week-old from the fridge. And the plain cheese calzone had nothing in it except ricotta cheese. I’ve never had ricotta in a calzone, but it was awful. This was the first time in my life I couldn’t finish pizza, and threw out the left overs.

I am going to make this short because i hate negatively rating a business. I stopped in here while on vacation for a quick bite. The pizza is paper thin, the slices are cut very uneven leaving you with a thin slice and a normal slice yet they want to charge you full price for both. Finally the girl through in the 2″ wide slice for free because she knew it was ridiculous. Lastly, recount your change. The worker had a hard time figuring out change for a $ 20 and actually gave me a lot more change then i was supposed to get, which i did give back because i believe in karma and i helped the worker count out the proper amount which still gave them issues.

Surprisingly enough, freshness brought to the Cape right from New York, a true New York style pizza. Called it in, 10 minutes later, TaDa 18″ of freshness done perfectly… delicious too! Remember for those who know there pizza, it’s a New York style, so its best to eat it hot, do not re heat, letting it sit will not be your best taste test. :)

We were looking for pizza on the first night of vacation since we had just finished unpacking after a long day. We looked through the reviews and found this received gread reviews. We orded two pizzas-one cheese and one pepper and onion. I have to say this is the worst pizza we have ever had. I realize that ½ the electricity was out that day… but it was terrible. My husband wanted to order three pizzas so he could have left overs. I am glad we stuck with the two.

This is the kind of place that when you walk in you know the pizza is good just by the smell. I got the White Four Cheese pizza and just wished I got the large because everyone after tasting some didn’t want they ordered and wanted the pizza.

This is one of those hard working places — the staff is working its butt off to make a really terrific pizza. We enjoyed both the pesto pizza and the sausage. Thin crust is hard to make and not have it fall apart as it is being lifted off the pizza pan — this pizza passes the test — the crust is thin but holds up. If you are a fan of thin crust — you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

5 star for takeout. 2 star for dining in. This is the best New York pizza on this part of the Cape for takeout. Big thin slices, not soggy crust. Very tasty. The dining area is basic and uninspired. The staff often seems stoned and uninterested, but the pizza is always good.

We ordered two pizzas, a cheese and a half-veggie, half-cheese. I ordered over the phone. When I arrived, I saw their menu offerings, and realized the thing to do was to order their gourmet offerings, which were ample — four-cheese toppings and the like. The pizzas were large and smelled good. The large cheese was only $ 14, but the veggie was $ 21 — they refused to cut me a deal even though only half was veggie. I took my first bite into the veggie, and was pleased. They used six vegtables in all, and they all were fresh and well done. As I continued to eat my first piece, I noticed that the veggies were the star of the show, the cheese and tomato sauce being unmemorable. When I moved onto the cheese slice, I realized that the basic components of the pizza were worse than unmemorable. The slices are thin — a few credit cards stacked on top of each other. I could barely taste the tomato sauce, and the cheese, also thinly applied, was less flavorful than the cheapest supermarket cheese. After a few minutes, the crust revealed itself to be hard and stale. The two other adults eating the pizzas agreed with me. The veggie pizza was pretty good because of the veggies. The cheese pizza was simply bad. There’s an old line. Pizza is like sex. When it’s good it’s really good. When it’s bad, it’s still pretty good. But then sometimes it’s really bad. And then it’s really bad. The other two adults sharing the pies agreed with me wholeheartedly. I take it this place excels in specialty pies. But if you can’t make a competent cheese pizza, you shouldn’t be making pizzas at all.

Really shockingly good NYC-style pizza on Cape Cod. I should have known it was gonna be good when I ordered by phone, and they told me it would be done«in 5 minutes.» This means they know how to cook a pizza fast and at extremely high temperature. Next time, I’ll ask them to wait a few minutes so I have time to get over there and keep it nice and hot. Others have noted that the dough is some kind of wheat variation on typical NYC-style dough. It doesn’t detract at all from the flavor and I think it might even be an improvement. It’s great to know about this place. We’ll be coming back here on every future visit.

What a cute little pizzeria! They have a wide selection of specialty pizzas, and they give you the ability to build your own(not unlike a lot of pizza places these days). But they have sandwiches and salads too. And the pizza is on a delicious thin crust(New York style) that looks to be whole-wheat. There’s not a lot of seating available in the place, but there’s enough for about 12 people. They also sometimes put out cookies for ‘sampling’. very tasty.

(This place is actually called Hillcrest Pizza, not Hilltop. Confusing because the little strip mall in which it’s located is called Hilltop Plaza. I guess Hillcrest Pizza wanted to distinguish itself from its landlord and also to capitalize on the ocean imagery, as seen in its logo.) I really wasn’t expecting to find good pizza on the Cape. I guess that sounds incredibly snobby, and I apologize to Cape Codders en masse, because I was totally wrong and wow, are my cheeks red! Hillcrest makes a really mean pie, with good red sauce and a perfectly thin-yet-chewy crust dusted with just the right amount of corn meal. We tried the puttanesca and it was awesome. Loaded with toppings and cheese, but not overly topped and never soggy, it was flavorful and salty and could easily compete with pizza from my local New York pizzerias back home. They also have a good selection of vegetarian-friendly pies, and even my darling partner in crime was completely happy with a meatless pizza, which, like, never happens. I’m really glad we checked out this unassuming little place, because the cooks here know what they are doing and they’re fast and friendly to boot. Highly recommended.
