Biggby Coffee

Bare bones review. I drink black coffee. It is rare to give five stars for a black coffee. But the Black and Tan was a smooth, perfect cup of black coffee. The servers were nice. The place was clean. And the black coffee is so much better than Starbucks.

The atmosphere at Biggby Coffee is rarely found. The baristas are extremely nice and the latte I had was delicious. Definitely marked as a place I’d want to return to. Love it.

What a great find! I am a Starbucks lover but will forgo my beloved bucks every time to try a more indie or local coffee shop. Visited here with my husband niece and nephew during a family vacation and we all loved it so much we headed back one more time before we left the FL. The baristas were not just great latte makers but friendly and happy. They remembered us from our first visit! Check this place out for your caffeine needs — it does not disappoint.

I believe Biggby Coffee is from the Minnesota area and is almost exclusively in the Midwest. We were so surprised to see this coffee shop on our way home to Orlando. We like their different latte combinations (Neopolitan is so good!) instead of the usual vanilla, mocha, etc.
The barista recommended the Red Bull Cream (like a Red Bull milkshake) and my husband was extremely pleased with his purchase.
We will definitely be stopping in whenever we are in the area, and I can already tell my husband will want to the make the trip exclusively for Biggby itself.

I am definitely a very big fan of this wonderful coffee shop! I have been known to drive all the way from the other side of «Greater Daytona Beach» just to reach this location on Granada in Ormond Beach in order to devour one of their delicious coffee creations. They serve frozen coffees, iced coffees, hot coffees, have a wonderful FB page, have all kind of specials, and a pretty neat website. There’s even a frequent buyer card that will garner you additional discounts! There are so many flavors… which means there is something for everyone!

If you’re needing a pick me up after a day at Ormond Beach make sure you stop by Biggby Coffee. Service is friendly and the staff will happily chat with you while you wait. The shop is open, bright, airy and clean. You can get your drink hot, iced or frozen. I’m not a fan of the cold drinks so ended up getting a chocolate teddy bear which is a hot latté made with white chocolate and caramel. They accommodated my request for less sweetened drink by only adding half the syrup. The drink was delicious and with its whip cream and swirls of chocolate and caramel pretty to boot. Biggby is only a couple of blocks east of Starbucks so make sure you support the little guy by going to Biggby. You’ll be glad you did!

Not sure why this place is listed twice but there are not two of them next to each other. With that said you can look at the other listing for more reviews. Great service and very nice coffee. The staff has always been nice and very helpful. Not the super strong coffee like Starbucks. More mellow. I stop by when I come out of Lowe’s since it is at the same light. They have almond milk as well if you ask for free.

A friendly and well informed group. These people know their coffee and chocolate. I’m very particular on my chocolate and was pleasantly surprised with their in depth knowledge. I will always try and stop by here when I’m driving through. Really a great spot. Well deserving of 5 stars

We stopped into Biggby Coffee on our way home from Ormond Beach, and I fell in love. What an awesome coffee shop!
For starters, my husband and I looked like we had been sleeping in the woods for a couple days (we had been camping). Regardless of our appearance we were greeted warmly and the employees started up a conversation with us the whole time they made our drinks.
I ordered a mint mocha latte, which was delicious. More like a hot chocolate with coffee and mint. We ordered hot chocolates and a hot cider for the kids. Even though we had ordered one of the kids drinks the smaller size they went ahead and made it the bigger cup for free. So nice!
If I lived in the area Biggby’s would probably break me of my Starbucks addiction. Alas, I checked their locations online, and there are very few in the south. Most are in Michigan. So I either need to move to Michigan or pursuade someone to open a Biggby’s franchise in Orlando (the latter is the better plan).
So go to Biggby’s. And try to talk someone into opening one in Orlando for me.

Best coffee shop in Ormond Beach. Great selection of coffees, «bragels» are good, and owner is friendly. Shop is extremely clean. My wife loves the peanut butter/​espresso frozen latte. I don’t make it to Ormond often but when I do I drive by other coffee shops to get here.

Okay, attention from the staff is incredible. When we walked in, Marshall greeted us, and worked to ensure we got the right ingredients, and got our needs met. The rest of the staff also engaged us in conversation, and it was totally sincere. Throughout our 2+ hour visit, we observed customers coming in, and the staff treated everyone with great respect, greeting many of them by name. They have lots of customer loyalty, for good reason. Their mission is to create fanatics (fans) of Biggby’s who will tell others. Well, they succeeded today, ’cause I am telling you, this is a great experience.
Oh yeah, the coffee and tea are really great, too. We didn’t try the carb-​laden goodies, but they look great.
We will definitely return we are on the east side of the county.
