awesome mani/pedi while on vacation! great massage chairs, clean & friendly, good prices… $ 31 for regular mani/pedi which included exfoliating scrub. will definitely come back on my next trip!

I got a really crummy pedicure here. I went in based on the advertised special. The entire time the person kept trying to up sell me on a different type of pedicure that cost a lot more. I was already paying $ 5 more than I paid at another local salon. For the basic pedicure you basically get your feet in water, nails trimmed and nail polish on is what he explained after he had already begun. I was so disappointed and felt so uncomfortable having to repeatedly say no to the additional services he tried to sell for $ 20 – 30 more. When I got firm about it(as I was trying to relax with being my little time away from my kids and I was very pregnant), he spoke loudly to the other employees in a different language and rolled his eyes. They spoke back and forth the rest of my time as my toes dried. Needless to say, I will never go back there again!

Hands down(pun intended) the best salon! The endless charm of the staff is matched by their superb talent. Every time I come in I leave more beautiful and more in a better mood. The prices are competitive but the skills and service beats all the competition.

I’m giving this place 1 star because I have to say the nail service is good, and I’m bummed I’ll have to find a new nail salon. But after the horrible experience I had today I’m never going back. I called earlier to make an appointment and I specifically asked to confirm they could do a brazilian wax(not all places do it), and they said yes and signed me up for 5pm. I got there and they had no clue what my appointment was for(I don’t think anybody even checked I had one) and even assumed I was there to get my eyebrows done. The girl doing the waxing seemed a bit hesitant, but said she could do it. So it started ok, but they use the same wax for everything, and from my experience, brazilian waxing goes a lot better with hard wax. By the time she got to tough spots the wax was too hot and sticky to remove anything. She spent a good 10 – 15 minutes trying to wipe off wax that she couldn’t remove with a muslin strip. Then since she couldn’t wipe it off, she tried more wax and was able to get it out, but by then the skin was so irritated, it was the most painful waxing I’ve ever had done. On top of all that, my legs had all kinds of wax that had dripped, along with baby powder, and whatever stuff they had in stock to remove the wax was not working very well. So I had to check out of the salon with small bits of wax all over my legs, and my dress completely filthy because of the powder. I have had this type of waxing done in several occasions, so I know what to expect, and this was not it. I was just gonna go to dinner right after but had to push my plans to figure out how to get cleaned up. $ 60(after tip) to have the most aggravating and painful waxing of my life. So not worth it.

This place is too overpriced for the service they give. I did give one star bc I liked how they use new packaged equipment on everyone.

Lovely little nail salon. The atmosphere is wonderful and the employees are all great at what they do, and very friendly. I’ve been to several nail salons all over Volusia, but once I found Kizcoco I’ve stayed!
