First time here. Even in Arizona it gets cold, so turn the heat on. The temperature was 63 degrees inside, I jokingly ask the waiter for a blanked. He brought us one, made the commend they are clean and they wash them. They use them on the patio. The food looked very pretty, but did not have much flavor. We never got our water refilled. The waiter mentioned to us, he doesn’t feel good, he has a cold, but does wash his hands to prevent spreading of germs. Well, I hope he washes his hands even if he is not sick! Overall, not a fun experience, will never come back.

I use to love this place recent changes to the menu have made it not safe for my wife with a to eat because of a shellfish allergy. She can no longer have the sweet potato fries as everything is fried in the same fryer. The recent price increases make the food over priced $ 15 for a hamburger is a little much. Great selection of beers.

Good food, slightly overpriced, great atmosphere and good service. Probably return to explore more of the menu. Could be seen as more of place to drink than eat dinner with family, however kids were welcomed.

Always enjoy the variety and unusual combinations. Love the salmon sliders and the pork shanks. The hummus other appetizers are really yummy.

We were seated immoderately on the patio with a great view of the mountains nearby. Our server was extremely kind and helpful. Our food came out immediately and was superb. I ordered the duck curry. it wasn’t spicy(which I preferred) and the duck was cooked to perfection. Great place for a group!

I see why they don’t welcome Unilocalers! What an awful experience:(Food was awful and over priced. Waiter never filled up my water and never even asked how my food was. I’ve dined here once before and this last time was definitely our last time!

Ever since I moved to Tucson my boyfriend and I were dying to come to this place. We finally end up going and let me tell you is not what I expected. We sat on the patio and it was great, great atmosphere, loved the décor and the fire pit. Our server was very nice and always checking up on us. It was not a bad experience is just we thought the prices were a little too high for the quality of the good. We order some appetizers and I usually don’t order entrees but I decided to go with the pork-chops. COMPELTELYNONO! it was a chunk of meat under seasoned with mashed potatoes and over cooked Brussels sprouts. Not even a good presentation had my plate. They didn’t even gave me a bigger knife so I could cut it. I decided to take it home and when I was cutting the meat it was undercooked PINKPORK! I immediately trow it away. I recommend the place for beers and appetizers but for food be careful.

This place has gone downhill. To expensive and crappy service, and the«no Unilocalers» sign hanging out front is stupid, what wrong with people having an opinion and if you don’t like what the people have to say, then don’t give them a reason to write a bad review.

SIGNONDOOR: NO UnilocalERS! That pretty much sums up this experience. Underwhelming. Second visit… First visit they were out of every beer we asked for. Thinking it was just a fluke, we tried again tonight and my husband asked for two different beers and low and behold they didn’t have them! Waitress brought two samples of beer they did have, but they were not good. The service was good this visit. We were well attended to and the food came out quickly. The menu looked exciting, but when delivered the food was, well, underwhelming. Indian Cauliflower appetizer was near raw, and served with Parmesan cheese… with curry. It’s like they are trying to be chic but totally miss the mark with their food. Truffle fries were tasty, but again they are fries. Couldn’t detect any truffle oil either. Beet hummus was good, served with a couple carrot slices and few pieces of pita. We decided we didn’t want to order dinner as they appetizers and lack of beer were disappointing. If this place gets some competition on this side of town they are in big trouble!

It is a comfortable hangout place. Service is good and food is decent. The ambience of the fire pit in the fall is hard to beat. It can be compared to the ambience of the outdoor dining area at Starr Pass Marriott. Starr Pass has a much better view but the food at Hops is better. Starr is more romantic and Hops is less serious. Lots of finger food options at the Hops and their pretzel bread is good. Cheese board also gives you options to share olives, cheese, and meats. For a first date, take your girl to the Hops. For a second or the third, try the Starr Pass. And thank me later.

Awesome place, great patio, great scenery, great servers, and great entertainment. Tonight Final Approach is playing. Televisions to watch your sports, but why do that with Final Approach playing. You have to try this place out.

It is rare I am far enough North to be able to go to this place, but finally when planning a run with a girlfriend she suggested we went to noble hops and I jumped at the opportunity. We arrived sweaty and in running clothes, but were extremely welcomed at Noble Hops anyway. It had a nice atmosphere though, where we would have felt just as much as we fit in if we were in cocktail dresses and heels. Their menu was great and there bartenders were wonderful. Their wine list was comprehensive, yet would not be overwhelming to someone who did not know much about wine. My girlfriend and I split the Farmers Market green salad. The roasted veggies and crisp greens were absolutely to die for. I could have eaten two by myself! There Malbec was nice and the bartender expertly whipped up some sangria for my friend. I cannot wait to go back and try more things from the school Northside gastro pub.

Every time we come we have a wonderful time. The patio is beautiful, great view of the mountains, perfect for relaxing and having a cold drink and a snack. Dog friendly too. Rotating menu so there’s always something interesting and seasonal to try. A step above your usual bar fare for sure. Taps rotate as well and there’s a wide variety including ciders. We’ve always had good service, attentive, personable, but relaxed. Really enjoyed the jazz on the patio this Sunday evening. We plan to make this a regular outing.

I’ve been here a couple times now in the past few months. The service has improved, but last night our waiter was a tad slow but it was busy. The beers here are alright but they have too many sweet beers. Plus their beer glasses are not chilled. The appetizers are what I like to order and we ordered the pretzel and Greek fries. The pretzel is to die for and the Greek fries would be superb if they weren’t chincy on the feta cheese. Overall I enjoy the atmosphere and will continue coming back but not for a while

I love the atmosphere here! It’s one of our favorite places to gather with friends after work. The burger is my favorite, its delicious with the bacon jam! The Cuban sandwich was also very very good. There’s a wide variety of drinks to choose from, and some of the service staff REALLY know their stuff. If I have any gripes about this place, it’s that it’s a little expensive. Their service is also very hit-or-miss. I’ve been alternately blown away and unimpressed. Ultimately, though, the food quality, ambiance, and variety make it one of our consistent favorites

The patio was a nice place to just kick back and have a drink and/or meal. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. I got the Colorado Bulldog cocktail which is similar to a White Russian. It was mediocre in taste. For dinner, we ordered the Brazilian New York strip and the Drunken Pig. The steak was good with the purple Peruvian yam. The Drunken Pig, on the other hand, was extremely disappointing. The pork I got had too much fat. It felt like I was consuming 85% fat and just 15% actual meat. The Johnny cakes were too filling and greasy for me. I guess one has to be extremely drunk in order to appreciate the Drunken Pig.

My return visit was as fabulous as my first. We opted to sit at the bar this time. Service was solid from the bartender. Get the Thai Steamed Mussels. They are spectacular. I loved the sauce — a perfectly balanced blend of peanut flavor, coconut, and spice. The mussels were perfectly cooked and it came with the toasted bread to sop up the extra sauce. My husband got the bangers and mash. The mashed potatoes were very rich. He liked the sausages — said the flavor was great on them. It came with some baby asparagus which was very tasty. We also split the Greco Frites and they were better than I remembered from my prior visit!

This place was recommended to me by a friend and fellow Unilocaler. The recommendation as originally for another friend looking for a good place for date night with her fiancée, but I ended up checking it out too(not as a 3rd wheel, haha), and I’m glad I did. The rotating been and cider lists are fun and give a good opportunity for beer lovers to try new things! And for us non-beer lovers, they have several ciders and pretty much very liquor known to mankind… I tried Magner’s Irish Cider and it was good… But, then again, I haven’t met a cider I didn’t like… The outdoor area is gorgeous and has lots of seating, the inside has several table and booths, with low lighting for setting a relaxing mood. The staff is funny, friendly, personable, and attentive. And if you are sitting outside, and it starts raining, and you want to move inside, they are totally cool about it. No eye-rolls or attitude or anything. The menu online is super cute and easy to navigate. As for food: the Hopped Up plate(fried frog legs) was highly recommended by the other people at the bar. I tried the Bavarian pretzels and they were really good! I definetly want to try this place again for brunch and happy hour… Not or, AND!

I came here with my husband and a couple of my friends. We sat on the outside patio which was really nice. It’s equipped with nice furniture and misters. Our server, Chris was VERYVERY nice. He used«yes sir» and«yes mam» which I really appreciated. He was very attentive as well. For an appetizer, we had the Greek fries which were fantastic and so full of flavor. I had a mojito which had very little flavor, but then switched to a Bloody Mary which was pretty good! For my main course, I had the salmon. It was SUPERB. I mean, I got full half way through, but kept eating because I loved te taste. When I come back, I’ll be getting that again. I also noticed they have a huge case full of cigars. I didn’t get to check it out as much as I wanted, but I will next time. My only issue is that they have only one bathroom per gender. I had to wait in line a couple of times and that was before it got crowded. All in all, I really enjoyed myself. When I come back, I will make sure not to drive so I can have more than one Bloody Mary.
