Oroville Tacos

Not the best, but for its location and how fast they prepare your order it’s worth checking out.

I have eaten here multiple times and the staff here cannot seem to get my orders correct including forgetting ordered items. This really sucks because I live 30 minutes away and find these things out when I get home. Tonight tops the cake. I ordered dinner for many people and stopped to pick it up on my way home. And yes, there is no free water here, their guacamole is some weird green watery liquid, they refuse to correct the issue with their teas being mislabeled and their salsa/​taco sauce is hot. These are legitimate negatives from all the previous reviews. Not to mention the customer service SUCKS! When I got home, I discover that the 12 crispy tacos that I ordered had been made with experimental taco shells that were soggy and really mushy when I got home. Normally they can still be picked up and eaten, this was not the case. We then decided to try eating the tacos with a fork… Every taco had their hot taco sauce on it and we didn’t even order them with salsa or sauce. So, I called them thinking they would comp us some tacos next time since we were unable to eat the ones they sent us with. Well, as the practiced MO is, not taking responsibility for their mistake or not caring if they have good customer service, the management said that they would not take responsibility for the new girl that made my order messing it up. Funny thing, I have been spending $ 100 there at minimum each week. I will not be eating here anymore and I would reconsidered eating here too if I were you. This is really too bad because they have a good menu and could be great.

I’m very disappointed with this place. I’ve eaten here before and wasn’t totally disappointed but today was the worst. I ordered super nachos and a large drink. As I waited for my food I filled my drink cup with unsweetened tea. It wasn’t unsweetened. I took my full cup to the counter and explained the problem to the girl at the counter. The manager came over and said they knew the tea machine was messed up. When I asked for a new cup she told me to «rinse my cup with water». When I asked her if she was serious she walked away. I will never go back. Oroville Taco lost my business over a 5 cent cup. The manager is rude and disrespectful.

I knew better than to go here again! Why oh why did I not follow my instinct?
I went here when they first opened a few times and both times a total waste: small portions, no salsa and foul tasting meat.
This time the bit of meat in the «super» Quesadillas was not off but for it being «SUPER» it leaves me wondering what was so SUPER about it.
It said it came with a side of Guacamole and sour cream.
Where was the side?
IT DID NOT!
I opened up the quesadilla and saw only some runny white stuff.
I went back to the counter and asked where the side was? She told me it was in the Quesdilla. Really? Show me! She went on and showed me two little freen drops, and I am not kidding you, «Drops» of green stuff. She then told me it drips out cooking it.
She went over and got a squeeze bottle and squirted green runny liquid onto the quesadilla. If this is «Guacamole» it sure is the weirdest runniest Guac I ever have seen!
I asked for salsa. They do NOT have salsa. She gave me a tiny container of foul inedible hot sauce.
We also asked for water, and she pointed to «bottled water» we can buy.
REALLY?
NO free water?
NO Salsa?
No REAL Guacamole?
Do yourself a favor skip this place, never never never again will I return.

The place is clean yet flies everywhere, customer service from most workers is great, but from the owners wife very poor, she was very rude and doesn’t take orders well. The manager is never around to speak with. Overall food is ok but they need New management.

Food Stinks. Service Stinks. Environment Stinks. Stay Away. While we were ordering a homeless, intoxicated, shoeless man came in, started harassing me, I asked him to stand back away from us and he got more threatening. Asked the girls behind the counter to call the police-​they just stood there with their finger in their *#@&#!. Never bring your children here or any other family member. I can’t believe anyone would ever go there a second time. Save your money and go somewhere else the first time-​just keep driving. Counter girls did not offer selections of the meats, seems like they wanted to use what they had so they wouldn’t have leftovers for the day. Even Taco Bell rules over this place and I don’t go to Taco Bell except 2 or 3 times a year.

Wasn’t impressed. Very unprofessional service and the food is ok at best. As I was paying with my card the woman rudely asked if I wanted to add a tip. She continued to do so with the other customers as well. Apparently the workers think it’s okay to beg. Save your money and stay away from this place.

Total let down. Food sucks. Employees with no customer service skills. Not a clean table in sight. Not one single napkin in the whole building. Not even paper towels in the bathroom. I recommend avoiding at all costs!

The food was ok, the chicken was very soggy. The shrimp was rubbery. I would not recommend eating here. During the summer, the place was bombing hot, and there were flies buzzing around.

Of all my years dining out, this was the rudest service I’ve ever encountered. The woman taking our order acted as if we were a big inconvenience. She was verbally abusive to each member of our group. One person asked for chicken taquitos. The employee yelled at her, «we don’t have chicken!» We asked what kind of meat they had, she said, «beef, pork, and THAT!» as she pointed to a container of mystery meat. One of my companions asked her to hold the guacamole that was supposed to come with her meal. I asked that they put it on my plate as I like guacamole. Then she yelled at us, «we’re OUT of guacamole!» When our food was ready, they put it in to-​go containers even though we had stated that we were planning to eat there. She then lifted the bag and handed it to us sideways so that all the sauces and rice poured out of the containers and into the bottom of the plastic bag.
I know the few people that were there at the same time as us had similar experiences with this employee. While waiting for our food, another patron said to me, «hope the food is better than the attitude».
We are new to the area and like to dine out often. We will not be returning to Orville Tacos

I’m really glad this place opened. Very tasty, fresh, and affordable Mexican food and convenient if you live in the east foothills. Extensive menu. I love their carne asada! Only one small complaint is that they do add a lot of salt to their sauces. We would eat there more often but my parents try to cut back on salt and prefer another taqueria that doesn’t add so much salt to the food.
