Supercuts

I get a hair cut from Ranae atleast once a month. By far she has done the best job on my hair. I used to go to a barber in Sacramento (I relocated to Paradise) and just went and got a quick cut and I stopped in Oroville. Ranae does a fantastic job and now I will only go to her. Dont let the bad reviews stop you from going here, ive never had an issue.

I wish I could give this store a zero, I have never had an issue with any super cuts locations until I visited this one.
I set an appointment online just the simple what time I was going to be in and that was it. When I got there a couple minutes before my appointment time the woman just asked me if I was Sarah and I said yes, then she told me everyone was busy and they’d call me when they are ready. I sat down and a couple minutes later this interesting looking woman came out from the back, and called me up after she looked at me she said «Oh what are you here for a bleach or wax» At that point I no longer wanted to give that troll any money but I just told her that I was her for a color and she said she didn’t have time for that because she is two other clients, I said okay can anyone else do it? She asked another woman if she wanted to do it and the woman looked at me up and down and said «No I can’t make time for that». After which I just walked out, never in my life have I dealt with such rude employees working in a hair salon, I’m sorry if my leggings and sweatshirt wasn’t good enough for you to treat me like a decent human being or if my old bleach blonde hair didn’t look like a job you could of handled. I ended up finding another salon that helped me out far more than you could of anyways. Hopefully you guys can learn some manners in the workplace.

So, we chose Super Cuts because 1. It IS cheaper 2. They took our kids right away & 3. Our barber was booked…
When my son’s turn was up, the lady had asked what we wanted. When I told her, he usually gets a crew cut, she literally looked at me like I was stupid… and said puzzled, «so you want to style the top?»…WHO doesn’t know what a crew cut is?! Anyway, she proceeded to basically tell me she couldn’t do that and he ended up getting a real crappy haircut that I could’ve done at home… My seven year old doesn’t mind, so I guess it’s fine. But you DO get what you pay for… However, my other son’s hair was okay. Then again, he did have a different stylists. But, I will DEFINITELY pay the extra cash & wait at our former place.

I will be honest, I’ve never been a big fan of supercuts (the chain). I’ve had my fair share of not so good experiences at a couple different locations. The ladies that work at this supercuts are always very friendly. My husband and I have been here a few times since we relocated back to Oroville & I have to say we’ve been happy every single time. I have very long & very thick hair so sometimes hairstylists have a hard time with it… Almost like they’re overwhelmed lol. Valerie at this supercuts location has done a fantastic job every time with my cut (layers & side swept bangs). We will definitely be returning.
