Tim’s Kitchen

The place is clean and the staff is great. They have one of the few salad bars around anymore which is a big plus. It has a nice assortment to offer and is always visited by us when we dine there. The food is OK. Rather limited selection unless you are looking for sandwiches. We hear the breakfast is wonderful but we’ll have to try that for ourselves at another time.

I could eat here everyday! Everything I’ve ordered here is delicious. My favorite thing they’re fried chicken… perfect crisp and moist inside. Try the crispy chicken biscuit, so good.
Staff is always friendly and it’s very kid friendly. Kids keep busy watching the train circle and makes enjoying my meal easier!

Food is fantastic. We had the chicken and waffles. Highly recommend!

Right off the Foothills Trail in Orting, Tim’s Kitchen is a terrific lunch stop. The chile, sandwiches and Cole slaw were all fresh and delicious. Service is friendly and helpful. Food is all fresh made – next time we will try more adventurous options since the menu has a lot to offer for lunch. They definitely have the basics down. Thank you, Tim & team.

Excellent!!! Tonight will be our 3^rd visit. Had breakfast there this morning and will have dinner there tonight. Great food, fast, friendly service, and decent prices. Will be tiring out the bread pudding for desert.

Been to Tim’s a few times now and it nothing special, but is by no means bad. I can see how some may give 4 stars being the service was decent and the staff was very friendly. I usually pay more attention to the food which is fine, just not something I would go out of my way for. Looking for a decent breakfast lunch place this ok.

Food was awesome. Waitress found some common ground with me and my boyfriend and we got to chat alittle about our interests which was nice. Super friendly. First time coming in here and I’ve been letting everyone know to check out Tim’s cause we had an all around a great experience here.

My wife and I have eatin here a few times. It’s not «blow your Sox off» food… buts good and we never been dissapointed. Salad bar is pretty dang good. All in all its a great small town restaurant. Also… my dad said it was great and he’s extremely picky

We’ve been back a couple of times, even bringing other people with us. Their fried chicken is ok (at least it’s not super greasy!), but their bread pudding. OMG I had the pumpkin one during Halloween and just about died and went to heaven. :) They are a really really great place for breakfast and dessert.

I guess in this little town this place is one of the best places to eat, but it’s nothing that will knock your socks off. We found our food underwhelming, to say the least. Cleanliness is also a factor throughout the restaurant. Not worth the $$.

My wife and I have been coming to Tim’s nearly since it’s opening and after another wonderful meal, I thought it about time to give some love. I can honestly say I have never had anything but a great meal here. I don’t know what he does, but everything from the burgers to his daily specials are just terrific. My guess is the seasonings, but he won’t tell. Another very important part is the service. These folks always make you feel comfortable and important. From the time you walk in to the time you exit, they honestly look like they are glad you’re with them. Well, I suppose I could go on, but I can’t think of another place I enjoy more. So there ya have it. Visit one time and I expect you will feel the same.

The food was pretty good at this place. I brought my daughters here for breakfast on a Monday morning. The place was empty, they didn’t look busy at all. Our food took FOREVER, we were there for over an hour. Don’t come here for a quick breakfast.

I was looking for a new place to try for lunch with my golf buddy after playing a round of golf at High Cedars, and being a Unilocaler I decided to check some reviews from the area. Thus I was lead to Tim’s Kitchen, and it is a nice gem to enjoy in Orting.
The menu is full of lots of good food and was hard to decide at first what to choose. I decided to go for the Western Burger, which comes with one side of your choice. For my side I choose to do the one trip to the salad bar for an extra dollar. When they brought my plate out and it was a 12 inch plate, and not a small salad plate my eyes about popped out of my head.
The salad bar is pretty nice with Iceberg, Romaine, and Spinach and all the other fixings for a good Chef Salad. They also had pickled beets, coleslaw, potato salad, cottage cheese, and chocolate pudding. It was almost more food than I needed, and I didn’t even have my burger yet. The Western Burger was excellent.
The service was great and fast, and the atmosphere was truly family friendly especially with the model trains.

Delicious home cooked food, big portions, great prices. Nice place to have lunch with the family (they have A/​C on high! Yay!!) came here after spending time in the park across the street. I recommend the teriyaki chicken sandwich, so yummy. Very friendly staff always a plus.

Fantastic food at Tim’s! I love the staff, too! The restaurant is nice and homey. Good prices and the old time music takes you to another era. My personal favorite is the chicken fried chicken.

This place is awesome and the atmosphere is adorable. It is very cabin-​like inside and has a train running on tracks up by the ceiling. The food was to die for! Don’t go here if dieting because the food is definitely comfort food, not diet food :) They have a ton of different options for food, but an excessively big hotdog selection. I had the bacon and avocado dog and it was awesome. Imagine a hotdog wrapped in crispy bacon and covered in avocado and pico. My side was the homemade macaroni. Both were incredible! The server was also friendly and talked to my small child a lot which was sweet.

Oh my god!!! 10 of us came in on in the middle of our motorcycle ride. Service was very fast and and efficient. They were amazing.
We ordered a wide variety of food — the CPR burger with a double patty. The pig that was with us ate his burger in less than three minutes. There is chili and macaroni and cheese are both homemade and are absolutely delicious. We also had a couple of their gourmet hot dogs — the baked beans hotdogs and the Mack and cheese hot dog. Every single one of us were impressed with the quality of food.
This restaurant has been open for the past two years. If they continue serving this quality of food at these prices, with this service, they will stay in business for years to come. Our server was Kim and she had a great sense of humor and rolled with our style. She’s a keeper!

Tim’s Kitchen had come to Orting, WA for several months before we decided to try them for breakfast. The previous owners hadn’t done a very good job, so we were hesitant to try Tim’s, but we’d heard great things about them, so we give them a try. I am so glad we did!
I had the Smothered Stack and my girlfriend had the eggs benedict. Both our meals were hot and delicious and we soon found ourselves going to Tim’s for breakfast at least 2 times a week. Then we decided to try some of their lunch menu and again, we weren’t disappointed. I had the Hawaiian chicken sandwich and my girlfriend had the Chicken, bacon, avocado sandwich. We both had their delicious thick cut ranch fries for our side with tartar sauce. Both of those have been added to our favorites list.
It seems no matter what we try, it’s always fresh, hot and delicious. Tim’s staff and family are always super friendly and we feel right at home when we go there now. If you live in Orting or are passing through, be sure and stop at Tim’s for breakfast or lunch. We have yet to try a dinner there, but I have no doubt it will be just as delicious as everything else we’ve tried.

Renee is one of the most friendly servers. Thanks for the great service while having breakfast with my family. We drive all the way from Bonney Lake to eat here. The food is great.
