Dry ribs, overcooked, made me feel sick after eating them. Good service, poor quality meal

Wow!!! I had the Blue Berry beer (forget the name) and it was phenom!!! Service (Kyle) was spectacular, and the food was really good. I was with a couple of locals and they swore by the Crunch Chicken (chicken battered in Captan Crunch) and wow was it good. A must have.

Perfect spot to stop for lunch when you are cruising the River. Food was just above average, but the IPA was spot on! Server was friendly, prices were right, and the lunches came out pretty quick. Chicken Wrap was ho-​hum, could of used a lot more chicken, fries were just average. Chicken Quesadilla’s were tasty. Bruschetta was on point, nice big pieces of Mozarella. I would go back but try something else for sure!

This review is for the place as it is now, having combined Fratello’s and Fox River under one name. I had been way back when they opened, but aside from the building and location my memories are hazy.
This time around, went with friends during the airshow. It wasn’t very busy, and it was handy to the museums we were checking out so we could get a break from the sun. It’s still a cool building, and the location right on the water is great. Plenty of outdoor seating, but it was hot so we stayed inside.
I didn’t end up getting any beer this time, though I tried the root beer and it was pretty good. Sweetie and our friend had salads; I believe Sweetie had a Caesar and Barb had a garden salad. I had the ale-​battered fish, to work some beer in. The portion seemed a bit small, but otherwise I was very satisfied: perfectly done fish, flaky and moist, with a great batter. The fries with it were very good, and the cole slaw was amazing: thick dressing, good veggies. I dipped fries in the very tasty tartar sauce in the Oshkosh manner.
Service was good– there when needed but unobtrusive. Prices are a bit high, but it was worth it. I would definitely go back.

Great selection of beers — try the blueberry beer! Nice crowd and beautiful lake view — my friend and I took our beer outside and took turns sitting in the GIANT chair. Great times!

Right on the lake with a great selection of beers available. Happy hour is the best time to come (weekdays 3 – 6) because alcohol is half priced. The food is good too. Staff is willing to talk to you about anything and are a lot of fun. This is worth being a regular at.

We were visiting my daughter at UWO and found this place and was very glad we did. There is fine dining and a sports bar. I won and we ended up at the Sports bar but they gave my girls menu’s from the Italian Restaurant so they were happy. Beer was excellent, my burger was out of this world, and the girls liked their pasta. Can’t wait to visit in warmer months!

EXCELLENT restaurant and on-​site brewery! The pork medallions and Thai peanut pizza are extraordinary. Cupcake dessert is above average but not earth shattering. «Winnebago Wheat» beer goes down like silk with just a touch of citrus. Dangerously delicious and easy to drink! Sit outside next to the water and watch the airplanes fly over.
