I’ve ate takeout here since I was little. Now I’m grown with my own kids. It’s your typical Chinese takeout. I always get the same things here. I like their chicken wings and their spicy chicken. The spicy chicken is on the sweeter side. They do have a small buffet during lunch that I have seen. There’s not a lot of choices for Asian cuisine in MG so this is sufficient if you’re not wanting to cook. :)

Just went here tonight because Yu Fong wasn’t answering their phone(grumble grumble) and boy was it a mistake… I had the curry chicken and the hubby had the beef and broccoli — both were terrible. They put entirely too much corn starch in their sauces… you’d think they’d make a curry sauce with coconut milk, but it tasted like curry powder mixed with water and cornstarch… friggin gross. We will never go here again.

By far one of my favorite places in Maple Grove. I highly recommend their lunch buffet!

I was EXTREMELY disappointed in our take out and service last night. Not only did they short us an order of fried rice(that comes with each entrée), it was without exception the worst fried rice I’ve ever had. It basically looked and tasted like white rice that they had burned, except that would have been more flavorful. There was no veggies, egg, etc, that you usually get in fried rice and it didn’t even get better with soy sauce. The entrees were small, tasted the same, and just wasn’t good at all! To top things off, my extremely polite mother-in-law called to ask about these issues and let them know(again, very politely) that the quality was much worse than we had previously experienced, whoever answered the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive. They didn’t care at all about her concerns, the sub-par food we had received, or our future business… which is good, because we will never go there again! Save your money and go to a business that takes pride in their product, as well as their customer service!

This place was disgusting. The food is bad on so many levels I don’t know were to begin. I had the lunch buffet and perhaps their entrée service has some kind of magical transformation but I would run far, far away from this joint. Decent Chinese should not be this difficult. Show some pride and respect for your customers, please. Although I won’t know cause I’m never going back again.

I seem to come here for their lunch buffet about every other month or so. Buffets are always filling and it’s easy to over eat. It may seem like a small buffet, but these people seem to have a good variety of food. Most dishes are pretty darn tasty. I totally recommend this place for a quick, filling lunch.

I had the lunch buffet here with my family and it lived up to expectations. It’s a small-ish place, therefore has a small-ish buffet setup. There weren’t a ton of options, but the variety was decent and the food was good. Nothing about this place will keep me up at night with unfulfillable cravings, but if you just want decent American-Chinese food, this place is good. Prices were pretty cheap – around $ 7(+$ 1 and change for a drink) per person. The dessert buffet didn’t have much to offer, and I am still astonished that there was no Ice Cream or Soft Serve Machine! I thought ice cream was an American-Chinese Place staple! If I was in the area I’d go back and if I lived in MG I’d order it. Also, according to their website, lunch buffet is M-F 11 – 2 and dinner buffet is M-Sat, 5 – 8:30 p.m.

This was the worst Chinese food I have eaten. My husband and I ordered take out last Sunday and it was so bad we couldn’t even eat it! I was practically in tears over it. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone!

Good local take out One the burbs lacks is a local take Chinese place that is family run and with care. Chin Yung is one of those. I don’t know if I would go out of my way for the all to easy buffet but they have a good solid menu with some good clean tastes. This is not you local greasy Chinese food place. My only beef would be the Kung Pow Chicken… needs to be much hotter. I think sometimes ethnic places are worried about scaring the white Minnesotans off with food with flavor. Spice it up, make me proud. When I order hot, make it hot… I want to sweat. Good family choice. KT
