My favorite local breakfast joint, very nice people, food is always great, kind of feels like moms cooking in the cabin. Now if only they were open on Sundays– my only reason for not giving them five stars.

They bought the space next door and expanded close to double the capacity! Some light redecorating but all the same quality fresh made foods with seasonal specials.

I had French Toast here and it was great. They use their own homemade bread. This place seems to specialize in breakfast which makes it my kind of place. I definitely will find the time to come back and sample something else on the menu. As a side note, this place prefers you pay in cash.

This place is certainly a hidden gem. It’s location is odd, but the food is terrific! I had a wonderful burger on a «to die for» house made bun. The fries were great, the burger was well seasoned and my California tops were fresh. My husband loved his breakfast! The locals pour in for the fresh made daily bread, as we witnessed on the Saturday were there. It is a real bummer that this place is closed on Sundays, as well as for dinners. I highly recommend Henry’s!

Great breakfast spot. The gravy is much better than at Fat Nats. The French bread toast is fluffy and tasty. The portions are pretty huge. We couldn’t finish everything but we enjoyed trying. Our waitress was very attentive, polite and skilled. She gave us great service with a great attitude.

Henry’s is so good that I almost hate to tell people about it(since it has gotten busy since word has spread and occasionally I cannot get a seat). The food is delicious. The bread homemade. The desserts are to die for — and are inexpensively priced. It is one of those neighborhood places where everyone is so friendly you feel like a part of the family. If you go, you will not be disappointed.

This was our first visit to Henrys café and I’m positive there will be many to come. The food was amazing, I had the #1 which is scrambled eggs with ham and cheese over hashbrowns and smothered in sausage gravy, which is homemade to perfection. To die for. Husband had country fried steak and eggs with were also delicious. The fresh baked bread was a treat. A must visit café!

Just like stepping back into the 70s. Warm and friendly servers, greeted by the cook as you enter, and generous portions of great food. The fries are amazing, crisp on the outside and subtly salted. I had a patty melt and it was excellent. The server kept me refilled before I ever ran dry. What a great place!

I got here around 10 and was pleased to see a group of people eating burgers. The soups are ready too. However they don’t automatically have clam chowder on a Friday. I opted for breakfast and got a cheddar omelette. It was loaded with cheese, the hashbrowns needed no ketchup, and the white, Homemade toast was buttered halfway decent. They have a delicious, freshly made iced tea. They sell their bread and buns, but I passed this time. I was bummed that the fish fry is only during lent. I’ll catch it next year. I find it odd there is no tuna on the menu, but there is egg salad. No biggie, there is plenty to choose from. True diner food.

I was just at Henry this morning. The food is amazing. He bakes his own bread. Also, you teller another place in town where you sit and get a delightful breakfast for $ 2.00 That is not a typo. Yes they have an early bird special that’s listed on the website. You 2 eggs and toast for just 2 bucks. The best part is that you can substitute the one piece of toast for French Toast. Beautiful! I am not the type to write reviews, and believe this is my first restaurant review ever, after breakfast this morning, I had to say something. The service is not anything special. But it has a home style feeling. Thx Henry and staff…

Henry’s is among the best breakfast joints I’ve been to in town. Henry himself is in the kitchen. Bread is fresh-baked daily(and apparently, for sale as well — I shoulda grabbed a loaf for home). Gravy is scratch-made. Staff were friendly, and I never saw the bottom of my coffee mug. The country-fried steak was peppery, crisp, and not fatty or gristly whatsoever. The sausage gravy was amAZing. And the simple buttered toast was fantastic(I mentioned the fresh-baked bread, right?). I’ll be back.

Great little fine in Maple Grove when visiting the Twin Cities. Henry’s Café is an all American type diner where we were served a delicious breakfast. The over easy eggs were cooked perfectly, and the bacon & hash browns were crispy as ordered. Homemade wheat toast was a plus & a nice surprise. The café was quite busy but our service was great. Our waitress greeted us with a warm smile, was very friendly, attentive and served us efficiently. Next time we are visiting in the Maple Grove area, we will definitely eat there again.

Great little neighborhood breakfast and brunch location off of 63rd Ave exit of Hwy 169 in Maple Grove. It’s located in a small strip mall and recently added space for more people to try Henry’s food. Excellent breakfast with many different breakfast/brunch and lunch specials during the week. They make their own bread and hamburger buns. I’ve been once and will definitely go back to try more. The next breakfast item to try is the biscuits and gravy which many people rave about in the reviews and when I was there I noted a number of folks enjoying.

Everything I’ve had here has been delicious. I originally tried Henry’s because I heard he made good biscuits and gravy. He doesn’t. He makes GREAT biscuits and gravy. Since then I’ve tried several items on the menu. Try the French toast. It’s excellent and made with Henry’s homemade bread. You can buy a loaf of bread to take home, too. I had the best burger I can remember there last week. The bun was homemade as well. Henry’s is a small diner with a great atmosphere. After my second visit, I’m always greeted by name. If you visit, you’re gonna be a regular. It’s that good.

Excellent homey diner. Good, solid food. I took my daughter for breakfast. They have all the basics in a cozy location. The biscuits and gravy along with a sunny side up just hit the spot. If there’s one area to improve, it’s the wait. Come ready to sit for a while while your order is being prepped. I’m definitely nitpicking though… The cheerful staff does keep you topped up with coffee throughout.
