Authentic jerk chicken. Great spice and kick! Definitely try this if you are a fan of jerk chicken. The guy threw in some mesquite wings as a sample– they were amazing too. Mac and cheese was good as was the corn bread.

Amazing place, great location close to the train station. Prices are good and food is delicious. Will come back again. Hope they will have more things in their menu, but you still have plenty options to choose from. You can definitely eat there for under $ 10 and enjoy good tasty food.

Big things come in assuming packages. This little place may not look like much but had wonderful delicious fresh, perfectly seasoned food, with fantastic smoky bbq flavors. The owner is a super nice guy who takes pride in his work. Try the smoky wings, the bbq chicken, the soup, the corn bread, everything was fantastic.

Yup. It’s as good as they say. Ordered the BBQ chicken, mac and cheese, soup, and cornbread. All delicious. The BBQ sauce was flavorful but not overwhelming. Mac and cheese was cheesy and filling, and the corn bread was sweet and corny. I think the man I chatted with was the owner and it was clear he cared about the food. A stone throw from the train station, why not go?

Nice discovery in Ossining. Came for lunch for take out. As I’m not familiar with Jamaican food I really didn’t know what to expect. I was glad I came. Small take out place but the food is great. Jerk chicken is a wonderfully cooked spicy and herb infused dish. Not the kind of spice to burn a whole in your stomach but enough heat to make you sit up straight. Herbs and seasonings are mysterious and magical The soup was the real treat. Light but full of flavor with vegetables and chicken that just made it perfect. The owner was a delight to talk to and his smile made our lunch a success

Nice little spot in a soon-to-be sprawling part of Ossining, down by the water. Really friendly owner, fantastic authentic jerk chicken wings(smoked and super spicy, not slathered in sauce), maybe even better mesquite wings, and great cornbread. The chicken falls right off the bone! Mac and cheese could’ve been cheesier, but was still tasty. A couple good pizza spots aside, I’ve FINALLY found a worthwhile place to eat in Ossining!

Really good food. Wish the delivery minimum wasn’t $ 25. Other than that I highly recommend the food. Oxtail was legit!

By far the best Jerk Chicken outside of the boroughs of NY, and as close to some of the best chicken I’ve had in some of the Caribbean islands I’ve frequented. This place packs a punch with its quality AND quantity, their orders are by no means small. Be prepared for your taste buds to be given the enjoyment of a great meal wether it be the lunch portion or the full size portions. The chicken is both tender and moist as great jerk chicken should be, the spices used to make this chicken are special to this spot alone since they’re especially made in-house for each style of chicken, don’t expect your taste buds to recognize every ingredient as the secret for this jerk chicken goes back a few generations as explained by Christopher the owner and chef. There’s no secret to making chicken, but there is a secret to making this GREAT jerk chicken, and that’s the method in which it’s cooked, no crazy method just… Are you ready for this… wood chips and leafs brought in from where else, but Jamaica! Yuuuup, these guys don’t joke around! They’ve been doing this for years and it’s what makes the cooking process a bit different than most other establishments, and it’s what in my option allows them to produce that authentic flavor I enjoy, but if the chicken wasn’t enough, did I mention the corn bread? Which usually comes with most orders, the corn bread alone has its own story, but you can decide how great it is once you try it. If I could put it into a single phrase, it a ray of sunshine(get it? It’s yellow!) unto an already incredible meal! Lastly! If you decide to eat there be mindful of the care that Christopher(the owner and chef of this small, yet great establishment) gives to every person under his roof. I had the pleasure of speaking to him and he couldn’t have been more forthcoming about his Jamaican roots and childhood there, where he began learning the art of cooking Jerk Chicken at just the age of 5! Watching his great grandmother cooking while on the sandy beaches of Jamaica. I found him to be a great story teller as well as a great host. So if you’re in this neck of the woods make sure to stop by, trust me! it’s worthy of this lengthy review.

Had the quarter smoked chicken with rice and peas and a side of corn bread. Everything was delicious! Chicken was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. The wait is around 15 mins if you order there so if you are in a rush I suggest you order before you get there. It’s well worth the wait. Very welcoming place. The lady at the counter was super sweet and helpful. She told me it will take around 15 mins so I went back to my car in the train station parking lot just to kill time. I didn’t get any of their names but the man that works there maybe he is the owner actually went outside to my car, and hand delivered me my bag of food. How amazing is that!?! That’s what I call island love! Thank you for an awesome experience. :)

Randomly stumbled upon this place while in the area for lunch. It’s an unassuming place, but the jerk chicken was spot on and delicious! Soo flavorful with some nice heat as well. Also very much enjoyed the cornbread, which was almost like cornbread crossed with sponge cake. Big fan. Chicken soup and sandwich were just okay. Stick to the chicken and cornbread!

My husband got a whole jerk chicken, mac and cheese and rice and peas. As a vegetarian, I ate most of the mac and some of the rice but the chicken smelled soo good I had to try. All of it was delicious! Convenient location too, right next to the train station!

The corn bread are generous pieces and are really good. The Mac and cheese was good as well. The chicken was okay, we got a whole carribean rub chicken. And it didn’t feel. like the chicken was well marinated to have soaked in the rub. It was not as flavorful as I expected. Next time might try the wings instead.

I don’t write reviews often but eat out a lot, this afternoon I stopped in while working to grab a quick lunch and I was in the mood for jerk chicken. I just got back from Jamaica a few weeks ago and needed to kill this craving. Let me be honest with you. Phenomenal! Excellent seasoning, juicy fall off the bone meat cooked to perfection! I will be returning and I highly recommend you do too. You definitely will NOT be disappointed! Can’t wait to try the other items on the menu in the future!

A little gem next to the Ossining train station. The jerk chicken is amazing and oh so spicy. Loved the drum pan bbq chicken too. The light, moist and fluffy cornbread is the best I’ve ever had. We didn’t order it but the lovely owners included a generous slice for us to try. I won’t make that mistake again. Rice and peas, Mac and cheese were very good too. Terrific!
