Not one thing is a dollar!!! Prices start at 1.99 so really 2.19 after tax. Complete bs my son grabbed a toy that I come to find out is 6 $ and it was cheap plastic that shouldn’t have cost a dollar… I can’t believe they can call them selves dollar world.

Nothing in this store is actually a $ 1.00. You think you save money by going to the dollar store but you might as well go to target, Walmart… For example, you can buy a small 5X7 birthday gift bag at Christmas tree shop for $.69 to $.80 cents and at the dollar store 1 small gift bag is $ 1.49, with tax is more like $ 1.60. Therefore, when you are buying large quantities it makes a difference btw the $.60 and $ 1.49. The owner is a bit grumpy as well.

The owner is rude and will fight with you if you question his questionable pricing policies. I brought an item to the cash register and he rang up a different price than what the item was tagged for. When I asked him why he did that, he got nasty with me and told me to go to the back of the store and look at all of the other items which were correctly tagged (not my job). Then he began arguing with me.
Don’t change the tagged price of an item when the customer gets to the cash register without asking them if they are OK with paying the changed price! I left without making the purchase and will never shop there again.

stupid store they only sell junk. not worth it. its better to just go to target. I wonder how long this store will last.
