I second these reviews — it’s coming up soon(July 21st and thereabouts). Good value and fun for the family. Rides, fireworks, food, zeppole for dessert, all enjoyable!

I went with L and C to the Italian festival here in Ossining, and we were shocked to see how big this festival was(expecting a few mediocre food stands and some crappy Italian paraphernalia). My rating is based entirely on the two items of food we consumed: namely, a cannoli with a cream opening about two inches in diameter hastily stuffed beyond capacity with the creamiest cannoli cream I have ever tasted, and a flaky Napoleon(which we thought was a French pastry, but apparently it might have originated in Naples) that was also stuffed beyond capacity with thick layers of luscious pastry cream. At $ 3 each, the pastries were a little pricier than Artuso’s in Thornwood, my standard when comparing pastries, but no matter. The savory food(pizza, sausage and pepper heros, calzones, etc.) and other sweet food(zeppoles, etc.) smelled great but we did not partake. The delicious night ended with a fireworks display. This was the last night of the annual 5 night festival, but we will be back next year!
