For the past 5 years, my kids have taken lessons from the staff at FRA. We are especially pleased with the progress and growth they’ve developed in acoustic guitar and piano. The owners Karen and Ron are great (as is Ashley at the front desk). They’re open to new ideas and have went out of their way on more than 1 occasion to accommodate us. Our family is looking forward to growing with FRA for years to come.

We have two students at Fox River and have noticed both an increase in their math grades as well as their reading grades. The teaching staff, (Ms Sarah on Violin and Ms Nicole on Piano) are fantastic with our children and really take the time to learn how they need to be taught. We appreciate everyone there, from the front desk staff, the teachers to the owners. Highly recommend.

My daughter loves her teachers and has learned so much over the last few years even though she came to them with a lot of prior singing and piano experience. As a teenager, who is quick to tell you what she thinks, she would say that the teachers work with you at your own pace. Not all places do this. They not only offer private lessons but they also offer theory classes, group ensemble opportunities, and recitals. All of teachers seem very knowledgeable and they have a schedules that work well for school age kids. Very welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like family!

I love Fox River Academy! My family has been attending this school for roughly four years now. I love the atmosphere, the knowledge but mostly the character of the owners (Karen and Ron) and all their staff. They love what they do and you can feel it from the front desk to all the classes. My vocal instructor, Kirsten Fyr is amazing. I love watching her with the children; her patience is on-​going and she makes them feel like they can do anything. My son’s piano teacher, Anne Badger is wonderful; her upbeat nature is so positive and inspiring. This is a wonderful music school. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
