TripAdvisor listed Steamers as the highest rated restaurant in Oswego. My daughters and I ordered 3 completely different things. We sent the worst of the 3 back and ate a couple bites of the other two, only to be polite. It was horrible. On a brighter note, we ate at the Red Sun Fire Roasting Co. the next night and would highly recommend it!

I stopped by twice while staying in the hotel, and received great service. The food was fine, nothing too exciting, but perfectly serviceable.

Didn’t like it. Nice staff some good specials but food quality is not there. Ordered a scampi dish it came out super salty. They remade it n it came back tasteless. Later that night got the $ 6 beer n wings special n the wings tasted ok but smelt so much like spoiled fish I couldn’t eat it. BEWARE the menu looks nice the delivery os mess of a meal. Gave them 2 stars only cause they were nice n drinks were ok

Great atmosphere. Outdoor seating. College kids for wait staff. That’s about all that is good with the place. The food was okay. If you want better wings or bar food try the place across the street — The Press Box. As for drinks, stay away from their home made Bloody Mary’s. There is literally no after-taste. None. Tasted like water. Couldn’t even taste the alcohol. When asked if they even added Grey Goose to it, the waitress responded with«Ofcourse. I did it myself. It’s probably ’cause it’s Goose as it’s very smooth and you can’t taste it» — She looked like a freshman in college. Go figure! Any place that let’s their waiters make drinks instead of a bartender…

Steamers is a bar/resturant in the Econolodge in Oswego, NY. Surprisingly, it’s not a bad place to eat and have a few drinks, especially if you are staying in Econolodge as I was. It’s a little over priced but they make up for that with an awesome patio overlooking the river. If you go around sunset and the sun is glaring in your eyes just ask your server to adjust the sun shade a little. Based on the prices, I’d probable give them two stars but the patio and convenience of being in the hotel bumped it up to three.

Steamers. It’s a bar inside the Econo Lodge. Need I say more? It is nice on the inside. I’ll say that much. They have a working toilet, which pretty much sets it apart from all other bar bathrooms in Oswego. Their drink selection is piss poor to be honest. I hear that they have good food, but I’ve never been tempted to eat it. The only people I knew who swore by this place in college were desperate girls who went to Steamers to get hit on by older predatory men. Too soon? Too soon. P. S. Get your drink here and shirt signed on Bridge Street Run but get out quick. They don’t even let you in the bar.

Love it. I think the deck is amazing.

With the new Deck added this summer, Steamers is a great place to hang out, catch up with friends, have a drink and something to eat. Great burgers and appys. Drinks and food aren’t the cheapest, but it keeps out the riff raff. Can be a little wild on certain nites with bands. Food is pretty good. Bartendars are attentive. They even have a smokers room, which is kind of weird. But I guess some people can’t handle the cold winters. A great place any time of the year. Update– the crazy late nite bar scene has slowed down quite a bit. Prices are still in the high side.
