I was excited when Hardee’s came here because of my experience from the chain in Wisconsin. The food is terrible, and the malt that I ordered tasted more like chocolate milk. I don’t now how much longer this location has when it has another restaurant 9’ers Grill opening up across the road(where old Applebees was). For the company and workers sake, the should think about improving their costumer service and focus on food. If they don’t improve, the new burger place will hurt the Hardee’s business in this location

It’s too bad that Unilocal does not have an option for a negative star. This is my third trip to the store and I will honestly tell you the third time I’ve been disgusted, I thought I would give them one more try, I just spent $ 10 on a chicken sandwich that was burnt cold french fries and some of the worst service I have ever had in a restaurant. When I questioned my bill because it was $ 10 for chicken sandwich and a large drink and cold fries, the young man said no you don’t get a receipt and I kind a stood there dumbfounded and I just took my food left took three bites threw in the trash hoping I don’t get sick. I cannot believe this place is still in business, and it doesn’t get any better if you try the one in Yorkville Illinois either this chain is so disappointing.

So going through the drive thru seems to be best here. The ratchet people that work here seem to have a problem taking people’s orders and are very open with their attitudes when taking it. The guys that work in the drive thru seem to be over all nice. I have noticed the biscuits in gravy and hashbrowns are ALWAYS steaming hot, but ordering lunch the burgers tend to be luke warm. I probably wont ever eat lunch there again. I wont ever eat inside again. So stick with breakfast, and go through the drive through. No one inside is happy to help you unfortunately.

This was my 3rd time there since they opened thinking they had the problems worked out by now. I have continually been overcharged for the 5 piece chicken combo. Combo is listed on the board as being $ 5.00 upsize to medium is $.69 so it should total $ 5.69 but it doesn’t. It rings up as $ 4.15 for chicken and $ 3.19 for the medium combo for a total of $ 7.34…OVERCHARGING me $ 1.65. When brought to the cashiers attention after paying they say it’s tax. WHAT!!! Tax is listed at the bottom of the receipt and the Frisco burger we ordered was priced correctly. They have fought me each time. This time we ordered 5 kids meals that were brought out first saying they were waiting on medium fries my boyfriend was still up dealing with the combo pricing so I was glad his food wasn’t ready yet. 8 minutes later he’s still dealing with combo refund when they bring out medium fries(undercooked) and my 5 piece chicken temders(with only 4 pieces) and no burger. He is finally back with combo refund when I go up to ask for frisco burger and chicken to be told that the chicken tenders are all different sizes and one must be stuck together(they clearly werent) They got upset and gave me new box of burnt tenders and the frisco burger not toasted and soggy. 38 minutes from the time we ordered. Employees have given attitude each time to me when mistakes pointed out which were no fault of mine. While in general I really like Hardee’s food and was glad to have one open near us. Especially with 5 boys and the kids meals being $ 1.99 a great value for my family.

A day after the hubby’s birthday party, he was looking for some grease and settled on Hardee’s. It’s new back to the area, so he wanted to give it a try. When we first walked in, I was surprised at how clean the interior was. Very sharp and open, with a great set-up. I also loved how easy the menu was laid out. Not a million choices, so you weren’t standing and thinking for 10 minutes before ordering. The staff was very nice, and I thought the style of getting your food delivered(similar to Culvers) was nice, rather than having to stand around and wait. The soda machines were neat — similar to Coke Freestyle but with less options. That’s where the positives end though. My husband ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon on it and that combo, with fries and a drink, ended up costing us $ 10. I just ordered a ¼ pounder, but at the last minute, added a shake. $ 20 for two for a fast food joint was shocking! I realize we had no coupons, but I’d rather eat at Portillo’s if I want a burger for that price. The curly fries were good but lukewarm at best. The milkshake was fantastic; very light. Unfortunately I can’t say we’ll be back, due to the price but other than that, everything about the experience was great!
