Unilocal has a «check in» offer for a free 1 hour massage. My boyfriend and I were looking around for monthly packages and thought this would be a great option to try them out before commiting. Upon calling, no one at the salon knew what we were talking about. They were more than polite and professional, and stated they would have to email the owner and call me back within an hour. Quite some time later, they called back to say they were not participating in Unilocal offers, and I tried to tell them this was specific to their salon, not all massage spas on Unilocal. At any rate, we went elsewhere and received great service. And signed both of us up for monthly massages. I’m giving a 2 star because they were polite on the phone, even though they would not honor the offer. I am dissapointed that even 2 days later they have not contacted Unilocal to have this offer removed and it still shows available.

This is a great place to go if you are looking to get a massage. I tried 4 different technicians before finding one that worked best with me. The technician that I thought was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job was never available.

I am a member. I have had several massages and a couple of facials done here which have been satisfactory up until today. I scheduled a cranial sacrum massage to relieve an ongoing headache. The nature of my massage was confirmed at the time it was made and the massage therapist available to do this technique was Heather. When I got into the room, Heather asked if I wanted soley to focus on cranial sacrum or worked into a general massage. Now why would I have made this type of appointment not to focus on that alone. The pressure of hey technique was painful. Granted, I have tight muscles but I felt she could have been a bit gentler. My face was getting pyshed into tge headrest so much, my cheek hurt later. She never asked me my opinion of the pressure. At one point, she cradled my head in her hands for a couple of minutes. Still trying to figure out the therapeutic benefit to this move. I came out of the massage feeling more pain than going in. Counter productive. I’m canceling my membership and returning to my chiropractor’s therapeutic massage technician. At Massage Envy, it’s just too much of a roll of the dice if the technician is qualified or not. This is not acceptable when ones health and wellness is concerned.

Helpful friendly staff, we kinda just showed up! They were able to accommodate us and within ten minutes! Nothing like a massage when your back hurts. Thinking about becoming a member!

Got a massage and facial as a gift from husband. Both girls did a good job! But the sign recommending the exorbitant tip(why should they get more than any other profession?) and the hard sell on the way out for membership(after we said no thanks we were treated very rudely!) ruined the experience. It was a gift to pamper and relax, and we left feeling very uncomfortable!

Meh indeed. Came in because I got a «welcome to the neighborhood» discount. I called in to schedule a ONEHOUR massage on a Sunday afternoon and they had plenty of appointments for the day I wanted(+). Location-wise it’s pretty close to me so it’s not a chore to get there(+). As for the actual service — Hmmm. I got there a couple minutes before my appointment as I was advised to do to fill in their first time customer questionnaire and that took all of 1minute to complete. I waited for about 10mins. I got in the room 5mins after my appointment was scheduled and was out of the room 7minutes before the hour was up. I’m not a whiz at math but I don’t think that adds up to ONEHOUR. Okay, Okay… I spent a little over an hour at the facility but I wasn’t oiled up and rubbed to my heart’s content for the time I was allotted. With the time it took me to get familiar with my masseuse, dis-robe and ‘robe’ again I would say the actual massage time was 45min. Le Sigh. The massage itself was sub par. I asked for a deep pressure massage that concentrated on my shoulders and lower back and I got a pressure point massage? my 3yr old son could push and punch me harder in the back than this chick! Needless to say I wasn’t impressed. Not enough rubbin’ and tuggin’ — No happy ending here(pun intended!) Will not be coming back for $ 79/hr

If I had unlimited sums of money, I’d get a massage every week. It doesn’t get much better than lying down and having someone else massaging away the stress and aches and pains from your body. Massage Envy does all of those things and more! I took advantage of their introductory offer which included a generous discount off their normal price. What a bargain. For the next hour I was putty in the hands of my masseuse. I suffer from neck, shoulder and lower back pain from time to time and my therapist seemed to know just what to do to provide relief and at just the right amount of pressure. I can’t think of a more relaxing way to spend an hour. It’s worth every penny! I need a massage now, come to think of it.

This is a Massage Envy location but for some reason all phone books have it listed as Envy Massage. A little backward. Anyway, This is a great place to go if you are looking to make massage part of your lifestyle. When you first go you get an introductory massage at 39 or 49 dollars depending what special they are running. After your massage they will ask you to join their membership program where they charge you 59.00 a month and you get one-one hour massage included each month(which also roll over to the next month if you don’t use it). After that any additional massages you want are 39.00 each. I looked this information up before I went so I wouldn’t be surprised(I hate when you are surprised with sales pitches and whatnot). I had decided to give it a try because I get migraine headaches and the medication I take is so expensive. I thought if this could help me feel better why not. The first month or two I just went once and the massages were good but I didn’t know if it would really make me feel better or keep my headaches under control. Then one day in October I was stressed and had a terrible migraine and called Massage Envy to see if a massage could help my migraine go away. They put me with Mark. I was in so much pain that day and he made my headache pretty much disappear. He put together a custom massage for me working on my head and neck. I started seeing him once a month after that and noticed a huge difference, I also noticed after about 2 weeks I would get headaches again so I decided to try going once every 2 weeks. It has helped SOOOOO much! In the long run I save money because I am not spending as much on medication and its nice that it is a natural way to feel better without the side effects medications give. I definitly recommend trying Massage Envy out if you are looking to make massages a regular part of your life. If you only want to go once every couple months it may not be for you considering I know a lot of places that charge 65.00 for an hour massage and you are paying 59.00 a month at Massage Envy. If you want to go once a month or more it is a good deal and its nice to go to the same person who knows you issues and makes a massage custom for you. I have gone to 3 or 4 massage therapists at Massage Envy and all were good but Mark was by far the best. Even if you decide you only want to go once and not get the membership, go for it. You can’t beat getting a 1 hour massage for around 40 dollars.
