Sam’s Pizza

Great pizza! Beef roll is highly suggested! Great service, family atmosphere, and reasonably priced.

Sam’s you have inspired me to write my first Unilocal review. You have given away my pizza to someone else for last time. You said «30min» on the phone– I was there in 29 — and you gave my pizza away «to someone you knew» before i got there — and then gave me a smaller pizza instead. It was cold btw. Then you said i could wait for another small pizza to make up the difference… Like another 20 minutes. Thanks, but no thanks. I won’t be back. I only go to Sam’s because service at Bianchi’s is so bad.

When you only take cash in the 21^st century, you automatically lose 2 stars. Second, canned soda is a scam. You do not get value when there is no fountain drinks. But I’m guessing the owners make more money. Cool. We’ve had friends rave about this place, so we decided to try it. Not impressed. I would rather have Little Caesars. I’m a sauce person, put some pizza sauce on your pizza! Come on man.

Pretty decent pizza, it tastes better than it looks. Lots of cheese, the crust is not great, it’s very much like a frozen pizza but the quality of the toppings make up for it. It’s cash or check only which is a hassle especially these days when anybody with a smartphone can accept credit cards.

Many years ago, I lived in Ottawa and frequented Sam’s and Alphano’s because they had the best pizza. So I was anticipating getting pizza from one of them. It was recommended to me to go to Sam’s. Big mistake.
The pizza was one of the worst I have had in years. I ordered a thin crust pizza. The crust was soggy and not thin at. It had way too much sauce (so much the cheese slide off when you went to eat it. There was very little in the way of toppings and the sauce tasted like it came out of a can. The cheese was good.
I would never go there again. Not like I remembered it at all.

Not bad thin crust pizza. We opted for sausage. The crust was tougher than expected. Pretty busy on a Fri nite. We waited a half hour for the pie. Reminds me of Aurelio’s pizza up in Chicagoland.

I highly recommend the beef roll. So amazingly good. Not really a dine-​in kind of place, you can, but you grab your can of pop and have a seat at the table and wait till they bring you the mound of goodness. Totally worth it.

Great Pizza, Bread-​Sticks, Beef Sandwiches, & Beef-​Rolls.

My Sister just graduated grade school and for a family party my Mother was ordering cheap $ 5 hot and ready Pizza.
I was not having any of this, what could save the day and my sisters party? Sam’s Pizza and their famous beef rolls! For those of you who may not be aware a beef roll is a pizza crust filled with Italian beef and cheese the covered again with another pizza crust and sprinkled with cheese on the top layer of crust! it also comes served with 2 cups of beef broth if you want your meal a little more Juicy.
I called ahead which is always a good idea as the wait can become quite long in the evening hours paid my $ 15.00 (for a small) and scampered off to my parents house there where 8 guests who enjoyed the beef roll and we where all quite satisfied (my mother included). If it was not for the food being a heart attack in a box I would order it more but I like to maintain a healthy life style. I do think next time I order out for a party the beef roll will be on my list of things to buy.

Great greasy grub. I like Sam’s, been going here for years.
The crust is thin, the sauce is tangy with a little bit of sweet.
Plenty of cheese too.
I think they’re open pretty late too.
Stop by and have a pie, you won’t regret it.
